Here you will be able to see all the opinions of people who purchased the services and products of Peter\'s Cafe & Bakery (Bakery) in Wyoming.
At the moment the business gets a rating of 4.1 stars out of 5 and this rating is based on 222 reviews.
As you can read, the average score it has is quite positive, and it is founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we may conclude that the rating is very credible. If people have bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the service, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to set tatings when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Bakery corresponds to the category of Breakfast restaurant.
I love the cinnamon roll, I have that every time with a coffee. Your WiFi does not work....bummer!!
Extensive menu and great service!
Amazing food! Very friendly staff. Even got some lovely music. Highly highly recommend.
Great coffee
We have eaten here many times. This is a small cozy place that has great food, reasonable prices, and great ice cream.
Exceptional
Good ice cream.
Probably has the best omelette in the town. It's a great place to stop in for a quick bite while strolling through historic downtown. Their sandwiches are also definitely worth a try. They also have great shakes!
Great burgers, gluten free bread and wonderful ice cream.
Great experience! If you go ask for a younger lady named Torie...Wonderful customer service skills and very great at working with my allergies!
Delicious
Great place to eat or just have desert, ice cream, coffee or a visit. There's no wait staff but they do deliver your food to your table, and you clean up after yourself. They also have old geezer books on the tables for some comical entertainment while you wait.
Neat establishment. WIFI takes forever to load up.
Great ice cream
Peter's is one of my favorite restaurants in town. Besides the friendly staff their food is just good! The soup is always so good too. I've never been dissatisfied at Peter's.
Please don't eat the cookies ~ frosted cardboard..not like when Peter was there. Soup is okay
We have eaten alot of Eggs Benedict at alot of places but this place hands down is some of the best of the best ...super friendly staff just quaint and homey...I will definitely be back everytime I visit Cody....
Lots of choices and nice staff.
Very very good soups!!
It was a cafeteria. Had good cinnamon rolls.
My fave!
Nice place for breakfast for good variety of options. Friendly staff.
This place was not clean
The food is pretty decent but oh my God it needs to be cleaned, and FLIES everywhere, no hand sanitation :(
Not much for vegetarians other than cheese sandwiches. Good soups and great potato fries
(Translated by Google) Very fat (Original) Très gras
I've never had a bad meal or pastry at Peter's, and the service is stellar.
Loved it just puts too many olives in the salad
Loved the soup
Good food
Great little cafe, excellent food, able to accommodate dairy and gluten allergies, service was great, food came quickly and the French fries taste fresh and homemade. Very happy with everything.
Great staff and atmosphere... Foods good too!
Great food
Excellent little cafe. We had a delicious breakfast here on a recent Yellowstone trip. Came back in the evening for some of their ice cream and cinnamon rolls. Highly recommend. Thank you.
Great breakfast and huge sandwiches for lunch at fair prices
Fast service, great food, good coffee, and a comfortable place to eat
Excellent ice cream, friendly. Place is worn.
Service is slow but food is good and staff are friendly.
Amazing food and great service!
Best breakfast in Cody!
Our hotel breakfast was depressing, so we decided to go here instead. One of the best decisions of our trip. High quality eggs and bacon and delicious sugary treats from the bakecase. The prices were a bargain.
I would have given this place a 5 star rating except for the totally blah, couldn't care less staff. Our burgers were very good...large beef patties with lots of toppings...great prices. The young girl who took our order could have cared less if we even existed. She was more interested in tasting the ice cream by the spoonfuls and being on her phone. The pastry cabinet windows, ice cream window and door needs to be cleaned but none of the staff was working on that. There are some many hand and finger prints on them you can barely see whats in the display. They were having fun amongst themselves though...laughing, etc...which was at least upbeat.
Delicious food and staff
My family and I were just up in Cody, Wyoming and we stopped in at Peter's Cafe & Bakery...let me tell you something...the foods is excellent. In fact we had breakfast, lunch and dinner there plus ice cream. We had no complaints. In fact, when we go back, we will be going to Peter's again. My whole family gives it a 5 star rating. The staff is always friendly and courteous. The bakery items are baked fresh and the coffee is some of the best I've ever had. Well done Peter's Cafe...well done.
Best grilled cheese and soup I've ever had. It might have had to do with me being hungry but I'd like to believe this would still win out in a head to head competition when I wasn't. Great food. Good service. Nice atmosphere. Cool downtown area.
Fantastic ice cream!
Great food and service
Excellent fare, quality service, Stevie was most preshionable, such a delight, I had the popular breakfast while my wife enjoyed the eggs Benedict with what she says was the best Hollandaise sauce she's had. Definitely worth the stop!
Great service! First time being here and they were very helpful, patient, efficient and the food was so so yummy!!! I'll definately remember them now!!
Tasty breakfast bagels!!!
Every time I go there my sandwiches are poorly made, I hear the workers talking inappropriately, while they’re listening to colorful music. Definitely not my first choice of a place to eat.
Peter's is always good!
This has been the best breakfast we have had on our road trip. Great staff, great food, great prices. They had no problem letting me sit and work of their WiFi and they were incredibly friendly. Great experience all around. I definitely recommend to anyone passing through Cody
Good breakfast
OK small town diner. Food nothing special but edible. Benedict came smothered in heavy over-salted gloopy sauce. They do have espresso (it was OK). Just passing through, so no idea how it compares to other options in Cody.
This is the place!
Closed Sundays.
Good ice cream lots to choose from
Greasy and poor cappuccino! This place has good reviews, but food was not good, cappuccino horrible, not even close, and service was inattentive. We were waiting for coffee and finally they told us to use the dispenser. This was not crowded when we went.
Food was great and service was better!!!
Goooddddd foooodddd.........
Cool place.
Don’t go there! We waited 45 minutes for sandwiches that were awful! I had eaten here several times years ago and thought i would take a walk down memory lane. The service was nonexistent. The two young people employed did not clear or wipe off tables. The restaurant is very shabby compared to what i remember it being. So sad this was kind of a staple for a quick sandwich or treat in the past.
Nothing, every table was piled with dirty dishes, the guy making the sandwiches was out back smoking ciggs then would come back and handle the cold cuts and lettuce with out washing hands, no gloves on either.Gross ...won't be going back there! Not cheap either
A local staple with a good selection if ice cream, burgers, sandwiches, soups, and baked goods.
The only thing I didn't like was that I feel it could be cleaned better. It wasn't filthy or anything, but for example the toys weren't clean. I think they should use different table markers or at least clean them.
Food here is acceptable but no extraordinary.
Nice place to meet local people and other travelers. We met a lady whose daughter lives in Rochester!
We went there on a Sunday morning, the cafe was staffed by a few young boys. They struggled with the growing queue and had nobody experienced to support them. We waited in the line for 15 minutes only to learn that their credit card reader is broken, so we couldn't order anything as we only had a card on us. Is it that hard to put on a piece of paper on the door that says 'Cash/checque only, card reader out of order'? I think not. The only upside was the very nice man greeting everyone and playing the guitar.
Not my cup of tea! But had a delicious Huckleberry ice cream that made it memorable!
The staff are very friendly, and the food is made fresh with quality ingredients. This is the best place to get breakfast! Large portions and at a very affordable price. When we were there they had a person playing guitar that greeted you. We had a very nice time.
Love this place and their burgers keep it up yung kings
Delicious breakfast with an incredibly tempting pastry/dessert case. Fair trade organic coffee. And very reasonably priced. Yum!
Great food, friendly staff!!
Nasty, bad service, and staff dresses so disgusting.
It's a low key greasy spoon. My blueberry pancakes were delicious, but my husband's traditional eggs and sausage were meh.
Visited for breakfast on our way out of Cody. They were busy working on a large catering order but that didnt stop them from feeding us and about 20 more people. We also ordered a sandwich to take. When we stopped in the mountains to eat lunch we found they had packed us chips and the best brownies too! Amazing little restaurant with great food and even better people! Wish we didnt live 1500 miles away.
Peter's has pretty good food, it is just the place itself has been dirty every time I go in there. Sticky tables and dirty floors. The staff is very kind.
Good place for soup or a deli sandwich.
Wilcoxins ice cream. Nuff said
Good coffee nice environment. Good breakfast. Would go back nice staff!
Amazing ice cream. Everything tasted super good, and the staff was very pleasant to talk to.
Very very good food at reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Huge portions for breakfast. Everything we had was delicious. Great ice cream.
Quaint neat little store.
Though they all seem like nice people, the staff seems incompetent. My family waited for over an hour for our meal, only to be told they lost our ticket. The times in between that hour when we asked the status of our meal, their staff would say they'll check on it for us and then never come back to tell us anything. When we had to tell them we need to leave soon, one lady just said, "oh, we'll get you a refund." They didn't own up to their mistake, instead they just said, "well we were busy." It wasn't busy. Once we got our refund we left and ate at Our Place - now that's a restaurant!
Went there only for ice cream, good flavor options and decent price, would definitely go again!
Great place to have breakfast prices that are very reasonable food was fantastic pancakes were out of this world
Food was good but place was dirty.
The beginning of our visit was great .. then the food came out and it was wrong.. we have an allergy to pork , didnt ask for meat..gave it to us anyway .. we asked for am cheese in eggs , didnt have it made new and still brought out wrong order. The cook/manager was very rude and never once apologized.
Service with a smile. Not your typical chain with the modern urban feel. Instead much more of a hometown family environment. Nice for a change.
Great atmosphere and the best sandwich in town
This place is wonderful if you want to dine alone or have coffee with friends. I do recomend the Highland Grogg coffee.
Brunch was amazing
This place was a real surprise!! Really reasonable priced and good food. The best part was that they were aware of gluten allergy and even had wonderful gluten free toast!! Very friendly staff!!
Best scone I've tasted outside of Scotland! My kids had ice cream, fun local flavors. Not the cleanest or the most knowledgeable young staff but I would go back again.
Friendly staff, fast service, the food is really good with big portions.
Slow service; adequate food.
I'd have given this place a 5 if the rating was based solely on the food. It was delicious, and the portion sizes are extremely generous for a great price. The people working behind the counter, though, were talking about the group of people I came in with, who were unhappy with their care-free service. They seemed to totally ignore everyone when behind the counter and didn't realize how loudly their voices carried through the rest of the diner. It's a shame, because with a few Clorox wipes, this place would definitely get a 5 star review.
Took half an hour to get half a grilled cheese sandwich which by the way was severely overpriced. I paid $8.49 for apparently half a grilled cheese and a medium drink. I was confused when they brought out a teeny tiny half a they say 4 cheese hahahaha. Anyway. They were nice enough to take the half back and get me a full sandwich but still funny. Staff seems nice but probably only 1 of the 6 of themwere actually working. There was 3 tables including me .... And that was quote "slammed" for 6 people ... Sorry will not be returning.
Good hot breakfast & very good bakery! Service was awesome! Chef came out to make sure all was ok. Nice
Prices to high for what you get, can't get orders right
Great subs
Nice little place! Solid food, good atmosphere, friendly staff and doesn't take itself too seriously.
Has gone downhill since tori left. No one else has good customer service skills. Disappointed. Can’t say I’ll be back again.
Is a cafe. Great food, low prices. You order at the counter and food is delivered to your table. Food is hot, fresh and delicious. Not a big city hipster place, just down home food and folks.
Great little place for brunch in Cody. Great home made food and good service. When you place your order at the counter you are given an object to mark your table. Ours was a green pull toy.
Had a nice sandwich and ice cream here, then the owner, sitting as a customer, accosted us about bussing our own table before we had even stood up! Outrageous! Skip this one, the owners has NO customer service savvy.
We had an early lunch. Decent food, about what I would expect for the price. Very affordable for a tourist town. Staff was very very friendly and seemed like it's a local's type of place. Not polished but we loved it. Cinnamon roll was excellent.
Little dingy but kind of cute anyways. Good ice cream!
Had breakfast here and OMG was it good!!! I'm sad I live so far away from this tasty food!!!
Stopped in for breakfast while visiting town. Ordered 2 plates of eggs Benedict with home fries. The eggs Benedict came out and the hollandaise sauce was separating, the eggs appeared to have been microwaved (tasted like it too), and the English muffin on the bottom was very soggy and rubbery. like Other reviews made it seem like a great place to stop but DO NOT order eggs benedict. At least the deep fried frozen potatoes served with the meal were good!
Love this little spot i try to get there anytime im in Cody.
ESPRESSO, ! And great food and service. Great mellow acoustic guitar live .... wow!
Nothing we should have walked back out when we came in and the tables were piled high and it looked like a tornado had struck. The young lady at the counter was doing her best while the young man was standing around with his face hanging out. When we left the place was still a mess and low and behold the young man was in the alley smoking a cigarette! The owner definitely needs to stop by. I don't why anyone would rate this place a 5. Don't believe we will ever go back.
Service can be very slow. Food is ok. Prices are fair.
If you need something to eat quick
Ice cream! Need I say more?
Very good Ice Cream
Great homemade soup
Fantastic. Great prices. Came here hoping to get breakfast for lunch for my 2 year old who kept asking for "Bacon and French toast please". They ended up making a custom order of a single piece of each for her! Not crowded and down to earth feel.
Nice place to eat ,breakfast was great!
Great atmosphere, reasonably priced.
Good ice cream and fast friendly servicd.
(Translated by Google) Very long to serve Food not extra at all (Original) Très long à servir Nourriture pas extra du tout
The perfect abundance of bacon on the double BLT. Loved it
A little pricey... But a special treat for my kids when we're in town! Good memories!
This is Cody's little hidden gem. Fresh, homemade buns for the burgers which are tasty. The homemade broccoli cheddar cheese soup is worth a visit just for it. Super friendly staff. There were a couple of unusual characteristics of Peter's Cafe that I found interesting. First, customers dish their own soup. That was different. And, I don't know if it is expected, but customers bus their own table. My wife and I observed other patrons cleaning up after themselves and putting their dirty dishes in a kitchen tote at the back of the restaurant. We followed their example and bussed our table. Again, I don't know if this is expected or just something that the patrons choose to do. Overall I would rate Peter's Cafe a 4.5.
Breakfast sandwich was awesome!
Really good
The food here is quite good...if you ever get it. We visited during the peak of tourist season and they didn't have their act together. The excuse was that they were shirt handed. Honestly, I don't care. I just want my food. The cook was bringing food out, he was messing up orders and forgetting whose food was whose. I ate all of my fries before he managed to get my gluten free food correct. We were here over an hour for a "quick lunch". You can't tell me that in this town there isn't someone willing to wait tables. I can't say I'd be back.
Great food, nice little place.
Great place to eat. Great deserts and terrific soups!
Nice food and staff.
Lets be honest here. Most restaurants get their food in boxes off a refrigerated truck. Its a commodity. The better establishments, however, know how to create, for example, a good hamburger by soaking it in a few little extras whereas the majority of restaurants will just nuke it and the result is a dry, rather tasteless chunk of inferior meat. Peter's Cafe and Bakery ( I saw no sign of a bakery) falls into the latter category. Ho hum. It doesn't take a culinary school graduate to toast a bagel and spread tuna salad on it. However, the reason for my low rating on this place is primarily because of it's unhygienic practices. After handling money, the sandwich maker then picked up the bagels bare handed. I politely requested that she wear gloves or at least wash her hands. She appeared upset and grumpily ran a few drops of water across her hands and dried them on an obviously dirty towel. No sign of hand soap was evident. I'm surprised by the high ratings for this cafe.
Great food, cool little books at the tables. Quirky environment. Fun place to eat.
A cozy, happy place with good fresh food at great value - popular with locals as well as travellers.
Delicious small cafe! Great home cooked food.
Good food. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone visiting Cody.
I came for breakfast. I wouldn’t say there was anything special about the breakfast. The service was excellent and efficient. The place seems a bit unclean. The ketchup bottles in the table were nasty. The salt and pepper shakers not clean either. If you want a classic greasy simple no frills American breakfast this is the place.
Great food, great service. Highly recommend.
Food was good and the atmosphere was great.
Absolutely the best breakfast in town and the guitar player just made it a great experience.
I thought it was a little pricey for this type of place. Young personnel behind the counter were friendly. Traveling with therapy dog that was frowned upon even when she crawled under table away from customers.
Warm, friendly and a great breakfast, a lovely way to start our morning in Cody!
Would definitely recommend the biscuits with sausage gravy
Nice place, different. Wasn't bad. Pretty good food
