I come here every 3 to 4 weeks for a cut and a shave. I have been coming here since I was 21 years old. One of the very few places that does straight razor shaves on my face ( warm lather, hot towel, the works) I very rarely wait, I always enjoy my time there, the environment and staff are superb, and my cut always turns out great. If I'm ever asked about my hair I always make a point to say where I get my hair cut and why I love it so much.

Horrible service! I went in twice. once wile my brother was getting cut then about a week later. Was unsure if I wanted to go back but they did a good job on my brother's hair. so I did. But upon my return just as the last time there was haired on the floor from 4 or 5 previous cuts. The boss was talking openly to a shop of 9 or 10 guest about his other employee was having emergency lady problems. As the other employee who was having said "lady problems " was coming in and out of the back on the phone with the doctor every time she left the room he started back at airing their dirty laundry. Both barber's showed no decorum or professionalism. And to top it off caused repeatedly even in front of children. Will NEVER GO BACK!!!

Walked in with my boyfriend to get his beard trimmed. There was a guy in the chair and 2 waiting. The gal working was young and blond. She didn't acknowledge us until she finished with the guy in the chair and rang him up, which had she been in a conversation with the guy, no big deal, but it was silent in that place. While ringing him up, she was busy texting on her phone and pretty much ignored him too. She called the next guy over, still ignoring us. She left all the hair from the previous guy on the floor and put the same cape on him, then went to the back. We left. I used to work in a salon and was disgusted that she didn't clean up and used the same cape. She was super unprofessional and if she were my employee, she'd be fired. We really wanted to support a small, local business, but with employees like that, we'll take our business elsewhere.

I just moved to Colorado and lucked up on this place. It is awesome. Ken is a great barber and just getting out of the Marine Corps I like my hair a certain way. I told him the regs and he cut it perfect the first time. I went in for my second visit and nothing below excellence. I recommend this great family owned business and he will win you over with the straight razor at the end. It's a dying art but it is far from dead here. Also the atmosphere is great usually a line on Saturdays however the customers are like family and we all talk so the wait doesn't seem long for an outstanding haircut.

My fiance has his hair cut here once a month. The guys working there are so friendly and chatty! The shop is well kept, organized, and clean. They have some great old school decor. Even though they are a small shop, they accept credit cards, with a small additional fee. When my fiance and I stopped in last week, they had a new guy working. He said he had been a barber for 20 years, but he is new to the shop. I was nervous at first, but that barber gave my fiance the best hair cut I've seen! I am so impressed and highly recommend this barber shop!!!!

Many seasoned barbers in this salon, but do NOT find yourself in Allison's chair. She snipped my son's ear! (who suffers from learning/verbal communication disabilites and autism) When he started crying, she asked me to "make him be quiet, or the service was going to be over" me and my family have been coming to this shop for years and have loved it, but I cannot recommend it as long as someone so hostile and unprofessional is working there. Her attitude was disgusting and I can't handle seeing my son treated that way. And on top of all that, the cut was horrible! We got it fixed at Fantastic Sam's. I'm sorry to say this usually great place has lost a customer.

Good old school barber shop, bottom line. Prices are reasonable, décor is barber shop, people are chatty and the barbers are talented. They do not take reservations so depending on the wait, you could be there awhile. What they means to me though is that they take their time with you versus the chain shops that get you out of the chair as fast as possible. Good cut topped off with a straight razored neckline and a warm towel for under $20 and I am a happy camper.

Ivan's is honestly one of the best barbershops that I have been to. As I am pushing 30 with thinning hair, I don't have the time or energy to have a high maintenance hairstyle. I want something that looks professional, is easy to maintain and makes me feel confident. Whereas every shop I have gone to in the past 5 years takes 'business cut with extra on top' to mean a fresh fade with a hard part, Ivan's gave me my first adult-looking haircut in years. Ken really listened, and gave great recommendations. I highly recommend this place: reasonably priced, great service and high quality cuts. Side note: This was also the first shop who, upon hearing that I was not into football, did not try monologue about the F***ing Broncos for 25 minutes. We talked about trucks from the '80's. It was awesome.

Had high hopes, as my brother had a great experience here. Unfortunately I was sat at a chair with a very old woman, whom did not understand men's hair, or beard. I had to have several adjustments all of which took length off my beard and head. I am balding so this is not preferable. Very bad cut. Very bad beard trim. Will not return. I love this barber shop. It has a great owner and the former owner works part time. The know how to cut hair and visit with every customer like they are long time friends. I won't go anywhere else unless they close. Sometimes they are very busy because they only have 3 barbers on staff and not all of them are there everyday. I still don't mind the. wait even though you sometimes wait up to an hour to get a haircut. I still get the best haircuts here and eventually you learn the best times and days to go to miss the crowds. What does this telk you they are so good people are willing to wait for a great haircut!!!
