Fast and friendly. Quality of cut varies greatly per stylist. At $8 for a cut they don't spend much time per haircut. Also they don't offer traditional barber services such as shaving and use of straight razors to edge hair. If you would like a basic haircut without spending much time or money this is a great place.

Good place for a hair cut .. I avoid the old man with the white beard. He likes to tell black jokes. Which I don't appreciate!. So whenever I pull a ticket and he reads out the number..which is the one I got.. I'm like nope, I don't like you. Other than that, quick hair at a good price.

Went for a haircut today..simple fade...an old man at the very end took me as soon as i walked in. Absolutely the worst haircut i ever received in my life!! I asked if he had a razor to bring down to skin level before and he said yea..lil to find out he lied!! I paid for haircut because i felt bad for him..but in all reality he was rushing because of course he saw ppl waiting and was trying to make his $. There was lines..un even throughout my whole head. My hair usually takes half hour to cut. This man got me out that chair within 10 mins. He admitted he did not have cosmetology background. They must hire anyone there to work. Place was packed full of elderly that dont know any better. You would think a barber shop would know how to accomplish a simple high fade..i had to go home and shave my own head after, i just didnt have it in me to let the old man know how bad he sucked and ruined the whole experience for me! I would give this place zero stars if i could. Haircut was eight dollars, guess i got what i paid for. Highly recommend to everyone who wants a good barber to stay away from this place for sure!!!!

BIG AL'S not only made him comfortable (given his previous bad experiences), they made his hair cut ENJOYABLE! She understood my fumbled attempt at explaining the cut we wanted & knew exactly what would look best on him. She was able to keep him (AND ME) happy & had him feeling/ looking like a million bucks...All within 10 minutes!! They were so great, my son has actually ASKED me to take him back!!! We love Big Al's!!

Big Al's has eight or nine barbers, both men and women. Oddly, a couple of the male barbers are too lazy to shave. You would think that a barber, whose profession is built on male grooming, would himself be properly groomed. That aside, I've been there two or three times now, and will return. The barbers are quick and efficient, and I have no complaints about the two women who have taken care of me.

Past two times I was there I I got the same lady. Not sure what her name is. I know she has really short black hair and tattoos. First time she cut my son's hair. Second time she cut my hair. Both times she overcharged me. I don't know if she was afraid I wasn't going to tip her or what but I know what the sign says my haircut should have been and it was not what she told me I owed her when she was finished, and I always tip well for good service. Definitely more than 20%. My son and I have been getting their haircut here for years now but I know next time someone else will do it

Friendly employees, fast service and great work on my hair. There are 10 barber chairs, so no matter how busy it is you're in and out quickly. As soon as you walk in, take a number. Some customers have their favorite barber and choose to wait until that person is available, but most go with the barber that calls the number on their ticket. They take cash only and you pay the person who does your hair. Inexpensive. There is a customer appreciation day in the Fall when all hair cuts are free.

Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect. It's located in the middle of nowhere and the name reminds me of a South Park character. I found out they were cash only (I'm sure they have signs, I just didn't see any) after waiting for my turn but they took me and my son anyway. There is an atm down the street so it wasn't a huge deal. They allowed us to grab cash and come back to pay after our haircuts which was super nice and very convenient. Staff was friendly and made good conversation (initiated by me so I'm sure you can sit quietly, if that's your thing) and the haircuts were great. Glad I found this place.

Eight bucks for a walk in haircut. How could you go wrong? I have a couple of stylists that I prefer but you get no choice if you want a quick cut. I never have to wait more than 10 minutes.
