The graduation cake I ordered can only be described as embarrassing. Unfortunately a friend picked it up and I didn't see it until right before the party. Shame on you for thinking this passes as acceptable!

Stopped in here while visiting the city and grabbed an elephant ear. The bakery is small and designed only for pickups, there is no seating but everything is fresh and it smells good in here. This is apparently a bakery with history that has been doing the same products for a very long time. Where it lacks in innovation it makes up for tried and true recipes that work and have been working for many decades. The lady at the counter was forthright with what she knew about the city and about her store, which was refreshing and informative.

They had what we never knew we needed...a pie that was half apple and half blueberry! We pounced on it right away. It was pretty darn tasty and we would do it again. We were there a little late in the day to get what we were told not to miss. We will have to go there first when we're going through Dodgeville, not last. We will definitely be back. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CASH :)

I love everything about this bakery. The smell when u open the door and step in. The prices r unbelievable reasonable. Getting there early morning is best for variety. They make homemade bread and rolls. Pies cookies and of course donuts. The donuts r deliciou. Cant wait to go again.

There's a reason this hometown bakery has survived when so many large chains are trying to kick it out. The best donuts you'll ever have, a nice and light dough with incredible frosting. Plus you can't beat the prices. Definitely a must stop if you're around the area.

Cookies and donuts were good. I would rate them higher if the lady behind the counter didn't make us wait while she finished her long story with her coworker which included words I sure did not want my 4 year old hearing. Not the experience we wanted. Good product. Poor service. We wouldn't go back.

Grew up in Dodgeville and have not found a better bakery anywhere. I stop in to get sweet rolls and the best hamburger buns every time I drive past Dodgeville!
