Started out great but has gone way downhill. Have had account locked out several times due to suspicious activity making simple purchases on Amazon and other online purchases. This has happened to three people that I know who have accounts there. For me, this requires a 60 minute round trip to physically go in and speak to an associate to get access to MY MONEY restored. Salin refused to accept a direct deposit from the IRS, due to yet more suspicious activity, which sent my tax return into purgatory for weeks. The IRS finally resorted to cut a hard check and sent to former address and had to jump hoops to get another check sent. They said that my bank refused my tax return. I've DD my return for years into this same account! Mobile deposit has been down now for at least 4 days, requiring yet more hour long round trips to simply cash a check. I'm closing my account on payday and going with a local Credit Union closer to home. I do like the live tellers, but I can I can withdraw 24/7, 15 minutes from my house, free of charge from my Salin account (via this Credit Union ATM), so live teller is not necessary for me. I wish them the best, but cutting off my access to my money has happened too many times. Imposing extreme security measures, due to something as simple as ordering an appliance part from another state, and being flagged (because it was an out of state purchase),resulting in my account being locked down, leaving my high and dry until I drive there and get it straightened out. The associates that work in the branches are such good people though. Top notch service from these folks.
