I don’t know if I was unlucky or if the reviews for this place are fake but I had a terrible experience at this place. I went in for the first time for a simple haircut. About ten minutes in, the barber’s next appointment showed up. His boss, the owner, who was cutting hair right next to us let him know his next appointment was there. The barber then proceeded to rush through to get finished faster. He even asked the barber in the next seat who didn’t have anyone at the time if he could help because he was running behind. When the guy declined, he rushed through and finished first without even letting me see how he did. When I asked he quickly gave me a mirror then waited for me at the register. Needless to say the haircut was awful and I had to fix it at home. This place may look like a swanky spot with high quality barbers but in the end, it’s just another place with inexperienced barbers who can give their friends a good “fade” but don’t belong behind a barber chair. For what it’s worth, every guy that walked out of there while I was there had a lousy cut from multiple barbers. Stay clear of this place.

Slowest and worst haircut I've ever had. After 40+ minutes of just going over with the clippers, it became clear I wasn't getting what I asked for. I still had my son to go after me and didn't want to spend another full hour trying to get mine right. As I was paying I was told I should book a full hour if I had that much hair to cut. I usually get my hair cut once a year, and I've never had it take anywhere near that long, even with washing first. Nice enough people but I won't be going back. And my kid came out looking like Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber.

One word sums this place up...CLASS! I have been going to "II Sons For Men" for over a year. Every time I enter the door the experience gets better and better. The fact that the owner works on the floor, is a huge plus in my book. You are greeted from the second you walk in with a big, "hello, how are doing?" I love the fact that each barber is "dressed to impress". This shows me they care about their appearance, they look professional. They take PRIDE in each and every haircut they perform. I can honestly say, I have never heard a single costumer complain the whole time I have been going there. The atmosphere is amazing! I've had my haircut in some high end salons in the past, it feels like a stuff library. No talking, no joking...just a bad time all around. II Sons is a complete 180 degrees from that. Every time I get my haircut, I feel like I am talking with a friend. II Sons is not just for younger people looking for a trim. I have seen everyone from 4 years old to 80 years old, getting everything from trims to professional style haircuts. I could go on and on about this place and the barbers associated with it, however, I HIGHLY recommend you go online, book an appointment for a haircut or shave and experience it for yourself. You will not be disappointed!!

To summarize: -Reasonable price ($23 before tip) -Friendly Barbers -Beautiful Interior -Most importantly they listen and give you the exact haircut you’ve had in mind. I’ve tried over 4 barbershops since moving to Tucson and all of them had long wait times and low skill barbers who couldn’t own up to messing up my haircut. I’m very specific on how I want my classic low fade crew cut and Danny Garcia who is the owners son gets it exactly right. I don’t see any possible reason to go to any other place. Don’t waste your money on a place that overcharges or gives mediocre cuts.

I've been going here since I moved to Tucson a year ago. Benny Jr. Garcia always does a fantastic job cutting my hair. I have several weird calics and swirls that make getting a consistent haircut difficult, yet he manages to give me a perfect cut everytime. He is very detail oriented so your cut may take a little longer (I average about 40-45 mins for a high an tight with line up) but its worth the wait in my opinion.

Joaquin is very talented and hard working and takes his work seriously. If it isn't right, he isn't done. After going for a couple of months, you will know that you have found the right place. For many of us in Tucson, we try many shops before finally finding such a great place. They do online scheduling, so you know when to be there and who you will be working with. Hands down the best barbershop in Tucson. The energy in the shop is amazing and you feel at ease right away. You can tell it's not every man for themselves and the vibe is always upbeat. They've always taken the time to listen to me and help me with style tips depending on the occasion or event I'm attending. Also, you know when you're staring at products trying to figure out the difference between defining paste and fiber and whatever else but you don't want to drop the cash on something that might not end up being right for you? A great classic men’s barber shop with highly professional barbers. I started going to II Sons after retiring from the military and after trying out several shops in town. I have been getting a haircut and a shave from Hunter since he started working there and I am always happy with the quality of workmanship and pride he takes in his craft. He is extremely professional and always willing to give advice on what he knows best. Hunter is a great men’s barber and II Sons is the best barber shop I’ve been to in town. This is the absolute best barbershop in Tucson. Being a military member, I went on base for the first couple months after arriving, but the inconsistency and lack of attention to detail--not to mention the lack of attention to atmosphere and conversation--drove me to Yelp. Danny is a heck of a manager and drives excellence in the product, while the rest of the staff dedicate to quality cuts, good conversation, and an environment designed for men but friendly enough for anyone. I have been going to these guys for a while now and have had a few of them cut my hair. They all have done an excellent job. I now get my haircut with Austin G just out of preference and he has done a great job every single time. The atmosphere is very welcoming. They are a "by appointment" barbershop but they wont turn u away if you dont have one and try their best accommodate you in with the first available barber. I highly recommend this place.

Two Sons is a great local barbershop. This is my favorite place to get my hair cut in Tucson. I've seen both Danny G and Daniel C. The shop is extremely clean and well maintained. All of the barbers are professional and look the part. They have sports and movies playing on all the screens, but the barbers have great personalities so you may be chatting with them through your appointment. I love that they stock American Crew product because it is the best!
