I found Barbers of 1907 by chance in my neighborhood. Brook cut my hair for the first time today. I have very difficult hair to cut due to my multiple cowlicks and hair that lies in different directions. The best haircut I have had in the metro area. I know I have been to 6 different shops in the past 3 years. There are no gimmicks here just great service. Brook's attention to details and his craft is amazing. I asked for a low fade pompadour and that's what I received. Not a bald fade nor a disastrous mess. Barbers of 1907 is truly an old school barbershop with a great vibe, wonderful product selection and the skills to cut hair. Do not hestitate for one moment to make the drive to south Federal. You will never say again, "It's hair. It'll grow back."

There’s ersatz and then there’s authentic. Some men’s hair salons try to impress you with boxing, other sports themes or an excess of fake wood paneling and polished brass. Barbers of 1907 doesn’t need any of that. It’s AUTHENTIC right down to the not too fancy decor, great banter with NYC accented proprietor Riley and the picture of Al Capone being barbered by one of Riley’s ancestors. Barbering is not a franchised fantasy at this place. Barbering is in Riley’s blood. He is passionate about barbering — not paying franchise fees to some corporate HQ. Riley knows what he’s doing when it comes to tonsorial affairs and his new addition to the staff, Nicole, is equally skilled at cutting men’s hair. Hair, beard, shaving, coloring, they do it with an old school style that propels you back in time before political correctness took the fun out of humor and when a good haircut, a cold drink and a good laugh could be had at the same time.

Just like every man needs to have a mechanic he can trust, a pizza place he'd fight for, or a plumber who would show up in the middle of the night, every man needs that in a barber. Look no further. I've been going for about six months now and to think I thought I was getting a good haircut before... Even my girlfriend is amazed! I've been getting trimmed by Riley and Brook for a little over three years now; I was lucky to have found them before they had the incredible opportunity to open their own shop. Both are amazing artists of their craft and I can't recommend them enough. If you're reading this, give them a try and don't worry about having to find another barber again.

I've known Riley for about 16 or 17 months now. I've followed him around from shop to shop. Go in about once or twice a month to get my beard trimmed. And I've known Brook for about 7 months both do amazing work. Go in and they'll help you out!! I posted the review up above a month or so ago. And I originally gave them a five but had to drop it down to a 4 only because every time I call now to make a appointment they say they are booked months out. It's good that they are successful but sad that they don't have time for there old loyal clients!

Completely ruined a year of work in taming curly hair, rather than bring down the length properly in stages it was like being sheered... The lengths are all wrong and the curls were not at all accounted for at all in the trimming. It'll be at least six to eight months before my hair is remotely the same again ... And three to four before it's where it was supposed to be. The beard trim was lazy at best.

I laughed the whole time I was in this place. Riley gave me a solid cut and he took his time to make sure it was done right. He also educated me on my hair and the proper and improper style of it. I thought it was pretty cool that he took me through the purpose of the products that he was using to finish the cut. As others have said, this place has an old school barber shop feel. I'm from Philly and it was nice to hear another Northeast accent in the shop!

The barbershop is dope! Be prepared to have your balls busted though, it's a barbershop! Brook hooked me up with a buzz cut and a straight razor. It was straight, clean, and just what I wanted/needed. They pay attention to details! I've been to a few other barbershops around town and got ok haircuts, but this will be my new spot!

I'm insanely picky. I was trying to find a barber in the Denver area that knows what they are doing these guys are it. No first year beauty school drop outs. Experienced barbers at a very good price. Don't go to floydes stay away from any of the ten dollar chop shops. Go to 1907 you won't regret it. It's an old school barber experience. It makes you want to hang out all day.
