We used Simple Simon a year ago for our wedding cake. We froze the top to save for our one year anniversary. I was so upset with the cake the first time, this time was no better. My experience from a year ago: My husband and I took in a photo of a cake that we had found online. It was totally out of the ordinary. The lady we spoke with told us that she would have to order a special stencil and she'd have to practice in order to get it right. She assured us that there would be no problem with this. We had asked if we needed a fondant instead of regular frosting due to the design. She said that we would not need the special fondant. I put all of my trust in this lady (not to mention $500). Our wedding day came. Everything was going great until I saw the cake. It was an embarrassment. I had talked this cake up to everyone because it was going to be so awesome. Awesome it was not. It was the complete opposite. So the cake tasted great, but looked horrible. I wrote a review later on on their facebook page describing all of this. To make it short, the response I got was that it was my fault for not getting the fondant and that she told me the cake would look nothing like the picture and pretty much I was a liar. I would not recommend this business to anyone. Ever. Take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of other bakeries that will treat you with respect and that have much better products.

Simple Simon was recommended to us for cupcakes for our wedding last minute. We had chosen another bakery originally and they were going to charge us over $600 for cupcakes. I called Simple Simon very last minute(a week and a half before the wedding) and they were able to accommodate us for a MUCH more reasonable price. They were so nice to work with and the cupcakes were great! We got so many complements on them. I would definitely recommend them and order from them in the future.

Only bakery I go to and I absolutely love this place! Parking is a bit weird but dont let that stop you from going in and grabbing a sweet. There cupcakes are so filling and super big. Plus they are only 2.50 a piece! They have so many varieties! Theres an older lady that works there and she is super helpful and super sweet. The muffins are pretty good too if youre looking for something more "healthy"

Simple Simon did the dessert bar for our wedding in October and it was incredible! Our personal cake was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. The desserts were delicious. Several of our guests asked for to go boxes so they could take some with them. They let you borrow items for display and deliver them to your venue. Once you return their items they refund the $75 delivery fee. Honestly cannot say enough good things about them. Highly highly recommend them! Get the mini pies and cheesecake, you will not be sorry!

I agree with one of the comments below, its just nasty, bottom line. I live near this bakery and I almost never go there. The cookies are way too sweet, donuts have an oily fake taste to them. Not the kind of place id recommend to anyone i know. The service is friendly so sometimes ill go in for a can of soda, and the hamburger buns aren't horrible either but stay away from the bakery especially the fried stuff.

we used Simple Simon for our wedding on May 1st of this year and all I can say is everything from start to finish was amazing. from the service we received the minute we walked in until the day everything was set up at our wedding every person was so professional. we did an entire dessert table that blew us away even though we had seen pictures they outdid themselves our guests went crazy for it we had over 300 people at the wedding and I have received nothing but amazing comments about how great everything tasted and how so many more family members will be using the entire dessert idea instead of just a wedding cake for their events in the future. a huge thank you to the staff for making our day special. I got married this past summer and we decided to go with a variety of desserts instead of just cake. We had tiers of petit fours, cupcakes (three different flavors), cookies initialed with our last name, cheesecake, cake pops (two flavors) and cream puffs. It was absolutely beautiful and was so delicious! The guests loved the variety. The leftovers were used at the gift opening the next day and the rest was put in the freezer. When we pulled the leftovers out of the freezer weeks later, they still tasted delicious! We would recommend Simple Simon to anyone and the cost was very reasonable.

Would highly recommend for your wedding! They have tons of options at fair prices compared to other bakers in the area. We were able to customize a small cutting cake for our wedding and then chose from many flavors of cupcakes and cheesecakes for a dessert bar at our wedding. Oh my goodness!!!! I contacted Dawn at Simple Simon and through email we contracted to have them do a wedding cake for my son’s wedding. I am disabled and cannot travel from my home to the bakery so I never actually went to the store. I knew what flavors I wanted for my new daughter in law and I had a rough idea of the cake I wanted made. My husband is a talented artist so I told him what I wanted and he sketched the cake for me. Dawn had me send her the flowers to be used because we needed a particular type of orchid. When the cake was delivered to our venue, I about cried!! It was so perfect!!! Every flower in its place, the custom cake topper fit so perfectly. And I was in awe at how beautiful and perfect this cake truly was. My daughter in law had no idea what her cake might look like. We kept it a secret the entire time. She cried because it was exactly what she had hoped for and more. The cake was so moist and delicious. All of the guests loved it. Everyone wanted to know where we got it from. I never have met the folks at Simple Simon but if I ever need another cake for any reason.....I will not hesitate to call or email them. Thank you to everyone involved on this order. It is exactly what we wanted!!!

Always friendly service, delicious baked goods, and extremely wallet-friendly prices. I needed a snack that could be cut up and shared for my toddler's daycare, and I decided on a loaf of sweet bread. The woman behind the counter helped me select the cinnamon loaf, and then went and found a label for the bread so that I could take it into daycare for the classroom. Extremely friendly and helpful. That bread also made amazing french toast, FYI.

The baked goods are very good, however I would have to say that they are very disorganized. I used them for desserts for my wedding and I emailed in my final order and they came back with a order that was from the original conversation. Each email I sent them with questions, the questions weren't answered until I asked 3 more times. Never received an email with an invoice, and when I called to pay my balance, they expected me to know the remaining balance without ever being told, even when I asked for it in prior emails.

I ordered my daughter's birthday cake in advance from another local bakery with very specific requests and even provided an image of what I was aiming for. The end result was a complete disaster. We called Simple Simon to see if they could help us out in emergency. Not only were they totally accommodating, they completely understood what I was asking for and provided EXACTLY that in a mere 1.5 hours. The cake was awesome looking, great tasting and the customer service was OUTSTANDING. Thank you so much for fixing a very important part of any birthday. My daughter loved it!
