The guy shaved the right side of my head a whole half inch higher than the left side. It looks awful, and it will take me over a year to grow that patch of hair back. I tried to contact the stylist when I got home to discuss the issue but got no reply. Save yourself the frustration and find a different barber. EDIT: I reached out to the haircutter shortly after the cut using their own email receipt/review system so I could ask what happened. I asked him if there was something I said that made him think I wanted my hair cut unevenly. I got no response, so I proceeded to write the above review the following day. I understand mistakes happen, and was CLEARLY willing to discuss the issue in my initial contact. The response below is quite indicitave of their attitude, so I'll let the reader be the judge.

I recently relocated from Florida to Denver and found this place over the interweb. I walked and immediately noticed it was very warm, welcoming, non-pretentious but very current. While waiting I noticed the staff working on perfectly executing various current men's haircuts. Grant G. was my Barber he was thorough, professional, great conversationalist but most importantly he listens.. I can't say enough good things about Grant G. and the rest of the staff at Altitude Barbershop. If you are new to the area and looking for a professional barber shop come here if you already live here and have a barber ...break up with your current barber and come here. My one suggestion though is to call ahead and make an appointment with my guy Grant G. I was a walk-in and had to wait a few minutes but it was well worth the wait.

Yea, this place is legit. Sean is cool. Carved up a Colorado Flag in my sons head before a big sports event and it looked mean... Fan of the tight fade and they got it. Place is a real barber shop and definitely use this place as a "treat" when the haircut matters.

I was recommended to this shop. After many attempts at other shops, I could say my boys were excited after seeing the reviews and hearing others experiences. I decided to book 2 appointments, one for 9 am one for 930 am, with Ray. Let me remind you, I went through the whole process of making the appointments, entering payment information, 4 days before the appointments. Today, the day of the appointments, before the event we are scheduled for today (the whole reason the cuts were needed today), I received a text message at 4:45 am to cancel both. I too work with clients, who I provide support to. It is completely unacceptable to cancel an appointment and not offer another option to receive a service that is by appointment only. Highly disappointed and we were not even able to try your services. I will make sure to tell all the people who recommended me about this experience. Also all the people who had asked us for our feedback after we were to get services, I will be very sure to tell them not to bother with your shop!

Was brand new to the area, and having moved, wanted to get my haircut and see what the area had to offer. Found this shop via Yelp, and booked with "Murph" after looking at the pictures of his cuts. Very glad I did. This shop runs on appointment base only, so make sure to use their site, extremely easy to navigate. Murph is a top notch barber, and was very friendly. Told him how I had just moved here and he gave me amazing recommendations and helped me with knowing some cool spots to visit for weekends. The haircut came out extremely well, like I had been coming to him for years. He told me that he does his cuts to where they still look as good 3 weeks down the road as it did the day of the cut. This definitely held true. Just booked my second appointment, and would highly recommend him and the shop to anyone looking for a good cut at a reasonable price!

I give two stars because this barbershop used to be my favorite place. Sean is good at fades , but this place raised their prices all the way from 25$ to 40$ for a haircut with Sean. They take your card info and I tried canceling the night before online and it didn’t go through because they charged me the next day for a no show. Sean said he would give me his number so it wouldn’t happen again but never followed through. I’m a student and just couldn’t afford to pay that. So I went with Anthony to give him a try out. Had an appointment for 10 am. He texts me 10 minutes before when I just pulled up and said he got held up so it will be another 10 minutes. I go inside to wait and Anthony is being held up by “ getting his haircut by Sean!!!” I thought it would be quick , but it took 30 minutes for him to finish !!!! I had to be in class! He finally finishes and acts like nothing happened. Asked for a low fade and to keep it long on top with the edges rounded off. Needless to say , he went on to give me a high fade hamburger to make me look like I was back in the army and took off a ton of hair on top to the point I couldn’t do a thing with it till now. While he was cutting my hair he kept trying to make conversation by asking what I was going to school for and I told him nursing. He asked me what I was going to school for 3 more times after that and our conversations were just awkward because I kept repeating myself. It was clear that the guy did not listen to anything I said whatsoever. That was the final straw for me and I finally found a barber who actually does it right and for a super low price. I didn’t want to give a bad review but I realized that something needed to be said.

Needed a cut badly as I was from jersey and here for a convention and needed a good barber.Found this place from my Uber driver after checking out a couple spots, my Uber driver took me here and glad he did. Z hooked it up as a walk in and was very detailed with my cut more importantly my beard shape up. Being from northern NJ I usually hit up the NYcity for a cut but his place was equally as good. Will be back next time on in Denver. Absolutely recommend this place for a great cut and good conversation. Great spot
