The food at E Leaven was very good (we had lunch). They have a sizeable menu, but be warned they transition to dinner from 3pm to 4pm so you can only order cold sandwiches and salads during this period. The meat on my sandwich appeared to be unprocessed, and the bread was wonderful. The chips were a bit old (they make them fresh) but were still good. The facilities were also very nice and maintained.

E.leaven is a great place to go if you're looking for a quick stop to grab breakfast before a day on the river or if you're just looking for a place to have a nice relaxing lunch. I would personally recommend the chocolate chip pancakes (they're amazing). Great location right off the town square and very clean. Overall a great restaurant.

Utterly disappointed, I was expecting something good, menu looks good, but the food was below average, comparable to Panera bread quality. Singapore salad was lame, omelet was smothered in oily cheese, steak sandwich was poor quality slop, side salad was warm, kids Mac and cheese was plastic . Service was disappointing they made a mistake to a sandwich order and even though I brought it to their attention they did not offer to fix or replace the sandwich, staff seems not to care.

Great food and friendly staff. Awesome $5 breakfast specials and $7 lunch specials. Lots of room to sit, food comes out quick and is clean and delicious. Try the grilled cheese with pesto and tomato soup.

I orded their southwestern omlet and it was great but the potatoes weren't even warm and very tasteless. My wife's french toast was cold and the fruit with it was hard and unripe..... Pricey for the quality of food for sure.

Bad experience. First they got the order wrong, then in correcting the eggs, they didn't warm the rest of the plate, they didn't have butter for the cold toast. By that time I was beyond caring, it was a quick stop on our way home, and the quicker I left there the better. My wife's meal was fine though.

The pancakes are not worth it. The 10oz apple juice for $3.75 is outrageous. Didn't know until it was already paid for. The cashier tired to argue about my total instead of going over it like the supervisor did and corrected the extra charged item and explain everything. 3 little pancakes with fruit that we don't eat was not worth the $9 each. I will not be back.

The breakfast is AMAZING. Everything we had was great and nothing was over 10$. I can especially recommend the Rancheros Breakfast, it is something different but very tasty. The coffee was good too, which is not very common in the U.S. If you are in town looking for breakfast (they have lunch and dinner food too though), you should check this out.

Jackson native here. Been coming to this place since I was 13, and I am almost twenty. I happened to stop in today around 12 and boy was it a mess- they took over 30 minutes to deliver one chicken wrap and a side, which happened to be the wrong wrap. The kitchen told us it didn't get swapped on accident, they hadn't even made it, meaning the girl who took our order probably didn't listen carefully. To start, the European girl's attitude at the register was very bland. She took our order and it was fine, nothing spectacular and nothing terrible. We went to sit down and waited quite a long time for a simple dish, and the place wasn't even busy. My family has been in there before when the line has been out the door and they have always delivered within a reasonable amount of time. It must've been crazy back in the kitchen, despite only having about 5-7 tickets to get out the door. It seemed like we weren't the only ones having bad luck, as the couple right after us didn't get their food after more than half an hour, and even when we left after about an hour they still hadn't received food. The family sitting right behind us got the wrong order as well. What truly inspired me to write this review is the terrible manner in which the European girl treated a customer today-she told an Asian customer that was waiting for more than an hour, who was about to miss her tour bus, that she couldn't control the kitchen and that she should've just "gone to McDonalds" if she wanted fast service. I kindly told the customer that we got a refund for our order, and suggested she ask for the same, to which the European girl lost her cool and started raising her voice, "I CAN'T do that, my manager won't let me!". Which was complete garbage, as he himself came out and gave us a refund for messing up our order. He also gave us the wrong wrap for free, which was a nice touch. The staff was a mess, and was not prepared to handle a regular amount of people. Overall, I would recommend going elsewhere for food, such as Persephone, which has better tasting food and better service. Sad to see this happen to a childhood classic.

Quiet little eatery off the downtown area in Jackson. Sort of a cross between fast food and full service I guess. Place order at counter, serve yourself coffee and water. Food brought to table. Food was hot and tasted good, great choice as we were on our way out of town.
