Awful experience, received a complete chop job, rushed in and out. It takes a lot for me to complain, but this was bad, I left there and made an appointment somewhere else. I’m new to the area and I had picked 2 places to try out. There was literally hi and low spots in my beard, there spots on my neck where she completely missed everything. Never really offered to do anything. I have no idea how the rest of the staff is but this stylist was very bad

I have been going here for years and never posted a review on google. The service is always excellent. I always walk in, and even if they are crowded, they are very up front with letting you know how long of a wait or if your preferred barber has upcoming appointments. I have my favorite barber, but if she is unavailable or long wait time, I will gladly be cut by any girl on staff and have never had any complaints about the quality of cut or shave. All the girls are very personable and the establishment is always clean and accommodating. What can I say, I'll never go anywhere else.

I tried both Saturday and Sunday morning around 8:30 Sat and 9 on Sunday to make an appointment but they were still closed and I couldn’t leave a message as they have no answering machinex Then I forgot to call back having a 5 yes old old busy boy. We waited an hour and 15 minutes as a walk in. It would be very nice if they told you it would be that long with a busy boy.

Went out of desperation as my regular barber was unavailable. Got a quick haircut that was uneven and subpar for the high price I paid. I have a full long beard and was never asked if I wanted a trim despite pre registration asking for same. Price is outrageous for the service. Oh, you do get offered a beer 20 minutes after you get there. Too bad I dont drink. May have lessened the shame of paying for a haircut my kid could've given me.

Always greeted in a friendly but professional manner. Like must guys, I don't know how to describe what I want, I just know what I want. Thank goodness they keep everything on file from how they did it last time. Cold beer and hot towels, a great combination. Always use Kristin, but have been very happy with rest of staff when I've been in a jam and Kristin wasn't available

I've been going to The Ultimate Shave for years, and I return time and time again because of the great service and friendly staff. Plus, they're reasonably priced. If you can plan ahead and schedule an appointment, they'll take you right away. But they're good about getting you in, even if you don't have an appointment. My 16-year-old son prefers The Ultimate Shave over other places, too.

Worst experience ever call to make an appointment for a full shave with facial lady on phone tells me I’m booked for 6pm ok so I get there for my appointment tells me she can’t do the full shave after Said they could on phone that said I live over an hour away wasted my time and gas . Customer service here is horrible lady tells me we have other customers that’s rude because I’m a customer . I feel I deserve a free shave with facial since I wasted 60 dollars worth of gas getting there for no reason. I was forced to go to one of your competitors and they were friendly and did what you guys refused to do. Never will I come here again .

My husband was not impressed with his experience at this barber shop. The concept is very unique in that patrons can enjoy a beer while they have their hair cut, and they have tons of TVs with spots playing; however, the quality of the service is somewhat lacking. My husband made an appointment at 5:15 pm and was finished with his hair cut and beard trim by 5:30pm. He had to ask twice for a beer, and he didn't receive the haircut he asked for. A fifteen minute hair cut is absurd for the price you pay, but I guess you are mainly paying for the environment not necessairly the quality of service. His hair does not look bad, but it is clearly not what he asked for and as a result he will not be a returning customer.

I'm basing my opinion on the one time I've been there, not the pricing for what was provided because that would be a much worse rating. I stopped by as I hadn't had time to shave while on the road and hadn't had my head shaved in 5 days, but mainly because I was just tired. In other words, I wanted a good shave and a hot towel over my face and the beer sounded nice. I got my neck cut three times with a double razor blade (not what your grandpa used) contraption, it took 3 minutes to use the 00000 on my head and then they put cucumbers and something smelly over my eyes. The girl was very nice and yes, she was very pretty, but that doesn't score points. Same thing costs me $20 with a tip a lot of other places (minus the cucumbers, option for beer and cuts on my neck) and I can skip the pretty girl. Had it been relaxing and the shave had been even good I could see it worth it for someone with hair when you want to splurge. It's not, unless you're made of money or don't understand the concept of it.

He didn't mention the friendly, beautiful staff the ambience or any of the other things that make this place so special. I couldn't believe it, and I've been going back, very happily, ever since! I had a bad experience here. I made an appointment at 1200 but when I got there at noon they told me it’s a 15 plus minute wait. They start with me at 1230 and I’m here mainly for a beard trim and since I wear glasses I only notice after the hair cut that the girl missed my left upper cheek. I go to pay and the bill is 31 dollars but when I go to pay card it jumps to 33. If you are there for the atmosphere that’s your thing, but if you want your beard trimmed stay home with an electric shaver like I should have. It will save you an hour and 33 bucks.

Make sure you schedule an appointment with Kat! She is very patient, friendly, is very adept at the use of the straight razor and is able to do even the most complicated style. The shop is very well done and has complimentary popcorn as well as a hot towel service as part of a cut. The only drawback is that Kat isn’t full time!

The Ultimate Shave is the best hair place I’ve ever gone to for guys. I’ve been going for a year now and have received consistently incredible service from the complimentary drinks to easy appointments and little touches during your experience to make you feel comfortable and honestly high-class. My favorite parts are the straight razor neck shave, hot towel, and GREAT massaging shampoo I get during a cut. It’s worth every penny of the reasonable and average prices for haircuts in the area. Nikki in particular is amazing there and is really great at listening to the client and making style vision a reality. Never given an easier 5 star review. I will be driving here monthly even if I moved from the area!

man...rose's are red...violets are blue...summers quickly fading...and I wish some smells would too. Had a great haircut by Kelsey on saturday which may be one of the best I've had so kudos to her. the only downfall of the visit was a weird stench coming from a barber by her. I dont want to blast her so I'll just say her name rhymes with late...but shes definately not great. If the smell from her end of the building is there next time I go, I may buy her some deodorant for her bday this year.
