First and last time going, I asked for a trim / clean up on my beard and hair I give the hair cut a 6 out of 10 on the hair cut but I lost a HUGE Chunk of hair on my beard. Never letting a lady cut my hair again

I get a pretty basic haircut. Still various haircutters manage to mess it up. Only been here 3 times, but I can tell from the professionalism of the barbers its not going to happen here. Worse thing I can say is they are usually busy. The wait goes quickly though. Good place for a man to get his hair cut.

Called first to check wait times, guy told me it was dead. When I arrived the place was full, I sat down and waited.... Then the phone rang and the barber closest to the phone answered and said"it was dead, come on down", Then he said" I don't care, I'll lie" to another guy in the shop. Would not recommend.

Great 1st barber experience for my 7 yr old son. Although they don't do any fun designs. My son was a bit disappointed, but I won't fault this establishment for it. Love the vintage vibe, commmunity involvement portrayed with wall memorabilia, super friendly atmosphere. Their friendly & welcoming vibe Gives me hope that this community has compassion. Listening to conversations that we're meaningful & genuine made the wait worth it. My son was so excited, I've never seen him wait a full hour acting like an angel. It's not their fault we chose a typical busy day right before the holiday.

I'll never go anywhere else for a haircut as long as I live in the San Diego area. Jason, AL and the rest give a great cut at a low price. The friendly, witty banter and old school barber shop feel are why this place has been an Escondido landmark since the 1950s. First come first serve here, so be prepare to wait well over an hour if you come on a busy day. Don't worry, it's worth it!

Guys are great, but i wouldnt recommend the newer lady working there. Last two haircuts i drew her and both times left underwhelmed and a short haircut despite asking to leave the top long. but she starts off taking too much off which leaves no room to ask her to adjust except even shorter than she made it. Haircut still looked fine, tho sideburns were uneven, just wish she started out and worked her way shorter.
