The only reason I go to Lady Jane's, is for the person who cuts my hair, Christine or Tina as she goes by. I have been getting my haircut from her for at least 6 years now almost every month. I have followed her from place to place because she is the best. Very professional, tons of experience cutting mens hair, knows what looks good and what doesn't. She is very personable and always has a great attitude. I always make an appointment with her and nobody else. One time I really needed a haircut and she was on vacation but I was able to text her and find out who SHE would recomend to cut my hair. That is how much I personally trust her. Go to Lady Jane's, ask for Christine you won't be sorry. Get the neck massage too, totally worth it!!

I have been coming to this location every month-and-a-half for the last year or so. I don't plan my haircuts far enough in advance to make an appointment or have a regular stylist. You don't need to here. All of the stylists are good - I haven't gotten a bad hair cut here. I haven't had to wait more than 30 minutes either. I much prefer Lady Jane's to the other chains geared towards guys, Sports Clips comes to mind. I get a better, more consistent haircut for less money.

Worse experience and haircut ever.. if you want a buzz cut, they know how to use the clippers.. want anything else.. go somewhere else, when they make the mistake, they say its your fault for not using your words.. "I'm sorry.. did i just step back to Pre-K".. still asked for payment.. it'll be another 2 weeks before i can get it fixed by a licensed professional..

Natasha is terrible. I have been to your faculty several times. Recently you had an increase in pricing and come to find out a lack and decrease in quality stylist. Natasha was horrific, had a nasty attitude and seemed to have a problem with children. She did a terrible job with a fade and literally left my son bald mid head down and had bald spots when I specifically asked not to go short. She then. Blamed it on my son he moved but that was a result of her burning his head wit her hot machine. She then proceeded to blame me for standing there watching and claiming I was in her way and is why she messes his hair up. Manager then evened my 8 year olds hair as best she could but priceeded to charge me for the horrible service attitude and hair cut the day before school pictures. I deserve a full refund and Natasha should really look for a career she enjoys, because it seemed as though she hates her job and this is reflected in the cuts she makes. I will never go back. Natasha I would avoid specially for kids and I will never pay $15 for such poor quality work from her or anyone.

Unfourtunatey thats where is ended. unfaded unblended and choppy hidden by product and why they have you check it in such a far away hand held mirror. I wouldnt say bad things about stylist, but never talk about another shops "horrible" hair cut I had when you can produce yourself. I now have to buzz my own head.

I took my son there so we both could get haircuts, big mistake they butchered my son's hair and then argued with me about it. I ended up having to take him somewhere else to get it fixed. After what they did to my kids hair I wasn't about to let them cut mine. Update: spoke to a manager received an apology for what happened we will see how things go from there. 9/28/2017 Nothing was done to fix what happened with my son haircut.

Inexpensive cuts with friendly service. I always walk in and have never waited longer than 10 minutes. They play trendy music and are always playing sports on the TVs. The stylists are chatty and do a decent job, my few haircuts there have ranged from mediocre to excellent.

I’ll give 5 stars because most of my visits are good. When I can’t get to my barber and need a decent cut and care in a pinch, this is my go-to. Always polite and reasonableuduododuF.yhz for the service provided Most of the stylists are good with asking if you want different treatments or services. One time they didn’t ask and the particular stylist seemed unhappy when I asked for one of the higher end services, but the other 10 or so times I’ve visited has been stellar treatment Will likely visit again.

This location is very convenient to where I work, and I had a good experience at another LJ location. So I decided to try this one out. I have been to this LJ location 3 times. Twice with same Stylist and she gave me one of the worst hair cuts of my life. My hair was completely uneven, and choppy. I had to get it cut at another place shorter in order to even it out and grow it back out. The second time with her I explained exactly what I wanted and it was like she forgot what I said half way through and started to do it anyway but then reminded what I had said but it was to late. I know shame on me for not stopping her but I could not see what she was doing and she went to fast for me to stop her. She had to adjust and try and fix it as much as she could. She did not seem confident in what she was doing either. She also reeked of cigarettes. This was the first and third time I came to this location. If I had a bit more time to wait I would have chosen a specific stylist. (I went on my lunch break) The second time in-between these two experiences was great. The stylist was attentive to how I wanted my hair confident in her technique and appeared to really know what she was doing. She delivered an over all quality service. She was the only reason I came back again. To bad she was busy this last time, and I did not have enough time to wait until she was available. When I go back I will be sure to request her ahead of time, if I go back at all.

The haircuts are a good price, the service was fast. They offer beard and mustache services, but we didn't take advantage of them. The waiting area has leather armchairs and is probably the most comfortable salon waiting area I've ever been in. I took one star off because my husband had a difficult time convincing the stylist that he wanted a non-traditional haircut. But we did walk out with what he wanted, so all was good in the end.

First hair cut I got was awesome. I got my hair and beard colored at the same time and I liked the results. But the next time I got someone else and suddenly it got VERY expensive for what I thought was the same thing. And it didn't look as good. Third time got yet someone else and just a cut. I didn't like the cut, but at least it was cheap this time. It just seems that the price when I check out doesn't match the prices on the wall.

I feel like the sentiments from many of these reviews rings true. Basically, the stylists are awesome for the most part, but the establishment is shady. I had the same experience. I will be back only because of the person who cut my hair; the experience was great. However, when i walked in, no where could i find a list of their services, or what a hair cut entailed, or how much anything cost. Everything is so secretive and off putting. When you finally sit down, there's a list of services in the mirror, but no prices. Only after i sat in the chair (after 25 minute wait) did i find out that a haircut and shampoo costs $17.

Asked for a pretty simple hair cut and felt like the lady was confident in doing what I had requested. When it was all said and don’t it was not even close to what I asked for. She basically gave me a crew cut and when I asked about the hard part she replied, “I don’t care for hard parts. But if you want it we can do it, I think it looks fine. You could always get one next time.” When I got home she missed spots all over the back of my head. And had to go to another place to get it fixed. The girl who cut my hair was completely unprofessional and couldn’t stop talking about how much she likes to drink. I do not recommend this place at all!!! DONT DO IT!!

I had my hair cut at one of the large chain type hair care places thinking my cut would be super. Well, it was super alright, super bad. I thought I was going to have to break out the clippers and maybe even the bic. Then a friend told me to call Kimberly at Lady Janes. So, I did Here was the deal, I was met by this gorgeous red head, who introduced herself as Kimberly. She fixed my hair cut without the need of a bic!!! I now have a new hair stylist. Her name is Kimberly at Lady Janes. The bonus to having this hottie cut my hair, other than I get to stare at her in the mirror the whole time, is she knows what she's doing. This was my first ( and last time) at Lady Janes. I walked in, sat down, and waited for almost 5 minutes just to be aknowldged . ( If a manager or district manager is reading this, the time stamp on any cameras would be 6:10-6:12 pm I have a white jacket, red tabasco shirt, blue jeans). To verify, there was a girl with brighter red hair, and a girl with blue-green hair working. The red haired girl was giving someone a haircut and the other looked occupied but wasn't cutting anyone's hair at least from what I can tell. Long story short, the doorbell went off when I came in, I made eye contact and smiled, but both girls completely ignored me but where talking back and forth to each other, never said hello, never checked me in for a haircut, I mean NOTHING. I waited until about the 5 minute mark and left. If the customer service is this bad, I was afraid to see the haircut. Again first and last time at this place which is a shame since I work in the same plaza and could have been a regular. I also work on tips so I know how helpful tipping generously is. Back to Floyds 99 by my house...

Stylist apparently didn't listen when I asked for a "clean-up". She just went heavy and gave me a "military style"haircut. Way too close on the sides and too short over all. It's going to take about three-four weeks to begin to fill back in; in the meantime a hat is in order. I first heard about Lady Jane's on AM radio and thought it was worth a try; but was unaware of the subtle up-sell for everything bit the basic haircut. I regret trying Lady Jane's and had more faith in the recommendation of the radio personality who advertises for them. In all good conscience, I cannot recommend Lady Jane's, there are many better places in Colorado Springs to get a haircut.

I'm very hesitant to try out new stylists unless they come highly recommended and are of the old-school kind. But, presses for time and after an initial phone screening with the stylist, Briana, I decided to entrust Lady Jane's with my hair. The result was well worth it. Not only did my stylist execute a great bald high and tight to keep me in Reg's, she finished it with a straight razor. To top it off she even trimmed up my eyebrows and finished with a much needed peppermint scalp massage with hot towel face wrap. Think what you want, but after a fifty hour work week in the sun and two more days to go this was just what I was needing. Mind you, this isn't an Ergo Salon experience nor a Beardsgaard treatment. But for the price and proximity to my job that one time a month, two weeks a year I simply cannot beat it. Do yourself a favor and get the treatment when you visit.

Seems like an alright place to get a haircut, but don't expect any work with a straight razor. I thought that a place billing itself as a "haircuts for men" establishment would have stylists with a barber license, trained in a staple of men's grooming like straight razors.

Ive had a very good experience, every single time. For the people saying its shady and they dont see pricing, please look to the top left when facing the sign in computer. Thered litterly a massive boad there pointing out the services and costs, as well as mulitple people willing to answer your hearts desires. Janes is busy. Yet everytime ive personally came in ive been greeted and asked if i needed anything. They are very professional and very approachable. Been going exclusively here since the stylists/barbers actually listen to how you want your hair donex and make sure its done well. I would highly reccomend Michelle, as over the past few months has personally shaped and bettered my haircut.

Fng ridiculous I went in there asked for a little longer than finger length on top and a 3 on the sides and fade it in. After 3 barbers I end up walking out of there with my head shaved. It seems like none of them went to barbers school, or even know how to cut hair. I will never ever reconditioned them or go in there again on my life. In fact I'm a little pissed off Google won't let me give them negative star ratings. Honestly I give them a negative 5 stars. Save your self the trouble the aggravation and the money and just shave your own head at home, because these guys don't know the first thing about cutting hair. O e of the easiest haircuts in the world and they still managed to screw it up. My advice run from that place as fast as you can.

Asked for a simple haircut. Came out looking like the flock of seagulls were having a reunion. Girls hands were shaking the entire time. Poked me in the eye numerous times with her finger nails. Told me "I'm still learning how to style men's hair." Are you kidding me?!?! That's your job. Now have to go somewhere else and have them fix it. Worst place in town. I will never be back and will tell everyone on every platform I can to never go there.

My husband ended up with very obviously uneven sideburns, huge missed spots from his shave, and a horrible cut. One stylist said she plays NSFW music to "keep people from bringing their brats." My cut was also very uneven and eyebrows were not done properly. I tipped both stylists in hopes that they go to T&G or PM for better training as we definitely will never be back. Students at local schools are much better and much more deserving of good tips. Horribly ran business with horrible service. Enjoy the hot towel. I hear that's the only good thing to be had.

I had to walk out, waited 30 minutes as a walk-in with only 3 people ahead of me. Someone with an appointment was 15 minutes late, but still got to be first in line. I was told it will be ANOTHER 30 minutes to wait. I asked why its taking so long, the hair stylist said "Blame it on our manager, that didn't come into work today". Right when I thought I found a decent place for a haircut!!!!

I live way south of Lady Jane's, but it's worth the drive if you have a good hairstylist. Alex is courtesy and listens to what you want, not what they want. Husband wanted to try some place new and he was very disappointed. The gal who cut his hair chopped his hair up and that's hard to do using clippers with a guard, he asked her to fix parts of it and still he has areas that are longer then they should be. By the time she got to the straight razor he was ready to leave. Not what he was expecting at all.

My favorite hair stylist in the whole city started working at Lady Jane's a few weeks ago, and it was recently time for my next haircut. So although it was a bit longer of a drive for me, I went to Lady Jane's for the first time two days ago. What a great bunch of people, and a fun atmosphere to boot. You feel immediately welcome. And something I really love? You can make an appointment for a specific time and not worry about having to wait. But of course the best thing of all was my beloved Alex (Alexandria). I will never be handsome (especially at this age), but Alex does make me look my best! She is superb, and she loves working in her new location. If you are looking for a great salon and a superb stylist, make an appointment with Alex at Lady Jane's!

The price was reasonable so I went there for a haircut. I explained how I wanted my haircut. The haircut she gave me was the worst I have ever had. One side was shorter than the other, uneven and too short on the back. She totally ignored what I said. I think it looked like it was cut by someone who did not care about her work. I will never go back.

The first time I went I got my hair cut with Wanda. She was an amazing barber and I loved her but she moved away. The 2nd time the haircut was good but the barber was rough. Third time I went was near close. I don’t know if she just wanted to leave, but she was rushing and I got literally cut all across the back of my neck and the sides of my head by the top of my ears. She also didn’t even out my sideburns. My neck is still red and raw writing this review which is 7 hours after my hair cut.

Cheap clippers, fumbling around Tangled cords, and totally ignored the style I asked for and ended up with way too short of a wanna be military crew cut. At one point she just said I'm gonna cut it this short and just went for it. Back to Floyd's I go!

I'm not quite sure about this place just yet, I felt like I was fresh meat and the vulchars were dying for a haircut? I don't know maybe I'm wrong, but just seemed like that. Good price on a haircut however not one review tells you about the different pricing to get pampered. You could drop some coin if you get the KING treatment. Maybe once in awhile would be nice. The girls cutting are young, and that's nice to see but some guys just want a good haircut and having a hottie do that is nice but to be honest it's not as important as getting your haircut right. I'll change my review after next time.

Absolute garbage! Do not go here! My husband went to get a haircut here for the first time and I'm just shocked at the way they let him leave the salon. The lady had no idea what she was doing. He wanted a low fade and the rest blended. She shaved all of his hair off left the top long and said ok done. And had the nerve to say it looks like the picture. What a joke!

I had been growing my hair out for the past 3 months and would get minor trims here. Last night I told the stylist exactly how to cut it. Well she ended up taking basically all the hair I had grown out off. Completely dissatisfied by this stylist as she would not listen to me when I said do not cut that off. She was talking to someone else....then she up charged me so she could get a bigger tip. If only I could remember her name. But don’t go to the fat white lady with glasses! Horrible horrible place I will never go to again!

Was told first time customers gets who ever is the first in line. Didn't quite understand the motive of having a customer select the stylist then. Got the worst hair cut of my life. Very disappointed in this staff. I used to bring my son for haircuts here very often but recently I came in for him to get a haircut 15 minutes before closing one day. There were about 6 hairdressers who were talking with one another and not working, and when I asked for him to get a haircut they told me that they are closed and asked me them to call them tomorrow. I told them I would call their manager instead. There were still 15 minutes left before closing, 6 hairdressers standing around and they refused to cut my son’s hair which would not have taken them more than 10 minutes!! I am definitely NOT coming back here again and will never recommend this place to anyone.
