In choosing to work with a local bank (Zion's) I was frustrated by crappy technology and the customer services was repeatedly wrong and provided inaccurate information. It's a shame there isn't a zero-stars review option.

This place wouldn’t honor a check written on their bank and wanted to charge me for cashing it. I got a reimbursement check from my employer and wanted to cash it so I went to the bank it was drawn on, Zions. They said since it was over $50 they could NOT do it without charging me. Worst lousy policy I can imagine from a bank to refuse to honor a check their customer had written. BTW the check was from a large government entity so it was not like the check was likely to be no good. I stopped banking with these guys years ago and I remember why.

Our experience here is usually good. If you're just depositing checks and there's a line at the drive through, you can deposit them faster through the ATM. Zions Bank doesn't have nearly as many fees as Chase Bank which was crazy fee-wise.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted politely, the staff was very knowledgeable and what they were not sure of they got the answer quickly.I love coming to this branch quick and pleasant visits.
