This is the best barbershop in Tempe. All the barbers are experienced in every type of haircut, including the most recent styles. Give them a try and you will not be disappointed. Is a family barbershop, so even the kids can get a great haircut. I drive all the way from Laveen, but is definetely worth it.

Synopsis: Its a no frills, barebones, straight to the point barber shop that gives a pretty good haircut. The reason I gave this shop a 3/5 is due to price compared to other barber shops in the area that are of equal or better quality. The standard haircut at this shop is $18 while some of the surrounding shops give haircuts for $16 and have much more comfortable and professional atmospheres. Don't get me wrong, the haircut I received here was pretty good, they take their time and do a good job. But when other shops in the area give the same quality cut while also having a much more professional and well put together atmosphere, I cant say its one that would win my business. Overall great cut! Just wish it was less of a hole in the wall for the price they charge.

The worst place you'll ever go to. The vibe the moment you walk in is off. Nobody asked us about a reservation or appointment, nobody bothered to communicate a wait time or anything. The barbers cutting were constantly on their phones while the clients were in the chairs facing the other way, the cuts and lines on the clients were uneven. Here's the real review. As we sat there for over 30 minutes ignored, some other guy comes in, knows the Mexican female barber, she takes him ahead of us with a "oh the other barber is on lunch break he will cut yours when he gets back" no other explanation, sits him down and ignores us. We ended up walking out right then and there. For that wait time, Watching 3 bad barbers in a line up, one with attitude, one constantly texting on his phone at the same time as cutting the clients hair, and the female barber with the worst customer service we've ever experienced. Not worth a second of your time!

I went to the Shop on Saturday AFTER reading a google review. I went in and it was a bit of a wait. About 40 minutes. I figured if I have to wait for the other's before me it must be good. I got Angela and OMG was she good. Aside from the great smile and personality she actually cut my hair RIGHT. I will 100% being going back and have already spoken to several people who have commented on how nice my hair looks to reach out to Angela and the crew at MQ's. GREAT GREAT GREAT~~~

The best flat top from JJ, who really worked with the shape of my son's head to get it looking super. This was after being insulted across the street at Terminal Barbershop by the barbers, who laughed at me and said "Flat tops are so 70s " and said no one there knew how, because "no one wears them any more". Well, MQ Barbershop does -- all of the barbers there! Thank you guys, for cheering me up after the insulting I received across the street. You guys are the best! We'll be back for sure. I think I've found our new neighborhood shop!

I went there once, it was a so so cut that I would get any where else. The next time I went there, it was 5 pm and their work hours are until 6, there was only one guy working and he said he wont get me a haircut. I had left my job an hour earlier just because of going to that shop and I did not expect that kind of behavior. Another guy who entered few seconds before me started to beg the hairstylist and said he would pay him more in order to get a haircut and the hairstylist accepted but told me he wont be able to give me a haircut! Guys, either change the work hours or work until you promised.

I have been going to MQ's on Apache Boulevard for approximately 14 years now due to the quality of the cut and services. It's worth the drive from Queen Creek! JJ and Angela are talented barbers and they will offer you their advice/input if you are unsure about a certain style or what kind of haircut you should get. They're up to date on the latest haircut trends and there's nothing these two barbers cannot cut. Check it out! Maybe you'll run into a celebrity or two when you get cut there, over the years I've seen quite a few. 2nd week in a row I’ve been to this place and they only treat the regulars with respect or their own, they never clean there clippers, they use the same straight razor for everyone, roaches under the chairs... they talk about you in Spanish in front of other customers. They talk more then they actually cut the only good barber that actually has respect for you is ANGELA. Hour long waits, rude phone call assistance and outrages prices for the disrespect.
