I have been going to this Floyd’s for four years now but found my favorite stylist Sheila B about two years ago. You can tell the difference in Floyd’s from other places that you might find in a strip mall hands down! They take their time with you and don’t try to just rush to the next cut. For the same price as the next place they use warm towels and straight razor your neck. I definitely would and have recommended Floyd’s 99 and Sheila B to my friends!

I went into the barber shop around 430pm to get a haircut. There was no customer getting a haircut at this time and they all were sitting on their phones. The guy behind the desk told me I would have to wait till 630 if I want a haircut. It seems to be weird if no o e was working at that time. So I left and went to king of kuts down the road and they got me in fast and did amazing job. I use to go to Floyd's off occtille and arizona ave but for this work ethic I will not be returning.

I have been going to Floyd's 99 - Chandler for some time now and have never been disappointed! With my hair most options or cuts are difficult and I am very particular about my hairstyle...I have found a home here. Over the past two years I have exclusively used Sheila B. for my styling needs. She knows what I want before I do and with me that's nearly impossible! When I am not being lazy and trim my beard outside of my visits with Sheila I use the cut and style that she recommended for me and absolutely love it! I will go nowhere else!

I've gone here multiple times over the past 4 months or so and have consistently had some of the best haircuts that I've had. The staff and barbers are all very friendly and I haven't had just an okay nor a bad experience at all. The price is fair ($22 for a regular cut) and the service offered has been top-notch.

I get a good cut and a good talk he is very friendly and good at what he does not once had he messed up my hair.. when I get anyone else they always cut my hair too short or just mess it up I ask for the same haircut every time and something different always turns up, it’s ridiculously busy too so make an appointment with Myles he deserves a raise! (Only reason this gets two stars is because I have respect for Myles)

The front desk operates like a full on mess. The girl is rude and on her cell phone most of the time. Don't ask her any questions, I'm sure you will get a short, rude response.. My haircut was not up to par! I am now sitting at the Arizona ave location being treated with respect waiting on a redo . Not to mention I just found out they over charged me.. $30 instead of $24.50.. I didn't get anything special..beware!!

Better atmosphere than most places but stylists are basically the same you get at any franchise hair place except more expensive because of the cool atmosphere. I made him an appointment with Ascheley, and we had a minimal wait time while she finished cleaning up after her previous client. My boyfriend treated himself to the haircut, beard trim, and brow wax. It was his first time in a professional shop in over 7 years, and he was truly pampered. The shop atmosphere is great, with plenty of seats for waiting. Thank you for taking care of my boy!

The lady was nice and did a very good job. $42.50 plus a tip is a bit crazy for a mans haircut and simple beard trim. I was impressed with the cut but I will go back to either Lady Janes or Geo’s and drive a bit further for the same cut that costs almost half the price.

What a fun place to get your hair done! Brought my son who is 9 years old to get his hair tamed, as he has been inherited a huge afro between me and his dad. John Paul was his hair stylist and took the time to give him a great cut and engage in conversation with him. The setting is very edgy and Industrial with decoupage images of all kinds of music artists all over the walls. Blasts great music over their speakers and very friendly service. Went in for a haircut and beard trim, and was VERY nervous about the beard trim, as every attempt at maintaining my wispy man mane on my own ended with shaving off the wreckage of my poor beard. Courtney P took it in stride, and gently transformed me from Grizzly Bear to Grizzly Adams while giving me a solid cut that goes from meeting room to mosh pit with classic cool. Also, stock up on Reuzel products while you're there to keep that new cut smell!

My stylist was Emma first off she was friendly but her hair cutting skills are horrible she cut my ear with clippers yes clippers and was never offered anything for that she trimmed my beard and was not lined I was charged so for 50 dollars I would never recommend nor come back.

Sheila has been in the business for quite some time and the reason I always go back is because of the quality job everyone working there provides. Before getting my hair cut by Sheila, I went to many of the other stylists at that same location and all of them have been absolutely fantastic! I’ve gotten my hair botched by enough local great clips, fantastic sams, and sports clips down the street to know this Floyd’s barbershop is one of the best places around. The cleanest fade from any barbershop I have been in the valley. It's also important not to skip the hair wash. A hot towel over the face and someone else washing your hair is an experience in itself.

I get my haircut here periodically but not anymore after my last 2 visits. I come here knowing that it's about $25 for a haircut but I tell myself that it's worth it for a good haircut. Unfortunately the last 2 times have been horrible. I take my son with me and we spent $55 plus tip for our haircuts. My sons hair came out so so so bad. He looks like he has an island of hair on the top of his head. I asked them to give him a general number 2 on the sides and finger length on top and to make it where we can brush it over to the side. Nope, he got buzzed and his hair has so many different lengths to it that he looks horrible. Our family asked what the hell we did to his hair... Additionally my haircut was ok... Just ok... My side burns were missed and I had to correct them when I got home. I'm just so disappointed because all they do is cut hair all day and it seemed like they just wanted to take short cuts. Outstanding service from Sara. Went in for a beard trim and straight razor clean up and it was the full deal. Hot towels and warm shaving cream, followed by a cool towel at the end. Great vibe here and I highly recommend her and this location.

From previous experience at the Floyds in Tempe, I had high expectations for this one in Chandler, and as expected they rocked it, clean environment, awesome people, easy to get to, they are fast and friendly. Dani, being the best one there! She’s confident yet caring, she loves taking what you want and turning it into reality. I was nervous to do a big change but she supported my ideas, she has this little thing, at the end of the cut, she’ll give you a mirror and show you what she did, pointing out layers, where the high lites and low lites sit, and over all recapping what she did that you couldn’t see. Now it’s just something small but for Dani to put that effort in showing she cares, means that I will be following Dani no matter where she goes! Thank you so much!!!

After five years of having her as my stylist, she remains consistent with every visit. From the moment she greets me to the time I walk out the door, I want to come back again to have that same experience again and again. Original review: Cool barber shop with a mix of male and female stylists. The walls look like a college dorm room covered in music posters. For $23 I can't seem to get a consistent hair cut here however. Some times it's great, but the last time I wasn't paying attention and the barber didn't cut the hair on one side of my head so I had to go home and finish it myself. For the price you do get a straight razor neck shave at least. Revised review, May 2018: Added one Star. After some so so experiences here I by luck landed in the chair of Renee. She not only did an awesome job on my hair cut but she made my beard look better than it's ever been. I'm now booking appointments only with her. She is my beard Sherpa. Tip her well!

I love the atmosphere and all the staff at Floyd's, but Mia is my ATF. (I even followed her to another Floyd's far, far away, but I'm glad she's back in Chandler!) She never rushes, and always strives to make me look my best. On top of that, when I get a wild hair that I want to change my look a bit, she has great instincts and can make the look I want happen! When I want to splurge, her straight razor shave service is top-notch. If you want a great haircut at a reasonable price, give Mia a call!!
