Flashback barber focuses on detail and gives a great haircut! Robert did exactly what I asked him and took care of me. I strongly recommend him for anyone who's looking for a great haircut! I definitely will never change places again!

Good prices and includes a punch card. I have not been disappointed with any haircuts or found any stray strands of hair. The barbers are friendly and fast. It definitely is a barbershop and not a salon. They do a great fade!

Told the lady how to cut my sone hair. She talked him into a fade. She messed up the fade. Stylist need to understand that parents pay for the cut and we decide how to cut his hair. Not her. We won't go back.

Mile High Hustle

Flashback is a great experience. Locally-owned and operated, this shop takes you back to an era where barbers truly cared about their work and paid close attention to the small details. Flashback is clean, well-lit and has that touch of class that great barbershops should have. While waiting, the owner may offer you a free soda while you relax and chat with other patrons or watch one of the flat screens showing sports or news. I have yet to try their shoeshine service, but look forward to it. Making an appointment is recommended if you need to come on the weekend, which can be done over the phone or online (requires registration and is a bit cumbersome). Service is fast and thorough. There are only 4-5 barbers, but from what I can tell, all offer a great haircut with a hot-lather straight razor neck shave and warm towel treatment (& neck massage if you like). The one thing I think they could add is some more men's hair & shave products. Be sure and get the free frequent loyalty punch card

Solid barbers, but very unpunctual. Scheduled appointments through the shop’s website, and on several occasions, with various barbers, I would wait 10+ minutes past my scheduled time. The final straw for me was yesterday, I was crunched for time, scheduled my appointment for 1p, and the barber was at lunch past 1:10p. I left, never to return. You would think for the price, the shop and it’s barbers would respect the customer’s time, but not at this barbershop.

I took my kids here after being fed up with all of the children's hair cut shops around town. Flashback Barbershop was wonderful with my two kids (ages 4 and 7) and both barbers gave my boys excellent haircuts - They took their time, didn't rush through it just because they are kids. We've been back 2 times since and they have gotten fantastic haircuts every time! Highly recommended for kids and adults.

I was excited to see this barbershop. It had all the qualities of being me go to place. I had a terrible bad haircut. I have had $7.00 haircuts that were better. Now, part of the blame might of been mine as it was about 6:10 and they close at 6:30, so my barber might of been in a hurry to close. I do not think that I will be back, but my hair will and I will go to a different barbershop.

The place was classy, but overpriced. The haircut I got wasn’t even close to what I asked for. The lady worked hard at it, but surely didn’t understand what a classic block cut was. I asked for it to be short on the top and it was very long. I would have had her attempt to fix it, but getting to that point took way too long. On a good note, I loved the hot towel and the straight razor. That is why I went there in the first place.

If you’re looking for an old fashioned barber shop that takes their time and gives you the best possible cut then come here, it will take 45 minutes of being pampered and feeling special. If you want a haircut that takes 15-20 minutes and you get whatever it is that you paid for then look elsewhere. Whenever you pay for time within a barbers bay you are paying for them to sculpt the crown that you wear upon you’re head for the next 3-4 weeks. I recommend Mandy for the razor fades. She molds my head as if it were made of clay. And it grows out handsome. I cut my hai every 4 weeks and and enjoy every visit. If you want an experience that an old school barber offers then visit flashback. If you want a young girl to give you a 12 minute cut followed by a 10 minute head massage for a tip then find a fantastic sams

This is the best barbershop in the City, hands down. The little things they do here is what sets them apart. I always call ahead. First thing I notice when I walk in is each barber is standing at their chair waiting for their customer. I've been to other barbershops in town where it seems like you are an inconvenience to them (Floyd's). This place makes it feel like they appreciate your business and are thankful you chose them. I've only had Ricky cut my hair, and he does a great job. The other fellas in the shop seem to take the same pride in their work as Ricky from what I can tell. The man at the front desk (I assume the manager) is pleasant, greets me at the door every time and asks me if I am satisfied with my haircut each time I leave. I'm extremely loyal to places that treat me well and take customer service to heart. This is the place for that. Not only will I continue to support this business, but I will make sure and recommend them to everyone I know. Professionalism and customer service matter, and this place gets it.

Received haircut from Ricky, was a David Beckham type cut. Heavy texturing and thinning with a close to skin fade. What I ended up with was a very uneven, more high and tight look. Asked for more texture and thinning then it became lopsided. Would not go to this place if you are looking for true skill.

Went in for a regular haircut, explained exactly what I needed to my barber. I have a disability that makes me stagger and slur my words, and I guess they thought I was drunk. Whatever the reason, I sat in that chair for thirty minutes while my barber, the only black man in the shop, combed my hair and was very quiet. When he handed me the mirror I noticed everyone in the shop staring - that man had given me a mullet!!! I couldn't even speak I was so mad. I paid the bill - and left a tip - and drove straight to SuperCuts who followed the same instructions and gave me a great haircut.

A good friend of mine once said you buy cheap, you buy twice. This establishment is the apex of getting what you pay for. I could get a factory style cut on Post or come here, this is the place. A real barber shop. My son had his first real barber cut here and cried when he got OUT of the chair. If little man likes it you know it must be good.

So this is what it's like to be a well groomed man! Flashback barbershop is an experience, not a haircut! James has created a fantastic environment for men to experience the nostalgia of an old time barber shop experience with the luxury of modern comfort that I greatly appreciate. His barber, Neil, not only gave me a great haircut, but he ended it with a thorough razor cut to my neck to my sideburns and even over the ears and temples. Top that off with a hot towel, and it's one of the best barbershop experiences I have ever had. I really hope James' inspiration and re-creating the old time barbershop really takes root in Colorado Springs. I can't wait till they get straight razors and traditional shaving products in! Neil... My wife was pleasantly surprised by the "love potion"! (Egyptian shaving oil) Thanks for the experience guys!
