They have been very accommodating everytime I come in for a cut. Between Nick, Albert, and Yuri I honestly see no reason to go anywhere for a haircut. The shop feels clean and gives a very classic barber feel. The wait time has been low every time I've showed up as a walk in. I even showed them a photo of what I was expecting and it was done exactly as requested, no going around it and straight to the point. Best barber shop I've been in for awhile and I'm picky with people who do my hair.

I had a great experience here I usually go to another place up the street but they don't take reservations and I don't like having to wait 30 minutes for a ten minute haircut. They were very professional and I was exhausted while I was getting my haircut so I kept dozing off and my barber was very cool about it he would politely remind me to keep my head up haha I'll definitely be back!

I called a few barbers this morning to compare prices. The owner of Shave and Fade picked up the phone and certainly had the best customer service. You could tell he was passionate and wanted to earn my business. Going in, I had Sal cut my hair. The guy was down-to-earth, respectful and his many years of experience showed. He neither rushed nor spent unnecessary amounts of time on certain details. Price was fair, and Sal deserved a tip. If I lived in Phoenix, I would definitely visit Shave and Fade again. Plus, they got a pool table.

I have been coming here every 2-3 weeks for about a year now. Al is my go to barber, his fades are top notch. Every time I move I have a hard time finding a good barber, and I recently moved but I still drive across town because I know the customer service and quality is consistent. Nick has done a great job making customers feel welcome and taking care of them, no matter how busy it is in the shop. Even as their customer base has grown and their peak times have gotten busier, all the staff take their time and give you a quality cut or shave. Definitely would give this place a shot. Do yourself and their staff a favor and come in earlier in the day vs. peak hours right before they close.

I took my son in and explained what he wanted. The first barber knew that it wasn't something he could master for us so he had us wait a few minutes for a barber that could satisfy us. He took his time and made my son's cut exact and it looked sharp when he was done. I was very impressed and will be returning to that same barber every time. I have only gone to hairdressers and this was my first barber experience. He even gave me a same day, Sunday afternoon appointment. I was very impressed with Nick’s knowledge and experience. I went cause it had a lot of good reviews and everyone seemed to like it, so I decided to give it a shot. I got a haircut by “uncle mike” and so he asked what I wanted and I told him and he did nothing even close to what I wanted.i asked for a fade and I don’t even see one and the backs and sideburns aren’t any better I Felt rushed he did it in 15mins or less and they Service was alright and expensive for not even getting to what I remotely wanted! I’m definitely not coming back!

Nick and his staff are fabulous. I went for the first time about three months ago. I took my two sons and my father. Nick and his staff performed all 4 haircuts with precision and excellence. All barbers were both friendly and communicative. When we went to pay, Nick offered a father and son discount. This act demonstrated the integrity that has kept me coming back every two weeks since that initial visit. In addition, Shave and Fade is one of the few barbershops that is open early to accommodate my work schedule.

I was extremely impressed with the cut that I received today. They listened to what I had asked for, and executed it flawlessly. I appreciated the detail that went into the cut as well. Another highlight was the fade. I prefer a mid level fade, and they actually did it. Most places I have been to will take it too high, even after telling them I want it to be mid level. Anyways, if you’re looking for a solid barbershop, then I suggest you visit these guys.

First place I went to for a haircut when I moved out here, and it has one of the best decisions I've made. Great barbers, especially Nick and Sal, and quick replies to schedule an appointment either same day or the next morning. Nice, clean environment and excellent prices for the service. Once you come here, you'll make the 20 mile round trip like I do to always get a reliable cut.

Came in a little after hours today (Saturday) but they still let me come in and get a cut. Nice little shop with a classic barber shop feel. Sal gave me a great haircut and was very good with communicating how he was going to give me the style I wanted. You even get a hot towel and a back massage after your cut! Got a haircut on 1/22/19 between 4-430, no waiting, however a little dirty. The 2 barbers looked very tired and was slow moving. However the haircut was extremely quick 15 mins and I was out before I could say anything and the barber had me up at the register paying. I left asking myself when did the hot towel stop and the 20 sec shoulder massage and even the straight razor shave on the neck and ear line stop. So I was curious and called the next day to speak to the manager "Nick" this is what he said "that you have to ask for it" I said when did this start, he said, " one of his customers told him that you should have people ask for the service not just do it" but I still did not get an answer of when, just why. Then I said I have been going for almost 9 months now and this is the first time with out the service and that i always get a haircut, neck shave, 20 sec shoulder message, hot towel for around 20 bucks. He said now the reason is probably "because management was not there that day", hmm now I'm confused. I asked one last question is there signs posted about the new service, he said "yes". (The next day I had a friend go in and see if there was anything posted before I called the manager and I was surprise on his answer, ready for this, he said nothing was posted). So why should a customer have to deal with this and have questions about there trust in management and the establishment. So why would I have the establishment barbers cut my hair and shave using scissors and razors when you cant even trust them, or there is a change and no communication. We as men should feel comfortable going to a place month after month, year after year to relax, get a good haircut, all the trimmings and know everyone by first name. Well you will not here. I do not recommend this place at all, and i have asked all 23 of my friends that go there to not return.

Got an extremely fast haircut just before this weekend. If I pay twenty dollars for a haircut I expect at least 20 minutes of service but it wasn’t even half of that. The bald barber seemed very disinterested in making a new customer didn’t talk or even asked for my name at the end. Good thing I didn’t bring my 2 boys here. The hot towel finish smelled like sweat and was covered in small black and brown hairs this place needs to be checked out by the board of barbers. They aren’t using proper sanitary precautions when servicing customers yet alone poor quality haircut

I came to this place because of the amount and quality of the ratings this place had, plus it was close to home. Atmosphere and greeting were nice with Nick greeting me and offering a complimentary bottle of water while I waited. However as much as I wanted to like this shop, the service was not what I expected. I explained to my barber Uncle Mike what I needed (fade haircut and straight razor shave) and he went to work. Halfway through he offered to trim my eyebrows. I declined, but he proceeded. Granted, they didn't turn out bad. The best part about the shave was the hot towel. Unfortunately he wasn't detail oriented and I needed additional shaving when I got home. Not to mention the many small nicks I received during the shave. Fade haircut was ok, not better than sportsclips though and just as expensive. The only other bothersome part was the professionalism. Speaking a different language the entire time I could only help but feel there was badmouthing in there somewhere; maybe I'm just paranoid. Then when switching back to english, only talk of politics. Not the best idea for casual conversation. Overall, I expected a much better service with how everything was presented, and received much less. Sorry to say I will not be coming back nor can I recommend it.

Great place, however from now on I’ll be sure to only get my hair cut by Nick the owner. Went in today for a mid fade but from an older gentleman, and I can’t even see a fade. He cut my hair as a 3 all around sides and back with no fade at all. Nick has given me a perfect fade before so I’ll just be sure to only get cut by Nick. 1/5 stars for gentleman who cut my hair but I know this shop is a 4/5 stars because of Nick. My husband is very particular about his hair, he found this place and hasn't let anyone else cut his hair since. Customer service is great, the first time my husband walked in they were technically closed, it was after 630pm, their closing hour is 6pm. They took care of him and said they won't ever turn a customer away if they make it through the door.

Awesome VIP 1st Class barber shop with reasonable prices. I stopped by for a quick head shave $20, but I was treated to this very relaxing VIP head straight razor shave with numerous hot towels, various applications of creams, and an extremely professional shave. Okay, I'll take the face shave $20 which resulted in this high quality straight razor face shave with many more hot towels and creams. And, I'll take the facial green mask treatment $20 Which resulted in more warm towels, massaging, a special oil grease dead skin ten minute masking treatment which took twenty minutes...AMAZING...I feel much younger and cleaner...Shave and Fade is a high class barber shop with reasonable prices. It's worth the drive to visit. Good Luck!

First day after a fresh cut from 'Uncle Mike' and I feel great! He did a great job on my hair. And the quick hot towel head massage after the cut was the icing on the cake. This place is authentic and they make you feel as comfortable as possible, like you're relaxing at home while someone cuts your hair.

Honestly the haircut was like the total opposite of what I wanted. I showed a picture and he went ahead and gave me the Ivan haircut. Nothing that I wanted after I severely stressed on the pic. Once was enough for me. Won't be going back.
