I made an appointment here to get a haircut and walked in about twenty minutes early, thinking I might get in earlier. I was rudely told not only would I not be getting in early but because the list of walk-ins was so large it would be 30-45 past my appointment time. Really, what’s the point of making an appointment if the walk-ins come first? No thanks I’ll spend my $25 elsewhere.

Their appointment system is a complete failure! Made an appointment for McKenna at 4:30 on a Sunday to avoid any wait. My son checked in telling the front desk at 4:25 saying he had a 4:30 appointment with McKenna. Whether the front didn't tell McKenna or what but it appears McKenna had just taken a walk in minutes before my sone came in. The girl at the front didn't tell us. After about 30 minutes of the walk ins coming and going, my son went back to the front desk to see if someone else could cut his hair. 10 minutes later they had someone else cut it. Meanwhile, McKenna was still cutting away on someone who did not have a 4:30 appointment. Do not rely on the appointment system or the front desk managing the process. Very disappointing. If my son wanted to wait 45 minutes to go back for a hair cut, I would have had my son just walk in! UPDATE: They apologized and comp'd my sons haircut.

It's a nice place, very hip, but it's not worth the wait or the price. If you want to hear some good music while you get your haircut, I'd recommend it. Pass on the complimentary shoulder massage, they basically busy out a vibrator on lay it on your shoulders. Want worth it, when being free.

We stopped at Floyd's for my son while visiting Colorado from Florida. My kids and husband loved the music decor all over the barbershop walls. My son was taken very quickly as a walk-in and the lady who cut his hair took her time and did a great job. My son (17 years old) even said it was the best haircut he has had!

I've been to this location twice. The first was as a walk-in and Stephanie was my stylist. She was friendly and professional. When she finished, I was very happy. Today was my second visit and we had a nice conversation. She was very personable. Again, I am very pleased . She took great care in her work. I will be going back.

These folks will lower your ears! Do you want some scissors near your head!? Then come to Floyd's! I promise they don't bite, and they won't cut you where you don't want them to! Unless you're into that! The place is outta control with wall decorations! It's so visual in here I don't have enough to look at! So many posters of famous people, musicians, actors, some people, and some paper with photos of people! They Dona good job of cutting those dead cells off your head, you don't need them so come here! They'll shampoo that dead mop and you will feel alive! Electrified as that water runs through your hair! So why would I go anywhere else? When they're closed! Duh! Make sure you book an appointment here because they are buuuuuuusy busy bees just snipping away! Get in line! Grab a bear and bring it over to Wendy's and get sloshed! Well all have a good time!

I've lived in Monument my whole life and have been to most of the barbers in town. I settled for mediocre haircuts for years where they got you in and out in 20 minutes. Just cut and go. Then I went to Floyd's. I've been going for about 6 months now and it is always a treat whenever I go. All the stylists and barbers are excellent. They make sure every hair is just how you want it, no matter the hassle. To some sitting in a chair for an hour to get a simple haircut (Special props to Tyler!) may st excessive but it is exactly the work ethic and quality that makes Floyd's so great. I definitely reccomend them.

I’ve been to the shop on N Academy but it is so busy! (Shout out to Victoria there though because she’s awesome!) At this location, everything from making my appointment over the phone to getting my hair done was excellent! Stephanie cut my hair and did a great job on the fade! She and the staff provided a quality experience that is well-worth the drive up north!!!

The wait is not worth the cut. Not sure why a simple finger length on top and a 2 guard on the sides is so difficult for these guys. Couldn't blend or provide an even cut to save their edgy lives. Smh. Might as well save the cash and use Supercuts as the quality is the same.

Went in today and asked the stylist to keep the length on top but cut the sides down to a 5. She ended up cutting about an inch off the top and shaved the sides up way too high, leaving a small patch of long hair on top. I guess her version of blending is using the same razor length as the sides. So thanks to whoever that was for making my head look like an Air Pod. The stylist also cut my side burns almost to a point and left a patch of long hair in the back. She also cut my neck. Worst haircut I’ve ever had. Did she even work there? Seriously what the hell?!

Two very different experiences from two visits. The atmosphere is typical of any Floyd's. The prices are definitely fair given the service you'd expect. Highly recommend you stick with your stylist if you have a good experience.

Floyd's require your contact information. No... you cut my hair and I give money! Then I leave and repeat next month. I'm not paying a vendor to slam my inbox, mailbox and phone with offers. So what was going to be 36ish hair cuts a year (me and my two sons) is now 0 hair cuts. Response to owner: If it's not required why does your staff argue with the client about providing it. A simple "No, you do not need my information" should be sufficient.

I went to my normal salon to get a balayage and it ended up horrible. Like horizontal lines all around my hair, horrible. I went to Floyd’s and saw Tania. She was AMAZING! She paid so much attention to detail. She fixed the failure from the other salon, and made my hair look amazing. She truly takes pride in her work. If you need a color, bleach, balayage, etc. go see her!

They give good haircuts. My son and I have both gone there several times and have always been pleased. Two problems, however: (1) it is not cheap. A hair cut plus tip is about $35. (2) Even if you make an appointment, there usually is a significant wait. Yesterday I had a 2 pm appointment. I arrived on time and waited for 10 minutes. Then I asked: "How much longer is it going to be?" The receptionist lady replied that "We are waiting for someone to become available." I understand having to wait when you are a walk-in, but not when you have made an appointment. I walked out and probably will do business elsewhere going forward.

Have had several beard trims around the area without any luck finding someone who could cut it the way I liked. Figured I would give Floyd's a shot and i'm glad I did, Ronni H did a great job and I am more than happy with the cut I received. The price was right and the wait was minimal. Will absolutely be going back on the regular.

Awesome rock n roll posters and cool music aside, these guys know what they're doing with a pair of scissors. Customer service was friendly, my stylist listened to me (which seems like a luxury compared to a lot of places out there!) and she gave helpful advice too. Good when it’s not too crowded. I don’t suggest coming when moms are endlessly bringing their kids in. Otherwise the staff is great and friendly and they know what to do. I would get an appointment in advance though, because sometimes there’s a wait for walk-ins.

As much as I loved the girl who did my hair, once my hair dried I realized it was a complete mess. I had to go through and align my bangs and fix my front layers. I literally had to cut my own hair to fix what she did. My boyfriend got his hair cut as well and his was fantastic. They did really well. Customer service was great. I just hate that I had to cut my own hair after I paid to get it cut.

I walked in with my son at your new location on Voyager. Needless to say I walked right out after being totally disrespected by the person behind the counter. He was rude, snappy and condescending. This was simply to schedule a hair appointment to come back in 45 minutes. Your a new store in my neighborhood..way to alienate potential new customers and neighbors..We walked down to Sportsclips. They got us right in without having to put up with harassment in front of my son..

All I can say is wow. I had this place recommended to me by a friend and I was not disappointed. I made an appointment for a haircut and was astonished at how great of a job they did even when I want really sure how I wanted my haircut. The person cutting my hair took her time, checked with me often regarding preference, and did an outstanding job. The price was really good for all that she did and I found it to be cheaper than some of the hit and run places in town. Overall, I can now say I have a new favorite place to get a haircut.

Staff was friendly. Walked in and was quoted 20min...but they were ready for us before we even sat down. Moved here 2yrs ago and have tried various places. Every haircut my son has had he has disliked and many times been almost in tears. This was the first time he was all smiles and actually loved it!! Say Perry did a great job!! He was great with my son and listened to what he wanted. Will definitely be back to see Say!!
