This Bakery belongs to the category of Pizza restaurant.
With the property under construction it looks closed but I assure you they are not. I would say they have the best pizza in town and during the summer nothing beats their patio. Also during the evenings they have the best music venue!
This does not even deserve a full start. The service was horrible. The table had no silverware nor napkins. The “chef” messes up our orders for the pizza. Made me wait another 15 more mins because I they got the wrong pizza and all hey could say was “oh well, we do have 2 new chefs”. When we finally got the pizza it was so burned. Server forgot one of our drinks and we had to ask 2 other servers to finally get our Diet Pepsi. Our server never checked on us, the entire hour and a half we were there. The restaurant was basically empty and well staffed. And they will manage to messed up the order and forget our drinks and us. So sad!!
Great food, great service! Highly recommend!
How have things changed. Let's start with taking a great architectural place and destroying to "expand". Then, let's take what was a solid, relaxed atmosphere and make it all difficult with poor service and subpar food. Seriously, what happened?
The pizza was delicious and the staff was friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back.
They were out of two items and running out of a third, drinks took over 15 minutes to arrive in a half packed house, a side of chili was $5, food came out 10 minutes apart (we ordered together), and the waitress offered no solutions other than talking to her boss. I'm extremely disappointed and will not return.
Went for trivia night. Very crowded, hard to hear the emcee. Food was delicious and drinks were great. Nice back patio was refreshing on an August summer evening.
Excellent pizza, very good crust and toppings. Fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, breads are also very good here.
Great place but crazy slow and poor service
Great hangout. Outdoor seating with fire pits and live entertainment, goods food and drinks, good location.
Great service plus great food. First time visit. Tried the cream cheese jalapeno poppers, goat cheese stuffed dates, pesto chicken pizza and "best ever" pizza along with some of the craft beers on tap. Everything was delicious. Continuous great service for our entire visit. Casual atmosphere. Gets busy between 6 and 8 PM. Definitely adding to our list of go to places in Laramie.
They are a bar that functions as a deli and artisan pizzeria by day. The food is creative and incorporates a trendy flair. The deli goods are made from boar's head products and the pizza is stone oven pizza. The prices are a little spendy for what you get.
Great atmosphere, but the food and drinks are incredibly overpriced. I would go here so much more often if it was just priced like other restaurants in town.
Best place to catch live music, soak up some Vitamin D (outdoor seating) or catch up with friends over craft cocktails.
Seems like a nice local spot, good food and a bakery on site. Pretty nice atmosphere and I really liked the wood furniture.
Stopped by on a Sunday with my family. Very cute, yard-like outdoor dining. Employees were great, but the service was slow. Probably the time to bake all the pizzas. Bread/dough was great, pizzas were just okay, especially for the price. We didn't try the bakery goods.
Great service and food and fun atmosphere. Outdoor area is the best and the wood fire pizzas and sandwiches are YUM!!
Great lunch experience. Wood fired Chipotle chicken and bacon sandwich was excellent. Great outdoor seating and atmosphere.
Pizza that will melt your love for cheese.
Fantastic pizza. Great beer selection. Great people.
Took my just turned 21 year old daughter to the Alibi for her first bar experience. Excellent craft cocktails and food. Had a very nice time.
Never disappointed form their wood fired cuisine.
Great atmosphere and great food! Top notch cook!
Great drinks, beers, and good food.
Went during the summer to listen to a band. The waiter was very friendly however the food was horrid. Ordered a chicken pizza and i'm not sure what would have been dryer eating the chicken or eating a piece of wood. Tried to order some drinks including a lemon drop martini (the wife's drink) and were told the bartenders don't know how to make anything that's not specifically on the menu (even though they offer a lemon drop shot). Ended up ordering two of the same drinks only to have two different looking drinks brought to our table.
On a long road trip back and forth across the country we found some interesting little gems. This is one of them. It's the classic local dive that has an interesting menu and then delivers on the quality as well. Ended up trying several of the more unusual items and they were all delicious. The bacon wrapped jalapeños and stuffed mushrooms weren't what we expected, they were a delightful surprise. Give this place a try.
Great Food & Service!
I love the alibi because there baked goods are out of this world !
Always great!
One of my favorite places! Great cocktails with fresh fruit, amazing woodfire pizzas, delicious jalapeño poppers. Great atmosphere and live music twice a week!
Wow!!! Delicious sandwiches and bacon wrapped jalapenos!
Brought our three meals out 10 min apart. When I asked why the waiter told me they are "casual." What does that even mean? Overpriced for mediocre food.
In the battle for best food in Laramie, this place is top 3. Can't go wrong with food cooked in a wood stove!
Love it! Absolutely out of this world delicious food!
Delicious wood fire pizza and sandwiches on homemade bread. Careful many are spicy hot. Live music in the summer on their patio. Take home a loaf of bread or test to take home.
Great food, nice craft beer selection, and a friendly staff. The perfect alibi.
The brick oven pizza is delicious! I'm not a huge fan of most pizza crusts, but The Alibi is doing something right. I've tried 3 of the pizzas so far and all were amazing. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.
Best brunch in town!
Quality that won't bleed your wallet and pizzas that will leave you planning your next visit, The Alibi Pub is a guaranteed crowd pleaser. The wood smoke provides a phenomenal olfactory backdrop to a killer patio and genuine, friendly staff ties a bow on the already solid experience. Hit this place up if you are in the area, it is well worth your time.
The back patio area is really nice during the summer and their beer selection is good. However, the owners are often rude to guest and constantly drinking.
Incredible breads, brunch & service! Eager to return!
Awesome food, and awesome owners. Great place to hang outside in the summer, and listen to some music. Definitely a must stop place in Laramie.
Nicely remodeled. Drinks are good as always. I'll have to try the pizza next time.
I've been to the alibi before but tonight's experience was stunningly bad. Almost funny now that I've had time to reflect. Sure it was busy , but we sat at the bar for almost 15 minutes before a bartender took our order. Even though she'd taken several orders from folks on either side of us in the meantime. Another 10 minutes to get a glass of water and a mixed drink. 15 more minutes before they brought my buddy the wrong meal, and then told him it's his fault because he ordered the wrong thing. More waiting for my meal, a chefs salad. But they finally delivered a kale Caesar salad, and I'm allergic to kale. No apologies or telling me it's my fault though. Much discussion with the bartender somewhere behind the bar away from us, back to the kitchen went the salad. Then a different server brought the same salad back to me. More discussion . I wanted the dressing so they let me keep that, salad back to the kitchen. And guess what? The salad came back for a third time! I could tell because it didn't have the little cup of dressing. No sign of the bartender of course. Finally yet a different server came out with the correct salad. It would have been so much more enjoyable if we could have had a refill of the water's at least, and if I had been asked I would have paid for another mixed drink or two . Alas, no bartender. I rate tonight as a 1 star because zero isn't an option.
Great food and a great place to catch televised basketball games!
The atmosphere was good and the food and drinks were reasonable, we were there on the ugly sweater night, the band was perfect for the occasion but it was a little cramped, overall it was a good time.
We had Easter brunch at Alibi this morning. Although the place was only about half full, our waitress repeatedly rushed away from us, before we could ask questions, place drink orders, etc. Two of us ordered a savory dish and then explicitly said that we wanted the croissant french toast (served with ice cream) as a second course, after we had had our eggs. The food arrived and we had to ask for and wait for cutlery. Then, the french toast arrived before one of us had even received our eggs. We immediately told the second waitress, who brought us the food and later said she was the manager, that a mistake had been made. We wanted the french toast later and could she please put it somewhere warm. She asked us several times what she should do with it, and we repeatedly said to put it somewhere warm. When we were done with the eggs, the first waitress brought us our french toast… that had been put in the refridgerator. This meant that the food was completely cold. The waitress, of course, disappeared before we could say anything. When she finally returned, we complained about the cold french toast. She said that although she had heard us say something about a second course, she wasn’t really paying attention. And now, could only offer to throw the food away (and of course, keep the dish on the bill). When we asked for a new order of french toast, she said that she could only do that, if she charged us a second time. We said that we did not agree with paying twice for one meal, when she made the mistake. So, she leaves in a huff, taking the plate with her. We assume that we would not get the french toast and wondered what the bill would look like. To our surprise, we got a new order of french toast, but with no comment, no apology. And then to our bigger surprise, we were actually charged twice for that one plate of french toast. And the bill had other surprises. I had ordered some tomato and avocado for my baby and assumed I would have to pay for it. But I did not realize I would be paying $4 for three small slices of tomato and three slices of avocado. To top things off, we – a party of five – were charged 20% gratuity, although there was no note on the menu that parties of five or more would be automatically charged 20% gratuity. I asked to speak to the manager and complained about the double french toast and the gratuity. She said that they “always charge the 20% gratuity when a party takes a whole big top”. Except that the waitress did not mention this at the beginning of the meal and there was no note on the menu. She returned with the bill and said that she was “able to take off the second french toast” – as if she had done us a huge favor. It was an incredibly disappointing experience. The food – once we had it – was excellent, but we will never put up with such piss poor, unapologetic service again.
Fun place with great atmosphere. We happen to be there on Trivia night. Wood fired pizza was good and they have very interesting appetizers.
Visited in off season. So band stand was closed. Restaurant and bar was open but too cold for outdoor dining. Staff was very friendly and the food was fresh made awesome. Recommend the house made breads for take home.
Stopped in for lunch on long trip. Greeted as we walked in the door. They are putting large addition on building but everything was very clean and comfortable. A little too cold for outdoors but meal was amazing, veggie pizza and several sandwiches and a scone from their bakery! Great place and we will definitely stop by the next time we are near Larramie!
I ordered both the chicken pesto pizza and the pork pizza. The chicken pesto pizza was bland, and the pork pizza tasted like the ingredients were weeks old. Domino’s makes a better pizza for half the price.
Great outdoor atmosphere. Poor customer service.
One of my favorite restaurants. The breadsticks and Greek salad are amazing! It’s usually pretty crowded here on weekend nights but the service is consistently good. They also do a lot of take out, which also has great customer service.
Pretty good size pizza. We had the Fun Guy pizza and some wings. The pizza crust is very similar to the Yemmen bread I had in Brooklyn NY. There's an outdoor seating area, which is perfect if traveling with doggies. Plus a bakery!
Absolutely love Alibi! We're so lucky to live down the street from this "gem". Remember that just because sandwich isn't in the name, doesn't mean they aren't delicious! Try one of the Italian options. You wont be disappointed.
Delicious food and great atmosphere.
This quaint joint had good food, good service and all around a good experience.
Best sandwiches and pizza in town. Truly unexpected.
Great place. Will definitely be going back.
In all honesty, it wasn’t the best pizza I have ever tasted. I can get better tasting pizza for a cheaper price. Also the service was terrible. They did not give us napkins or silverware to begin with. Our server only came by once to tell us a pizza had been messed up. It is ridiculous how I had to wait for them to bring me my food, to be told I’m they were sorry it was messed up, not take it back to redo it, and not even get it taken off the check. And to top it off my pizza was burnt. They charge $1 for ranch and also charge for boxes. If I could I would rate this about less than 1/4 of a star. It was just awful.
Great food, friendly people, great outdoor eating area.
It's a tad on the pricey side, but this little neighborhood pub has turned into one of the best cafes in town. Their food is excellent. They are a bakery now. The atmosphere is great. The backyard and patio are really nice in the summer. This business has evolved over the last ten years into something really special.
Amazing fresh, local, creative foods and cool atmosphere. The patio is great!
This place is great. Awesome food and wonderful atmosphere.
Good pizza, good service.
The food is amazing!! All bread is made from scratch, all fresh ingredients and a nice variety. I go almost every time I'm in town.
Great great good, great staff, great armosphere, great deli and bakery.
Best pizza and italian appetizers in town. I wish we have this pizza in Lincoln, NE!
Best sandwiches and drinks ever!!!
Excellent baked goods and bread, to-go or eat-in. Backyard-style seating is fun and relaxed. Good pizza, sandwich and salad options. Cocktail special of the day is always pleasant and cheap.
The Alibi has the best baked goods around. We had 8 people stay with us for homecoming and I ordered several different breakfast baked goods along with their amazing breads to serve over the weekend. Everyone raved about how good they were. We also love the sandwiches and pizza's. The new pizza oven and remodel has been a positive addition to the Alibi.
Their trivia night is great and drinks are delicious
Some of the best food in town. Extremely fresh every-time you go in and there is no where else in town like it!
Always the freshest, highest quality food (pizzas, hot and cold sandwiches, charcuterie platters, etc). The cocktails are amazing and well crafted. This is the place I take out of towners to impress them on Laramie. Weekend events all the time!
Great food and amazing servers!
The food here is really fantastic, fresh deli sandwiches on house made bread. Do keep in mind that this is strictly a bar that serves food, there is no family friendly dining area and the whole place is 21+. In the warmer months the Alibi has a huge outdoor seating area with fire pits and one of the best music venues in town. But it all comes at a cost, be prepared to spend more on cocktails than almost any other bar in Laramie.
Great food back yard area is awesome
Their food, like their fish tacos, is fantastic. But the best is their baked goods. Stop by!
Great beer selection. Great wood fired pizza. A wonderful stop over when heading back to Colorado.
Great food and patio. I would love to go here much more often if it weren't for the prices. I usually like the service and employees, but had a terrible experience with a douche male bartender recently. He laughed at me for trying to order a martini (apparently he's too special to make classic cocktails) and spoke in an incredibly condescending tone for our whole interaction. Tall white male prick I hope gets fired so I can enjoy going back there someday.
Fantastic place. We had great beer and top notch pizza. The staff was all super friendly and advised us on local attractions. This place is a gem.
Good food and drinks. A bit pricey but worth it.
The people were wonderful. The service was great. I had a wonderful time. Want impressed by their pizza but the rest made up for it by a mile. This was during WhatFest, a yearly event. They do have fun evening through the year though.
Great food, just wish they had better drink selection on tap.
Wonderful atmosphere, great food and good drinks. Love sitting on the patio.
Some of the best food in town, it may seem like it takes awhile but when you are making everything fresh and putting it in a wood fire grill it's just right!
The food is alright is you like expensive wood fired (slightly burnt) pizza. They do have amazing stuffed dates and jalapenos and the drinks are yummy! Their bartenders are sweet and service from them is great. I saw the owner once- not that impressed hope it was just a bad day.
The Alibi is a great place to spend an afternoon and evening or breakfast on the mornings when their Bakery puts out some of the best stuff Laramie has to offer! Your beer will come in a can or out of the tap that's just the way what they do it at The Alibi. They get the best music on their outdoor patio year round. Try not to miss Geeks Who Drink trivia night! you can park your bike right out in front the Wi-Fi is free and the service is fun and fantastic.
Granola heaven nestled in the bohemian oasis that is Laramie.
The Alibi has great drinks, great food, and great service
Darn.. first off let me say I don’t agree with not saying something to the restaurant first if you are dissatisfied before writing a review online but in this situation I did. For the last three Sunday’s I have been going to alibi for brunch and been beyond happy and all three times I have ordered the same dish, the avocado toast with bacon. Today I went in ordered the same dish and received a much smaller( two smaller pieces of toast and two pieces of bacon versus three) but that’s not the main issue, my toast is so charred and burned( photo attached) it was inedible. I kindly asked the server if she could possibly get me two new pieces of bread and she took it to the kitchen manager to get the issue fixed but quickly returned to say that was the way the dish was served and they wouldn’t be doing anything to remedy the burnt bread. So I was charged full price and without an apology and sent on my way... I am so sad that instead of cutting another loaf of bread that was less burned( I get it! You cook in a wood oven... there might be some char on breads/ pastries/ pizzas) or even sending the kitchen manager over they sent the server( who seemed new) over to tell me basically to screw off and made no effort to apologize. I would hope your restaurant would be packed with brunch guests if you act that pompous but unfortunately they weren’t busy at all...
Great service, great atmosphere!
High quality ingredients make all the difference!
Two local chefs own bakery and pub.
Wonderful flavor in wood fired chicken Chipotle sandwich. Pickles are tasty and add to the dish.
Staff made the visit Great!
Great food. Slightly overprice but delicious.
Great food and drink. Outdoor area. Good service.
Super nice people. Amazing pastry and bread. They put out awesome food with the wood fired pizza oven. This is now a must for me whenever I make it home to Laramie.
Folks....if you don't go to Alibi for a great time..shame on you.I went to the other bars and no buzz..the usual usual. I heard music...searing honest blues from somewhere..I had to check it out. Incredible place!!! Excellent BAR...great music , packed with great people and the best food (wood fired stone outside oven). Outside venue with great vibes. Honestly people, you must experience this amazing place.
Really great staff, drinks, and food. This place is especially great in the summer when you can sit outside comfortably by a fire pit with live music.
A lot of fun good food and service
Fire oven pizza fabulous-and very reasonable for what you get. Creme brule' pricey but simply out of this world! Nice indoor outdoor atmosphere makes this a good venue to try.
This is a really cool place! The sandwich I got was so freaking good. I am really happy I stopped in.
This place is extremely good.
Great place for a big gathering. Lots of room, nice fire pit, good atmosphere and the food ....looked great. Couldn't eat since being gluten free.
Good spot with a yard and scrummy pizza. Pricey
Tina is the best! ElvisComedy(DoT)com
Great service, amazing staff, and delicious food that goes from mouthwatering sandwiches to freshly fire cooked pizzas of any variety! The handmade drinks are inexpensive for the amazing quality you're receiving, and there's so many to choose from! Highly recommend this place to anyone!
Really cool atmosphere with the outdoor seating and live music on occasion. Also, great pizza!
The Alibi has great food and the outdoor patio is super cool!
The food was fantastic and the ladies were even better! I’m glad I came here and enjoyed the company. They were fantastic! Fantastic. They even washed their hands.. unlike the rest of Wyoming. ❤️
In Laramie for four days and this was the best meal I had. Besides having wonderful pizza and other baked goods (all made in the woodfire oven!), everyone who works there is friendly and the owner gave me a tour of their ovens and told me about their plans for expansion. They love what they do and are great at it!
Still undergoing renovation but is still open. Looks like it will be amazing when they finish.
Best pizza we have had in a very long time.
Having one of the most unique and rustic atmospheres in terms of outdoor seating, as well as fun cultured nighttime callings from live music to trivia, the Alibi is a great place to hang out and have a few, although food prices to product ratio may leave you feeling slighted, even though their pizza look cute, looks can only get you so far.
Great local gem within the Gem City!
The staff is always really great here. The food and drinks are always wonderful. Consistently on point.
The pizza was amazing and the jalapeno poppers were some of the best I've ever had! Amber was super sweet and friendly. I live in Denver but might have to make the 2 hour drive back just for some of those poppers!
This is definitely one of the better restaurant choices in Laramie. Especially so because the food is fresh and healthy. It's a nice, clean, well decorated place with a great patio, and fantastic beer selection. I didn't give it 5 stars for the following reasons: The food always slightly dissapoints. If it's a sandwich, they're under-seasoned. The food is missing flavor and depth. The baked goods are (mostly) made with a sourdough base which is kind of weird for certain pastries, and that's also a bit of disappointment to bite into something expecting layers of sweetness and it's got a sour tinge to it. Service is always great! The bread is wildly popular to take home a loaf. Their lemonades and non-alcohol drinks are also really delicious.
Absolutely in love with the Alibi! Hands down the best pizza that I have ever had! I love the verity of options they offer for pizza as well as salads and sandwhichs. The Alibi offers an expansive drink menu. Very welcoming environment with spectacular table service. I highly reccomend the Alibi to anyone and everyone and will going back very soon!
Great atmosphere Very Mountain town, excellent beer selection, and wood-fired food.
Kraut burgers we're excellent! Great to be able to bring our dogs on Sunday.
The best place in Laramie! Food is great, beer is better!
Lovely pizza. ..good bruschetta ..... Nice beer selection. Had a nice date there.... very friendly staff.... excellent bread
My favorite hangout in Laramie. I've been a patron before they started serving food. Great atmosphere. Adventurous bar tenders. Great outdoor patio. Nice selection of craft beers plus the basic working man beers. Live music when the weather permits.
Nice place for lunch. I had the Great White pizza. Great fire roasted crust. Also had the bacon wrapped figs. Excellent!
Awesome pizza. Super fan noo with friends playing trivia
Known for pizza but jeez those dates were great.
This is a pizza place that is taking over a bar. The food quality is simply amazing. As a plus, the fact that it is a bar allows you to get fantastic drinks. They don't use premade sour... they start with lemons and sugar. Go Here.
Others I know love this place. Personally, my wife and I hate it. The outdoor seating is the only thing we like, it is the only place in Laramie with true outdoor seating, so it is great for that. However, their food is subpar to inedible (when you burn a pizza, you should remake it not serve it and then still charge the customer without an apology) and their music is too loud (you can't even talkto the person standing next to you). So if you want a nice outdoor area and don't care about anything else, then this is your spot.
Nice selection of cocktails and wood fired grill items. Best outdoor seating in town, and often hosts live music during the summer.
Great food and a classic watering hole.
Had an awesome time!!!
The name, "Alibi Bar," is but an historical artifact. There's nothing seedy about this place. Everything is fresh and baked on premises. The beer is cold.
Great pizza, they didn't dissapoint this aficionado.
Strawberry salad was full of berries and very delicious. Veggie pizza was prefect. Looking forward to coming back.
Great fresh food! Good bread.
Food and service is consistently on point. Creative menu offerings that deliver. Great place with great food and great ambiance.
One of the best cups of coffee I've ever enjoyed. The cranberry chocolate scone was delicious. This is a definite do-over!
Wonderful outdoor dining, wood fired pizza, artisan charcuterie and meats. Gourmet salads. Possibly Laramie's best bakery. Outdoor stage with local music and firepits, delicious food, cocktails and cornhole? A thousand times yes!
The people who hang out here are pretty rad. The drinks and bar service needs work.
Hot chocolate was great pizza was not so good. Very burnt and not enough cheese
The food here is outstanding! The kitchen is a actually a trailer out back of the restaurant where they cook the most amazing pizza and hot sandwiches! The "Pork Love" pizza is amazing as is the Burrata appetizer--ours was with proscuitto and fig jam. Oh, and the charcuterie is deeelish too! There is a quaint outdoor seating area out back. Fabulous service. Oddly, they also sell beer...and they have a bakery with breads to die for. In short, you gotta go here...
Great food with equally good service. Looking forward to going back again.
Extremely good bread, sandwiches and pizza.
Incredible food and fantastic drink selection, not only for the area but would be able to hold it's own on the east coast in an expensive area. If you're in Laramie you HAVE to visit. Try Thursday trivia night for fun times and discount draft beer.
Ethan and crew at Alibi are always on the list to visit when in Laramie!
Pub-turned-brick-oven BAKERY and gourmet dessert spot. Probably the fanciest desserts this side of Denver? Esp on Saturdays.
Woodfired pizza is The blandest pizza I have ever eaten. They need to take some notes from New York and Philadelphia if they’re going to do this kind of pizza.
Went at 930am for the Mothers day brunch.(they opened at 9am They were not busy but we're out of 1/2 the menu items on the brunch menu. Service was slow, 3 out if 7 in our group we're done before the rest of us got our food.
I had gone to this restaurant for four years on Sundays as they have a 'Dog Day' there. It was only recently that they asked for a credit card to sit down and before ordering. I found this to be quite insulting . An enjoyable lunch was ruined for us so we went to the Bunkhouse where our patronage was appreciated!
The Alibi is awesome. Great food and super awesome atmosphere. I've never had bad service there, even when it's super slammed busy. They do a great job of taking care of everyone and are super honest about wait time. Wood fired food takes a little extra time when it's busy.
Very cool outside space with great pizza and cold beer - some remodeling going on around the building (7/2019) but don’t let that stop you from going in!!!
Good food. The pizza was more on the traditional side of pizza. Very good and the service was great!
Their pizza is always delicious and the service is great too. I'm lactose intolerant, and they allowed me to substitute my cheese at no further cost. I would highly recommend this restaurant and bar.
Great live music super family atmosphere
