After moving from Conway to Little Rock, I struggled for 3 years to find a good place for a haircut until I stumbled upon Capitol Barber Shop and started using Aaron Jackson. Great barber, great guy, reasonable prices, and great haircuts. You can also schedule appointments online so that you don't have to spend all day waiting around. And it's a convenient 2 minute walk from my work in downtown LR. I highly recommend giving him a shot if you are looking for a barber.

It doesn't get much better. Old school style barber shop with new and young talent. Luke cut my hair and let me tell you folks, it wasn't good, it was excellent. I'm picky when it comes to my salad and this guy made sure it was pristine and clean before I left. Luke not only hit a homerun with my hair cut, he even threw a little straight razor on my neck to finish off this experience. Highly recommend. On a serious note, the barber shop is in the Regions Bank Building downtown and it is on the bottom floor. Go pass the cafeteria and small shops and it's in the main area. Call ahead at least one day to make an appointment is what they recommend. Don't be that guy with a gnarly werewolf neck and cargo shorts, go get your life in order and get a hair cut from these guys and ditch your cargo commanders. Look good, feel good, play good.

I know he takes pride in giving his customers a high quality cut. Morrison's as a whole is more barbershop then salon, but I saw plenty of women getting their hair done in here during my visits as well. I'm sure the other guys in there do a great job cutting hair, I just don't have first-hand experience. I recommend making an appointment, their services are in high demand.
