Call ahead appointments are a joke. Sat waiting 20 minutes today for my "appointment" and walked out. The haircut should have only taken 10 minutes. On top of it the haircuts are a 50/50 shot at being terrible. When the only thing going for you is convenience and you can't do that lose a customer. Never again with this place.

I've been here twice and both times were atrocious (two different stylists). Usually when you walk into a barbershop with a hat on, you leave with it off. You should be proud of the haircut you just received. I'm glad I bought a new hat, I will need it. $30 for this...

I drive a tour bus for a band and we were doing a show at the Pepsi Center. This was the first time I had ever been to Floyds and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. Sarah gave me one of the best cuts and beard trims I’ve ever received. I’ve visited a lot of barbershops across the country and she by far gave me the best service I’ve ever had. When you go, ask for Sarah! You definitely will not be disappointed.

They other Floyd’s my husband goes to in Springs is great when we visit family. This one is literally so rushed the cut his sideburns crooked and different lengths. His fade only lasted about week and the back of his neck was crooked too. He goes to another barbershop in when in Denver now.

I have been a client of Floyds - Champa since they have opened over a decade ago. Usually, I can get it, get a good cut, and get out. But my last experience was horrible. I was a walkin and I felt like I was snatched by Erica M. The reason I thought I was snatched is that another employee gave Erica a dirty look. Once in the chair, Erica brushed off my instructions and quickly proceeded to chop my hair. After a specific point, I understood it was no point to say anything because it was too short. During the cut, she was bad mouthed Floyd's barbershop and how they cannot keep one manager at the Champa location. How everyone is lazy, and she is the hardest working person at that location. (Tip: you need to listen to customers, not the other way. Also, you should pay attention to the haircut instead of running your mouth) After chopped hair, terrible conversation, and $24 I have to wear a hat for the New Year. There were times when going to Floyds meant quality, but now there are just disgruntled hair butchers. Pay your people better or get better talent because I am done; you have lost a long time customer.

Been to a few Floyd's branches in Denver, and this is my favorite. I never have to wait long (30 mins max), the stylists are all knowledgeable and easy to work with, and the rates are affordable. I've been going to the same spot for almost two years now!

11:40am on Friday 11-1-19 came in with a buddy, he was trying to be nice but the lady at the desk was being rude ( white, short dark hair, glasses, gauge style ear piercing and a tat of thinning scissors on her right wrist) he asked for a quick hair cut and she said " that's the most annoying thing when people ask for a quick haircut" pretty lame customer service. It's down town denver people dont have an hour to burn to get a hair cut. I guess it didn't fit her schedual even though hes a paying customer. Wont be back.

Overall, it was mediocre. I wouldn't suggest going to get your hair done on a Friday afternoon here. I still have plenty of missed spots with my full highlight. I think my stylist has great potential and does an amazing job other than on Friday afternoons when they are thinking about their weekend plans.

Had an issue today, walked in and got sat almost immediately which was nice. Told the stylist I was flying out to a wedding and needed a trim and a shave. She did really quick work. Beard shave was really quick and uneven. My sideburns were completely uneven, off by at least a half inch. She seemed annoyed by my very presence.. was not a great experience. They had her tucked in the back corner.. maybe this is why.

Went to get a haircut today at Floyd's, and had a fantastic experience. It had been a while since I had a haircut so I came in looking very scruffy. I didn't really know what I wanted to do, so my barber, Cooper, helped me find a style that I liked. Once she has a good idea of what I wanted she handled it all from there and completely transformed my look. I've never walked out of a haircut feeling this confident. I would highly recommend this location. If you are lucky enough to have Cooper cut your hair, it will be the best cut you have in Denver. Cooper paid great attention to detail and took the quality time do a fantastic cut and make the experience enjoyable.

Great hair cut, but the guy cutting my hair kept pushing his crotch into my shoulder which made me somewhat uncomfortable. The hair cut hower is awesome.... so I dunno. Would go back, but maybe less crotch to shoulder action?

The barbershop itself is probably 3 stars because of the front desk folks, but I rated it 5 stars because of Leticia. Leticia is exceptionally professional and is excellent at cutting hair. She has been cutting my hair for 8 months and I won’t see any one else.

Worst place to do a haircut and beard trim. He just trimmed my beard for 10 seconds(it was already trimmed 4 days ago) and charged 10 bucks. Didn't shape moustache and beard. 39 dollars for this bad service.

I wandered by this Floyd's location during a day of errands. Since I had some extra time I figured I would stop in and get a quick haircut. I was immediately struck by the style of the business, which was bustling but well-organized. I also really appreciated the music, as you can't go wrong with The Ramones. The young woman that cut my hair was courteous and very professional, she listened to what I liked in a haircut and pretty much nailed it. They also do hot towels and a straight razor shave which are usually the sorts of features you have to ask for. I'll definitely go back to them in the future.

Floyd's is a solid place to get a haircut in the city without breaking the bank. I usually walk out spending less than $30, tip included (if they don't convince me to buy any product). Would give it 5 stars, but sometimes consistency is lacking a bit unless you nail down a stylist and make appointments with that specific person.

I have been visiting several barbershops over the course of the last six months. I admit, it is difficult to find just the right barber (so... I am a picky one). Anyway, I needed a haircut and saw Floyd's off of the 16th street mall. I had never visited one before and thought I would give it a shot. I work just down the street and had seen this location several times before. It is a pretty lively kind of place, much louder than I appreciate. Regardless I put my name on the list and waited. There was definitely a wait, the place was packed. I felt comfortable with that many people waiting, must mean it is worth the wait, right? Let me tell you... it is! I was greeted by Dana who then took me and more consulted with me about what kind of cut I was looking for. Not only was she fast, but I my hair looked fantastic. Six months it took me to find my new barber and I think my persistence paid off. I will definitely be coming back and requesting Dana next time! I have already recommended my good friend to go here as he was having the same issue (we used to have the same barber who moved several months ago).

They do a decent cheap hair cut. You get what you pay for. It certainly isn't a salon experience, or even a nice barber shop experience. They are alright though and if I'm in a rush to get a cut, ill go here sometimes. Go to aveda if you want a nice cheap hair cut.

My barber was nice but she gave me a pretty bad haircut. I asked for a standard fade on the sides and longer hair on top. She didn't know how to do a fade and only cut one side of the top and left the other side much longer. It was pretty clear she didn't know what she was doing.
