Get your hair did

First the good. The price is $11, they work fast, and they have a vacuum system attached to their trimmers so itchy hair trimmings don't get everywhere. Now the bad. I came in for a haircut, I told the older gentleman I was getting engagement pictures that day. I told him just a trim/haircut and that I wanted the sides and back a little shorter that the top and everything layered and blended well. Then I showed him how much I wanted off the top. When he handed me my glasses back I looked terrible. Top is much shorter than I indicated, and the sides are tight like a military style buzz. The change in length from top to sides is abrupt and looks uneven, not layered and blended like I told him. When I commented on this he didn't give me a response at all. When I went to pay I pulled out my card only to be told they were cash only. There is no sign to indicate this is their policy. I went and got cash, and when I came back to pay they apparently were talking about my experience. A customer said that the older man was "old school" and would give haircuts that he thought the customer needed, not like they wanted. I won't be going back. I'll be finding a place that takes card and cuts my hair the way I want it done. I imagine if you want a high and tight buzz though, this is the ideal place.

Guy working wouldn't even say hello when I walked through the door. Waiting about 15 minutes for him to finish his client. Then instead of addressing me as being next he just gave me a blank stare. I then asked if he took debit as payment and he just shook his head no. So all in all he wouldn't say one word to me. Not even a hey there's one next door or sorry I don't or even a yea I know I need to get updated. So very poor experience. He looked like he was judging me for being from out of town. He had no problem speaking with the client and any of the other gentlemen that came in after me. Got to say, at age 36 that was one of my most ridiculous barber experiences and I travel all over the country and use many different one. Highly recommend you don't come here if you're not a local.
