I’m writing this in hopes what happened to me will not happen to anybody else. I worked with them to get a home equity loan. I pulled out half what I was approved for under a “promotion “ first year interest only payments. The loan offer I was working with let me know that my credit is so good that if I pulled out the rest I could lock the loan at 2.9 for the life of the loan. A year later my loan payment tripled. I called to see what happened, well my loan offer lied to me. It WAS NOT LOCKED FOR THE LIFE OF THE LOAN, AND MY VARIABLE RATE IS 8.9. Which could go up every year !! And to top it off guess who does not work with them anymore the loan offer I worked with. All I can say do not do work with this company. They will tell you anything to make you sign papers. The whole thing has made me sick to my stomach.

Norlarco was an Awesome Credit Union,but Service Credit Union Charges for money orders and bank checks which I need too pay my rent! They Should be free! I'm a Disabled Gulf War Veteran an I have a hard time getting around so I checked here to see if they were going too be open on Jan2,2017 an by my suprise this app says they were Open,sure enough they were Closed,TKS PSCU for Not updating,waste of time!

Stay away. Used to be PSCU, now Canvas. I'm extremely tech-savvy, and have never experienced such a terrible online experience. Users used to have to use Microsoft Internet Explorer (who uses that anymore?) to log in. Now it's Canvas, and using IE or Chrome still yields no way to log-in to my account. I've had such a terrible online experience trying to get information on my loan, I finally just paid it off early. I will certainly not ever use Canvas for my next car loan - no matter what. Why does this place make it so hard to take my money????

They have good loan rates and low fees but I've had so many problems with them over the years. Currently I'm trying to call to make an appointment with a banker for a loan. They don't put their branch phone numbers online so I had to call the automated message number and wait 15 minutes for an operator to give me the number for my closest branch. I left a message and no one called back (they never return calls). So I call the automated message again and wait another 15 minutes to get the number for another branch. She says she doesn't have their number but she can transfer me somewhere else to get the number. I reluctantly agree and get "your call will be answered in greater than 10 minutes". What a joke.

I've been banking here at PSCU at the branch off of Boardwalk for about 4 years. I've never had any problems, the tellers are always super friendly and everything has gone very smoothly. Their website is pretty nice for bill paying online too. I love that you can use any credit union ATM without a fee nationwide which has been very useful when travelling.

Probably the most disorganized bank imaginable not one person able to help or take responsibility or even complete a task...... Four weeks of waiting to have funds released and still hachto jump through their hoops to get anything accomplished..... All they do is tell you what they can't do not what they can do

Awefull I call on time every month to make my payments but can never get a hold of anyone. Due to my work schedule I can never drive in to make payments. I hear from many others this is not the bank to get a loan through

I remember when my parent, even my grandparents would live by the banks word...never expecting unlawful acts or funny business. i could get my acct to balance and never once did my money go missing nor any lies were told? However, this CU, doesn't hold a candle to the banks of old! IF YOU WORK WITH PSCU, AND YOU ARE NOT WATCHING, YOU'LL FIND YOU MAY BEING ROBBED, AS I WAS & SEE I AM, AGAIN! I've been using & a member of NORLARCO/PSCU,YET OVER THE 25V YRS I GAVE THEM IN LOYAL SERVICE INCLUDING REFERRALS TO THIS BANK, I've endured many illegal actions & EXPERIENCED LOSS OF CASH WITHOUT THEM SAYING A WORD UNTIL I WOULD! When IT WAS NORLARCO CU, Id experienced buying a car under this older credit union paid it off early, and yet when i went to get another car loan, I couldn't seem to get a loan, JUST BEFORE THE NAME CHANGE, PLUS ID NOTED ALL THE SUDDEN MY MONEY WAS BEING TAKEN IN RELENTLESS SHORT CHECK FEES BY DRAFTS FROM PEOPLE ID NOT GIVEN PERMISSION TO TAKE 4 DIFFERENT DRAFTS FROM MY ACCT, YET THE BANK REFUSED TO INVESTIGATE THE TRANSACTIONS, YET HAPPY TO TAKE WELL OVER $1000 IN FEES AND DRAFTS! THEN IVE TAKEN 4 CART LOANS AND WHILE WORKING IN TANDEM WITH THE INS COMPANY ID END UP PAYING EXTRA FEES AND INTEREST ON TWO OF THE CARS ID TAKEN LOANS ON, PLUS I WAS LOSING CREDIT SCORE POINTS, FROM CLOSE TO 700 WHEN I STARTED DOWN TO A LOW 520, BY THE TIME ID PAID THIS BANK IN A SPECIAL SELF PAID CREDIT CARD, A SELF PAIF PERSONAL LOAN WHERE I PAID FOR THE CHARGES BEFORE THEY EVEN TOOK PLACE AS WELL AS PAYING THE BANK INTEREST TO DO THIS...IT WAS SUPPOSED TO GET MY CREDIT SCORE UP, INSTEAD IT WENT DOWN 80 POINTS, THAT YR. THEY SAID, WE'LL DO A CAR LOAN & THIS WILL SURELY GIVE YOU A HIGHER SCORE; INSTEAD IT COST ME EVEN MORE IN MY CREDIT SCORE AND IN FEES, & MY INTEREST WENT SKY HIGH! THE FINAL STRAW, WAS A FEW YRS BACK JUST BEFORE ALL THE CAR LOANS & THE BANK/INSURANCE COMPANY PLAYING, FAST AND LOOSE, WITH MY CREDIT SCORES ALWAYS GOING DOWN ON EACH CAR ID PAY OFF EARLY, TONS IN INTEREST THAT THE INS CO OWED HE BANK NOT ME, MANY LATE FEES I DID NOT OWE THE BANK, ETC...BUT, WHATS REALLY DONE IT FOR ME, WAS WHEN ID MADE A DEPOSIT IN NIGHT SLOT, ID LOST $70, BECAUSE ID NOT ADDED CORRECTLY, THEY SAID NOTHING AND KEPT THE CASH AND ME WITHOUT A RECEIPT...THEN I MADE A CAR LOAN CASH PYMT, AND I ENDED UP WITH 1 RECEIPT, SAYING ID ONLY PAID $20, WHEN IFILLED OUT PAPERWORK FOR $120! THE MNGER SHOWED THE TAIL END OF A VID, WITH ME DRIVING OFF, AND ANOTHER VID WITH MY $120 CAR PYMNT PAPERWORK ON COUNTER AND ONLY A $20 BILL ON A COUNTER! THEY KEPT MY $100! AFTER LOSING ALL THAT CREDIT SCORE DOWN FROM CLOSE TO 700, NOW DOWN TO 520, WHICH COSTS ME HUGE IN INTEREST EACH MONTH, ALL THOSE FEES LOST FOREVER, LITERALLY, BE TAKEN FOR CASH PAYMENTS BECAUSE I DIDN'T GET THE RECEIPTS IN HAND, AND NOW IM JUST SCREWED OUT OF ALL THAT MONEY. SOMEONE WHO'D WORKED AT THIS SAME CREDIT UNION YRS AGO, SAID WATCH OUT THEY REALLY ARE STEALING YOUR CASH FROM OUT FROM UNDER YOUR NOSE, AND THEY PURPOSELY KEEP YOUR CREDIT SCORE LOW, SO THEY CAN MAKE EVEN MORE INTEREST, SHE SAID WATCH EVERY CASH TRANSACTION...I NOW BELIEVE AFTER 25 YEARS, LITERALLY! SHAMELESS, IF YOU ASK ME. MY GRANDMOTHER WOULD ROLE OVER IN HE GRAVE! THE BANKS USED TO BE THE ONLY GUYS YOU COULD TRUST, NOW THEY THINK OF SCAMS ON HOW TO STEAL FROM YOU! ID EVEN GONE TO ONE BANK, SIGNED UP FOR FREE CHECKING & YET THEY WERE TAKING, WITHOUT A WORD IN MY CONTRACT, $130 PER MONTH FROM MY ACCT, PUTTING IT IN MY "MANDATORY SAVINGS", THEN CHARGED ME TONS OF SHORT CHECK FEES EACH MONTH. THAT WAS WELLS FARGO, BTW NOT PSCU, BUT HOW MUCH DIFFERENT ARE THESE SCAMS? ID SIGNED UP FOR AUTO PAY ON AN ACCT WITH PSCU, FOR MY INS PYMT, & EVERY SINGLE MONTH THE PYMT WASN'T MADE..THIS REASON OR THAT!!! IT WAS ALWAYS SOMETHING ON TOP OF THE SHORT CHECK FEES!!! SURELY ID END UP WITH NO PAYMENT MADE, EVEN THOUGH I WAS MAKING A SPECIFIC $130 DEPOSIT VIA CASH OR MONEY ORDER AND LEAVE WITHOUT A RECEIPT...IM WAY TOO TRUSTING OBVIOUSLY...OH AND LETS NOT FORGET THE $8 FEE TO MAKE A PYMT BY CREDIT CARD!

I created an account here for the purpose of using it with a very low-activity online sales business. Never once was I told there would be penalties for inactivity, nor closure of my account for inactivity! This is a poor experience with the banker who set me up with the account, as I was told a low-balance, low activity account "would be fine". This is clearly not the place for me to do my business, and I'm upset they told me I could. Who knows what else they'll tell you just to get you to set up an account?

Website is absolutely horrible. Very difficult to navigate. The employees seem a bit clueless as well. We are told they have fixed issues only to find out they are still not fixed. They don't seem to know how to navigate the website themselves. I am planning to change banks due to the ongoing month after month problems.

I needed a loan for an older truck and they drug it on for 6 days past when they told me I would hear something. I called each day and spoke to someone rude each time. I was nice and cordial for each call even though this was super irritating as I'm trying to do repairs to my house and need a truck. I also was just approved for almost a 300k house loan at another bank and just was approved for a $5000 credit line at home depot. I have a $300 charge off from almost 5 years ago on my credit and that's my reason for denial. This would NEVER have happened at PSCU. I will be moving to a different credit union ASAP.
