Today a very strange and dangerous incident took place with me. I usually ask for the barber to use a trimmer but this time he was going to use the razor. The razor was placed in a solution (supposedly a disinfectant). I politely asked if he can replace it with a new one. He refused and used a trimmer instead. It is a major health risk to use a razor on more than one client. These disinfectants are meant for bacteria mainly and not viruses! I urge this business to review the policy regarding protection against blood pathogen exposure. You should also be aware of this issue and raise a concern next time you are in a barber shop.

The worst experience I've ever had. The gal cutting my hair smelled of smoke, the chair leaned, and I had to find another barber the next day to fix the line around my head. It's cash only and I gave her a 50 and she couldn't break it. No shampoo or straight razor. I expected a barber shop to offer those things otherwise I would go to great clips. Finally, she had on real housewives and I don't know of any guy in a barber shop that would want to watch that garbage. I will never return.

My boyfriend went in this afternoon for a haircut and the stylist didn't listen to a word he said. She ended up giving him what looks like a buzzcut and claimed it was a number 4. He wasn't able to correct her or say anything about it because the first cut she made was straight down his head. Afterwards, he tried to explain that this wasn't the cut he had asked for and she was completely unprofessional about it. It was a waste of time and money. I could have given him a better haircut myself and I am nowhere near a licensed professional. I'd advise anyone who is looking for a barber to look elsewhere.

I haven't been to a barber since 2004. I started cutting my own hair during that deployment since I had only one style: #1 on the clipper and a razor on the neck. Pretty easy. I was recently involved in a car crash and broke wrist and hand bones. I decided to try Elite on a whim since it was on my way home and close to where I needed to be to do a few things. This is a classy place. Very professional, friendly and courteous staff. Did a nice job at a great price. Kudos! Granted, I have a pretty easy cut but they did it better than I could have hands down. Highly recommended.

Updated.I hate doing this, but... you have to be careful who cuts your hair here. I've gotten the best haircut ever here before, and, recently, the worst. This is objective because my female friends just asked me why I cut my own hair this time. 3 of them. Seperately. That's... harsh, but hey, objective. Right? My last haircut there was a 5. This was a 1... so-- 3 star review. Pro tip: As you walk in, pick one of the first two chairs (father and daughter) or the 3rd chair and avoid the 4th chair guy. Another way to look at it: Stay East, avoid West.

I came in for a cut and a shave. She was the only barber in the shop so I didn’t mind the wait. She did a great job on the cut, no problems there but during the cut several other customers came in the store. I feel like reminding her about the shave and the waiting customers mind have rushed her. I got one of the fastest, roughest shaves in my life. Several nicks and the neck is still red and painfully irritated. I feel that had she not rushed it would have been just fine, but this was just not a pleasant experience. Again, good cut, bad shave.

I've been going to this barber intermittently for about two years. Price: Probably the most affordable in town. Currently 20$ / cut and I typically leave a 5$ tip. Fantastic for times you need to look presentable and on a budget. Customer Service: Since the shop runs on walk-ins only. The service is pretty fast, dependent of the day you decide to visit. They have a staff of mostly gentlemen who are pretty relaxed. If you're in for just a cut, they're pretty quick. 15-30 mins is the usual time they spend with each customer. Quality of the cut: In the two years, I've been able to get a cut form each barber and here's where it gets pretty "hit-n-miss". I typically get a #1 low fade with a finger-length cut on top. Nothing too fancy. I've had outstanding haircuts in which I leave very content with my haircut. However, depending on who you get, it's obvious some show attention to detail and passion for their work, while others don't seem to deliver, making the quality of work inconsistent. With inconsistency brings me to essence of going to a Master Cuts at this point. Nothing wrong with Master Cuts, however, if you're looking for consistency in quality and maintaining a particular look, it's not the best option. Part of building clientele is consistency. Recently I've gone in for a haircut and the last three times have been a complete disappointment. My fade was fine, but the finger-length cut on top was almost "butchered". Lengths ranged from complete miss cuts to parts of my hair being shorter than finger length. I didn't mention the mistakes I saw in my cut at the time, even though I should of. I really didn't want to call him out so I paid my 20$ + 5$ tip and left. I hope you find this post as constructive criticism. I always support local businesses however it can get tricky. Please, whoever runs the place, discuss ways to improve in the quality of cuts. Maybe set up some time for additional training. I really would hate to remove another local shop off my list in Longmont, but after three failed visits, I won't be stopping by anytime soon.

The first time coming here, I was given a nice haircut by one of the guys in there. Good price, sides of my hair were nicely faded and the top was cleaned up very well. The second time however, my barber was one of the ladies. She did not seem very focused on cutting my hair as she was talking to who I would assume is one of the regulars. The cut only took about 15 minutes, and it’s been the fastest I’ve ever been in a hair place. She also made a terrible mistake in a design I wanted in my side, a simple straight line. The line seemed to go 45 degrees higher than I wanted, which many people told me it looked like a scar. About three weeks after the cut, my top is messy and my sides were obviously not worked on enough, since my hairs seem to pop out recently. Overall, I’d avoid this specific barber I had, but I’m going to be taking my business elsewhere in Columbia where I believe there’s better places to go to get a haircut.

I am very happy to have Lorena cut my son's and husband's hair. Both of them get taper fades and it was so hard to find someone locally who can give a fresh good cut. They both love the way their hair looks and are always happy with the results. The price is similar to most barber shops, but you get way more quality. The decor is very peaceful, and very welcoming. There's also some deals for military, senior's, and father son deals. Sometimes while I'm at it, I get a hair trim myself. Highly, highly recommend this place.

Yes, I witnessed that parking lot incident, and I can definitely say that you should be careful going in there. It made me uncomfortable to see two kids screaming and approaching the stranger's car, I almost called the police but luckily the couple driving the car got out and walked away before the harrasing pair could hurt them. This may not have anything to do with the quality of haircuts they give, but I believe you should put your money into local business where the employees are civil and respectful.

I have gone through many barbers these past couple of years and I think I found the right spot. I don't remember his name (the one in the first chair) sorry! Cut my hair. I asked for a simple mid bald fade with the line shaved in and my barber nailed it. Yes, it's a very popular cut for most barbers, but the ones I have gone to in the past screwed it up. Their staff is friendly, the cut was cheap ($17 I believe), and you get that barber shop experience when you walk in and as you walk out of the shop. And it's near Mad Cow (Best burgers in COMO)!

I have been going to this barbershop on a weekly basis for the last 15yrs and will never go anywhere else for a haircut. If your lucky enough to catch the owner Orvile make sure to let him cut your hair, just make sure you carve out enough time to chat with him because he loves to talk. I can't say enough good things about this place, the barbers here are all close to my wife and our family owned business and I can honestly say I consider them like family
