i booked a haircut for today at one of V"s barbershops, got a confirmation, it even posted to my google calendar. I drove the 12 miles out to it since I have a preferred barber. On the door was a sign saying it was closed for a jewish holiday, Yom Kippur. I made this reservation on their website and can't figure out why they can let me book it when they should know they are going to be closed a head of time. This has happened twice, the first time the barber was on vacation, but they let me book it again. They should know all of this and not let these things happen. I recommend not booking on line, but calling the shop or just find another barbershop to go to. Mike

Insulted my hair, made my kid feel uncomfortable. I mean what more is there that could've gone wrong. At that point it wasn't even about the hair cut. But that's okay, I'll be seeing you...won't be about hair though

Most mechanical, least friendly haircut I've ever had. Actual haircut was fine. Asked what I wanted, more or less did it, done. Didn't even ask if I liked it. Maybe the other barbers there are different, but Berta (I think that was her name - she didn't bother to introduce herself) was unremarkable.

Owner got in my face because he said that the V's Barbershop in Del Mar, Ca was not the original V's Barbershop. I could care less which one is the original, I just want my hair cut.

I have been coming here for years and Manashe is great. He can cut the style you want and even surprise you with something new if requested. Liz is super nice and Igor does a fantastic job running the place. Even though he’s the boss you can book an appointment with him if you like when he is free. Love this place.

Good cut, but very overpriced. Should have a price list posted or when offering someone services tell them how much it's going to be so we aren't taken back by the high price surprise at the end. $80 for "the works" which included a half-assed "massage" was definitely not worth it. Salon prices at a barber shop. Wouldn't be so angry if the price was discussed before services were rendered.
