This is my favorite place in town. Everything I've tried is amazing! Whenever we visit family out of town, they ask us to bring them things from this bakery. We go every week and are never disappointed. My favorites are the mushroom croissants, sour dough bread, rosemary sourdough, English muffins, all flavor of cheesecakes, and the chicken pot pies.

Delicious baked goods. I got a pecan roll and it was so good I went back for a scone. Fresh raspberry blackberry scones just came out of the oven and were fantastic. Crisp outside with a sweet berry glaze drizzled on top. The staff was warm and friendly also. The interior was clean and nicely decorated with warm tones and ornate hanging lights. The only negative was no wifi. Great coffee and pastry spot

We drove past this place and swung back around to go inside and see what they had. What they had was a bunch of delicious options and I picked a few to take with us as we drove to SD. The bread was outstanding and the ham and cheese crescents are mind blowing. If you're passing through this town while they're open, come here and buy one of everything.

We stopped in randomly while passing through and visiting from the UK. Probably the best bakery we have ever been in! Peach and pecan scone - to die for! And the best chocolate brownie I have ever eaten. We have since driven 500 miles, But I would walk 500 back again to have another!

We make a special trip to stock up the freezer with delicious goodies. Usually go on Saturday morning so we can have breakfast while we are there. Everything freezes well and they will give you a prescription on how to reheat and eat. Thank you Bread Doctor!

This place is amazing. The shop is a gem - tiny but very nice. It has a European feel. The bread is the best I've ever had. Be sure to try the ciabata and the almond croissants. The pot pie had the flakiest crust. So good! Makes me want to head back to Torrington.

Great variety of bakery goods - muffins, breads such as sourdough and rye, schnecken, tarts, cheesecakes, bagels, babka and more. Lovely setting to sit and enjoy coffee, quiche and other savories. Very friendly staff and the owners are totally hands on. Worth a trip to Torrington just to go to the Bread Doctor!

Excellent friendly service, excellent quality and taste in everything I picked up.
