My husband paid $50 for a hair cut and to get his beard shaped and ended up getting razor bumps EVERYWHERE. Clearly they're not cleaning their equipment very well and I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone.

Was recommended to come here one day since my usual barbershop was flooded and I couldn't get an appointment for a month. My coworker recommended Cornelius, and I was easily able to set up an appointment for the following day. He gave me one of the best hair cuts I've ever gotten! Since he is the only barber I've had experience with here, I cannot speak for the rest of the staff. The cut he gave me was so top notch, that I now sometimes prefer Floyds as opposed to my usual barber. Prices are very fair, as well

Went in for a haircut a beard trim for a wedding. Ended up leaving with a bloody neck and had to shave my head. The place used to be a great place to go. It seems they do not have anyone there that can actually cut hair. Dont even waste your money. You can get a better haircut at a place like Fanny Sam's or ultracuts.

Yvette is the best! Got my hair and 2 kids' hair colored and cut. She was professional and just a great stylist to talk to during the sessions. She talked everything over with the kids so they knew what was happening as well. Dope decorations, brings back lots of nostalgia for me. And I love that this shop has stylists of literally every shape and color; no one was put in a box or forced to wear stuffy uniforms that may take away from their creativity. Loved it, this and Yvette is my go-to place from now on.

I did their call ahead for a hair cut and showed up within 15 minutes and checked in. Never was I told about a long wait on the phone or in person ( this is NOT the first time the receptionist failed to communicate this). I went to ask about 1 hour after my call and she proceeded to tell me that 1 more person was waiting and that their was a lot on the call ahead list. She said she tells people About the wait and I let her know she failed to communicate she this twice but seems to have ample amount of time to play with her fidget spinner.....the "someone will be with you shortly" is not a great way to tell someone it's going to be another hour.::::

Do not get a haircut by Alexandra!! Wait was no problem... Her skills and customers service definitely were!! I showed her pictures so she would know exactly what I wanted. Kept having to ask her to cut more layers. She was more concerned with who was walking through the door rather than giving a haircut. My hair makes no sense!!! Looks like the back was cut but not the sides or front.!! I gave it over a week thinking maybe it would get better. NNNOOO!!! I would never... Go back there again!!! And definitely not to her! It was a short cut with lauers.. how can you go that wrong...!! However... My daughter.. got her hair cut by Dillon, and he did a fantastic job!!! Good job Dillon!! UPDATED 10/25/18 Kelly with Floyd's contacted me as well as Devyn, mangr. For the cinima point location to come in to make it right. Devyn was absolutely fantastic!!! Love my cut, her personality and perseverance!!! It took only half hour and I left finding myself not able to wipe the smile off my face!!! She definitely redeemed!!! I would give 1 star but I'm happy with the fade. Hair isnt cut how I wanted it cut and I couldn't judge it right away because it was a comb over which is not what I wanted. Theres no way to style my hair because it wasnt cut right. Looks like almost nothing was done to my beard. Would not recommend this place if you want anything expect a fade.

Not a great first experience/impression of Floyd’s. It is apparent the customer’s time is not valued at all. What’s the point of being able to make an appointment if it is not honored? Not even 2 minutes before my scheduled appointment time, I watched someone get in the chair of the barber whom my appointment was scheduled with; why didn’t she or the lady at the front say she has a different appointment. Then after the barber is done with that person’s hair cut, it is now 25 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, and another person gets pulled into the chair, and their concierge/counter girl/greeter watched it happen, and just said sorry we are busy right now. A lot of people are busy; I had somewhere to be at 8:30 and needed to have a nice haircut, but now I don’t have a haircut at all, because I didn’t have time to wait another hour to get my haircut and miss my appointment altogether. It is apparent that the customer’s time is not valued at Floyd’s. Disappointing.

I have always enjoyed my experience at Floyd's 99. Kendall A. has been my barber/stylist for more years than I can count! She is dedicated to her clients and always attentive to my needs. Kendall has an artist's touch with color. She always make my hair look natural and dimensional. She is also meticulous and precise when cutting my hair. It looks wonderful, has great body, and keeps its shape even after it has grown out. The compliments I receive from my coworkers and family, about my hair, make me feel confident and amazing. Kendall has never let me down.

My family is new to the area & all 4 of us have had the opportunity to use the services at Floyd's in which we have been satisfied. However, upon arriving at Floyd's on 02/05 @ 8:45 am not realizing they didn't open till 9am. My husband & I were waiting outside when we saw a young man walk in. I told my husband he can leave as he had an appointment to get to & I would wait inside until my appointment. When I walked in there were two women behind the counter & the younger one told me I couldn't come in. I explained to her that because the doors were open & we saw someone else come in I told my husband he could leave & because it was cold & windy outside I would appreciate being able to sit inside. She again told me I couldn't wait inside as they were counting their till. I assured her I was not going to take their money & she again said I couldn't wait inside. I told her I had an appointment at 9am that she could cancel & I would not be back.. I understand procedure, but we were talking 10 minutes & if they were so concerned about their till why did they have the doors open.. I would never go back there.

Iv been to floyd's 3 times i like to travel to diffrent places to trim my beard trim my hair and get a straight razor for my neck and face first time i went there it was up beat got to be seen quickly they said they didnt have a barber at the moment but me and my gf were in a rish so i said it was ok i got kristen w she was new there at the time but she did freakin fantastic she took very good care of everything i needed and gave me good advice on products for my beard i loved it my gf loved it it was great so down the line i came again but this time i called ahead coming from canon made my app told them i wanted a barber this time they said they have one ready ricky i think but when i got there for the appointment they said i didnt have an appoimtment then kristen came right as i got there so they said she could do i told them i asked for a barber they said they had no one but kristen did great the first time i was irritated but i knew she could do it so she did it but its an up beat place very friendly wait time is ok my son loved it the 3rd time i went they just need to have barbers and available and get the system checked or make sure there customer is checked in and has what they wantstylest barber ect.....

Sometimes it takes a bit of patience to wait for an appointment, but I think it is worth it. I brought my son here, he saw Phoebe. She did an awesome job on his haircut. We will be returning because when we go other places, it just isn't as good. This salon has rock star scenery, great music, and friendly staff.

Great haircuts but expect a long wait. It doesn't matter if you make an appointment they will not help you on time, or even in a timely manner. The price is also high $27 for a haircut. At locals barber shop you get a beer and they are cheaper, faster, and the haircuts are just as nice. Also every time I called they put me immediately on hold, which is incredibly rude.

Long/Mid size Hair people BEWARE!! Been twice both times were horrible experiences. First time a few year ago I received a haircut and the stylist botched my hair BIG TIME. I'm pretty forgiving so after a few years I decided to go back again and made sure I didn't get the same stylist. I was pretty specific and showed pictures this time of what I wanted exactly. A little shorter than usual but no clippers or razor and anything like that - only scissors were my instructions. So I gave instructions - they were ignored and I processed to receive a short military-style haircut. The clippers turned on and quickly went to work before I could stop her. At least the 2nd stylist was personable unlike the first one. They cut your hair facing out and away from the mirror the whole time and only turn you around to see what you've been given. My wife says I'm pretty passive when i comes to barbers and should be more forceful and say things like "HEY stop - what are you doing??" Or should have said - I said NO CLIPPERS. Never again going back.

First let me say, I wanted to really like this barbershop, but couldn’t. There is definitely nothing “spectacular” about this place and it is way too expensive. I spent $24 on a halfway decent haircut. I can get the same haircut for half the price down the street. I wouldn’t recommend.

Just wanted to get a haircut. Walked in, couldn't be helped because I didn't have an appointment and the person greeting me couldn't run the computer so that meant I had to wait for someone to maybe return from the bathroom (or maybe not cuz the other person didn't know for sure where the reception girl went). When did things get so complicated that we can't just walk in and wait for a damned haircut? It was the easiest thing in the world, then we had to bring technology into GETTING A HAIRCUT and look, we can't even get a haircut. Don't worry, I won't be back.

I decided to try them again and Kendal was the one to cut my hair. She did so so amazing I still cut my hair with her to this day, 2 years later!!! I’ve been coming to Floyd’s for about the past year and for the most part my experience has been good. But today, one of the stylists walked in drinking a white claw (an alcoholic beverage with malt liquor) and I was genuinely so uncomfortable that I didn’t end up communicating well how I wanted my hair cut and walked out very disappointed with the length and fade. I should mention that my stylist wasn’t the one drinking on the job and wasn’t really responsible for my poor experience. Also this was at about 1030am which, not that it makes it and better or worse, but indicates to me that the stylist likely continues to drink throughout the day and has an issue that could affect other customers’ experiences.

Don’t bother wasting your time with an appointment. They don’t honor appointment times or appointments with specific barbers. Just walk in at 15 after or 15 before the hour and take the spot of someone that scheduled. The shop runs on headcounts, don’t expect this issue to change. Just go somewhere else if you prefer to schedule or keep the same barber.

It would have been different if one of the FOUR employees standing around BSing actually communicated to us that the wait time was going to take us past the time our appointment was scheduled for. First and last time we use a chain barbershop.

I've been in once every two weeks for the past year and a half. I've had Vanessa Martinez each time and I always walk away really happy with my haircut. She is easy to talk to and listens to what I want in a haircut, but also does a great job of making new suggestions for beard trimming or slight changes in my style. Overall, Floyds is a great place but Vanessa Martinez makes the visit amazing!

Just moved to the CO Springs area from Dallas, TX and decided to take a chance on a new stylist at this location. Kendall was great, patient, and had a killer attention to detail. The rest of the staff was very kind and welcoming as well. The call-ahead system was very convenient, and their music playlist isn't bad either. All in all, a phenomenal experience. This location is going to be my regular spot from now on.

A fade is not just shaving hair with a razor, by the way don’t just assume the type of haircut a customer wants, specially a first timer, communication should be about the hair style they want and not about what isn’t happening in their lives, also learn how to make measurements, I’m hoping all workers graduated high school and at least have a knowledge of lengths.
