So my nephew was taken here to get his haircut. His mom showed them a picture and asked could they do it. They said they could do something close. The cut wasn't even close. I called to try and get her money returned and they told me the cut was fresh and that she liked it. I told them she didn't like it and it wasn't close to the picture. They refused to return her money so I'm posting the pictures.... You have been warned. They do not do good business. This ain't even close.

They are OPEN SUNDAYS. Also open after 5pm unlike other barber shops in the area. Any barber/any style kind of shop. I've been coming here for months and they are all very skilled if you explain what you want even better with pictures. The parking kind of sucks though.

I waited 40 minutes for them to misplace me and say that I was behind two other clients when I arrived prior. They should really get a system to organize their line. I will NEVER go there again because they may be able to cut hair but they can't run a business.

I showed the dude Micah a couple pictures of what I wanted and he basically shaved my head, unevenly at that and I left in shock. I had medium length hair and he only left the very top untouched...then I called the next day to try and explain and see if he could just fade it and help me out but he argued with me and told me that’s why he gave me the mirror. Literally the worst haircut I’ve had in my entire life and I’m 32.

Came to get a cut, they said wait would take 30 mins waited, but barbers spend too much talking to each other. An hour passed I said I'll be back. I am back they supposedly called my name and did not show up, so then they aren't taking me. Hour said closed at 5pm Sunday and the barbers leave at 3. If you need a cut want fast assistance not here.

I just took a picture right now on a typical Sunday afternoon as their shop hours are about to close. Expect this on a daily and a surcharge of $10 if you really need your cut for the week. Should've planned earlier if this is your case. But as for the shop itself, it's the best in Glendale for a reason. All of their barbers are versatile in their work and all a work in progress, including the shop. The Owner has only had the shop for two years and it has gone under major construction since and has improved tremendously for the better. They have eight barbers in shop, seven days a week with a full waiting room that's bursting out the seams, while the competitors down the street have three and it's empty. So this proves that it doesn't matter what your shop looks like, what the name of it is, but how your barbers treat you and their consistency. As Liz always says, "Look Good, Feel Good," and every time I leave the shop, I feel like I can take on the world. P.S. I took this picture about a month ago, they've added 3 barbers since then and more waiting room in the back. I think they need a bigger location. ;P

I took my son here yesterday as I have heard great things about it... I asked if they could put a dripping Nike logo in his hair. The man's response was yeah I can do something like that. I thought OK great let's do it. My some now has what looks like a watermelon slice in his head and some other weird design. He was the most impatient, rude person with my son. My son has been getting haircuts since he was 6 months old and has never cried until this experience. I did not say anything to them as I was leaving since I had just worked 12 hours and had 3 kids with me. I am not going to cause a scene while I have my children. My brother went in there to talk to them about getting my money back, they said they will not refund it because it is a fresh cut. The barber stated he can do anything. Well obviously not. If he would have just kept it real from the start that he couldn't do it then I would have just gotten him a regular fade. I am very disappointed and so is my son.

Every time I visit this barbershop, it’s a great experience! My son is mixed so I was looking for a black barber and found Ghost and Tru! I completely trust them with my sons. The atmosphere is great! I recommend this for anybody!

A little pricey i thought but the experience was............. worth it. Kinda like the actual barber shop movie but everyone has a different background. But i have not been to a barber in a few years so maybe that is the thing taste these days. They do have a community gathering to talk about pressing issues every Saturday morning i believe. From what i heard while i was there. Sounds like a pretty intellectual gathering of our locals. Even if your not local check them out. Oh almost forgot the best smoke shop in phoenix right next store. The Palace Smoke Shop, great prices and awesome owner.

Horibble, I've been going for 3 years straight and they never get my hair cut right, they take a long time and it comes out looking like a barber school project. I even tiped high, $10.00 just in tip, in hopes of them trying harder next time I come in. Buhh.. No. No Luck, I recently went to another barber and he did it right and fast.. Just had my beard “trimmed.” Barber cut it too short all around but shorter on one side then the other. You can see through my beard on the right side but not the left. He only used a razor to edge the top of my beard and moustache. Did not edge me up on the sides at all and trimmed my neckline with clippers and left long hairs. I had to shave my neck when I got home. Won’t be coming back.

There are a lot of great barbers in here but some of them are beyond rude. Had one refuse to redo my hair, saying it would be another haircut and even followed me outside to argue about it. Overcharged me for it too. You're better off looking for somewhere else to get your hair cut.

I recently stopped by and got a haircut, if you wanna call it that. The sign outside reads "BARBER SHOP" but if you ask me it felt more like a butcher shop. I showed my barber multiple pictures of the hairstyle I wanted to achieve. It wasn't difficult to see especially because it was the same hairstyle I came in with I just needed a trim. The barber cut my hair very unevenly and was very far off from giving me quality service. It was hard to judge my haircut at times because the mirror you see yourself in is across the room. The next time I feel I need a high priced haircut with low quality results I'll be sure to keep these guys in mind. Wal-Mart has a new contender on the street!!

I've been taking my son here for almost a year now it was hard finding a good barber that would cut his hair the way I like it. There always busy and maybe an hour wait which I didnt mind waiting. I show up on a Saturday at 5:15pm they tell me there closing at 6pm and they have a whole line waiting and for me to go back tomorrow (easter sunday) they open at 10am I said alright fine with me I show up at 11am I walk in they tell me there charging an extra $15 on top of the $20 charge for his hair cut so it'll be $35 in total which is messed up knowing there always open on Sundays. & when I went Saturday for them to turn me away and not tell me they charging extra Sunday. Won't be going back here.

If you like friendly, Laid back, make you feel like you’re walking into your best friend’s house type barber shop come here. I came in for the first time last Tuesday and can honestly never felt more comfortable with a new barber. I gave liz just a visual of what I wanted my sons hair to look like and with all confidence I can say I felt secure and knew she was going to give me what I wanted. I didn't catch his name, but I had my hair cut by the bald African American gentleman with a beard. This man was extremely rude and did not listen to anything I asked for regarding my cut. I explained to him what I wanted and asked him if he needed clarification, in which he gave me a smart a$$ response. When he was finished, the cut was not what I asked for and the fade was terrible. I then asked him to trim a little hair off the top, in which he replied "you should have said that from the beginning". I then asked him to apply some pomade, in which he did without dampening my hair. Therefore, I asked him to dampen my hair because I didn't like the way my hair looked dry. This guy argued with me about it to the point I just said forget about it. I really had to bite my tongue with this guy's attitude. Then, to top it off, the haircut was overpriced at $24. This is the first review I have written for any business so that should say a lot about my experience at this place. I can't speak for the other barbers here, but the guy that cut my hair has no business behind a barber's chair.
