This place is terrible and the barbers working here have horrible human relation skills. The barbers should consider retirement and probably hiring friendly barbers. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE. They treat kids as if they were dogs here. Not kid friendly. I honestly don't know how they have a 4.3 start rating, the only reason I even went was because the star rating.

The guy I talked to was kinda rude. Answer the phone abruptly, I asked if I needed an appointment or just walked in and he replied, walk in only but we don't do ladies cuts,you'll have to go somewhere else or if you want your hair cut Like a man then come in. Dude didn't even realize to ask if I have a side shave.. As I do. Assumptive, rude and sexest.

Awesome service walked in got a high fade was sat down right away and she used a straight razor on neck and ears (hard to find) also the hair cut was 12 bucks which for kona is cheap half the price if you go to super cuts and a better hair cut

I want to thank Adele for a GREAT experience. When i got there I was behind a couple with a very frightened child. The little boy made it clear that he was NOT going to get his hair cut. Adele handled the situation in a professional manor and I became next! Adele proved to be a professional in expertise and wonderul conversation. my worst experience ever ! when I first came in everybody was so nice. but after we've started I was asking to cut some more of the length on top of my head . than I've started to feel how rude they are ! they got mad on me because I was asking to change what they did to my hair ! and I left the place with a really bad feeling !thanks to the staff the hair cut was ok, not good , just ok.

Cheap and cheerful barber shop. I got a decent quick haircut in about 10 minutes for $14. No where nearly as good as my usual barber shop on the mainland but it's fine if you're in a rush.

Husband and especially the wife are RUDE. Don't tell them how you like your haircut, they just ask what type and go from there. I tried asking the wife if she can go a little higher on my cut and she rolled her eyes and just started cutting again. They don't know how to edge up so don't ask... I do hope that the guy starts to feel better though. This was my second time here and my last. Just got back to my place to rinse off my head of loose hair and noticed my haircut is messed up. The sides are uneven. Sad..

Great old fashion barber shop. People get upset because they enforce what used to be called, common curtesy. No phones in the chair. Leave the shop and loose your place in line. Snowflakes should go to a salon.

For those wondering, this place is under new ownership and no longer owned by Alec and Adele. That said, the pricing scheme has changed as well as the interior. There is still almost no wait time when I have personally been there.
