Overpriced. A lot of other barbers in the area charge 25 percent less, and if you factor in the tip it's more. They bought the shop from someone else and immediately raised prices. Susan didn't raise prices until years after opening. See the comparisons below. There are also many reviews by the owners friends to bump up their rating. If you want a high grade, NYC quality fade/taper head to UpTop see Bryan, Lexi, Jeremy or Rob. These guys absolutely kill it every time. Hard to find a better cut than they provide for the price. Customer service on point. Friendly, easy to talk to, and very welcoming. Recommend highly without any reservations whatsoever.

Pretty much the best barbershop in CT. Can’t find anything better, and I’ve been to many shops over the years. This will definitely be the only shop I go to from now on. Great haircuts and fades, as well as a wonderful staff. A very friendly and relaxed environment. Always walk away extremely pleased! Highly suggest coming in and checking it out. You will be happy you did, and will have found your new barbershop.

Most enjoyable haircuts I’ve ever had. The staff here is extraordinary and pays attention to whatever it is you request down to the smallest detail. Normally Bryan cuts my hair but he was tied up at the moment so Stephen subbed in and nailed it right off the bat! Excellent barbershop!! If consistency is what you’re looking for, look no further!

I moved to the area almost 2 years ago and have tried a few barbershops until finding Up Top Barbershop. Rob was highly recommended from other reviews so I made the reservation and very happy with the results. Love that you can book the appts on line and most importantly feel that I got the exact haircut I was looking for.

Service is great, prices are okay. Reason for dislike is that they just changed their system. They won't answer the phone, and they want you to book online. I'd really just like to book with a person. Also, online booking won't let me make an appointment for me AND my brother at the same time. I can book two appointments in one go, but they have to be for different times. Big pain to do so. Going to use a different shop for now. Stop requiring online booking and we'll be back.

The staff here is very friendly and the barber shop is welcoming. The barber that cuts my hair is Rob. After my first visit with him, I am no longer cutting my hair elsewhere. Rob is very meticulous on his craft and takes the time to make sure you leave with a clean cut. The other barbers and hair stylists are also good. If you need a good barber shop to go to, this is the place to visit.

A real barber shop. Jeremy did the job exactly how it was supposed to be done. I asked for a military high and tight, got exactly that. Shaped it up with a razor blade. This is the difference between a real barbef ship and super cuts. I will always go here and you should too. Oh and the price is totally reasonable, for a shop paying rent in simsbury. I am over joyed I found this place.

Alexie was super good with my almost 2 year old son.. my son was super chilled out with her unlike his first hair cut somewhere else. She really paid a lot of attention to detail on him especially for a kids cut. We will be back for sure!
