Anyone who has not been to Ronnie's Barber Shop who might be interested in a haircut needs to look beyond the negative comments made by just a few. Mistakes do happen everywhere, but hair grows back, and Ronnie would always do right by the customer next time around. Haircuts at Ronnie's are amazingly consistent, and consistently superior to all haircutting establishments in the area - period.

Great experience at Ronny’s! He gave my 1yr old son his first haircut and did great. I get my hair cut here as often as I can, awesome cut. Very thorough, this is not an in and out hatchet job. You pay for the better haircut and the time that he puts into your cut. Remember, cash only also (but there in an ATM in the shop.)

Don’t be fooled by the pictures and reviews at this place. I asked for a military cut with a medium fade and I got a complete hack job today from a female stylist. I’m kind of used to getting a bad cut in Alaska but holy hell. Where the hell did you learn to cut hair and are you even licensed to be using a pair of clippers? Cost was $35 for a cut that’s going to get my boss wondering if I had someone in the barracks cut my hair for me. Thanks for nothing. Won’t be coming back to this place.

A great barbershop. Ronny comes second to no one with his hair cutting ability. There is another long standing barber that cuts with him and although Ronny is the only one that cuts me up he seems to also know what he is doing as well. Folks hair always look fresh after he cuts them. Ronny is the man! He always knows how to do my Fade! This isn't your regular barbershop!

I'm not from Alaska and this is the first time I've ever been here and I'm not much of a talkative person at first but they did a good job on my hair. Especially for a first time customer. If any of you had any doubts about this place I would strongly reconsider it. Oh don't forget to tip.

I visited here based on the positive reviews. I had the worst haircut in my life here. I am convinced the reviews are fake reviews. The guy cutting my hair didn't speak english so the other guy had to tell him how I wanted my hair cut. Big mistake because he pulled out an electric clipper and went over my hair with a number 4. I could have cut it better myself. I usually don't get too worked up when I get my haircut so this was surprising how bad it was.

Great attention to detail and desire to meet customer needs and expectations. They take their time to get it right. When I have gone elsewhere I have always had to fix something after I got home. I don’t have to do that when I go here.

First time visiting Ronny's Barbershop. Walked right in and got a great haircut. Ronny was a nice guy and the shop was clean. He also used a straight razor for my neck line and beard trim, something I haven't found elsewhere in Anchorage. Highly recommended.
