This place is always fantastic. It is also always busy so maybe not great if you are in a hurry. If you do have some time however the food cannot be beat! I have been going here my whole life and have never not loved the food. If you are looking for truly authentic Italian food then this is the place for you.

Best Italian Bread in Milwaukee. Perfect crunch and flavor...Many other good Bakers in and around town that have Very Good Bread. But this is the best IMO. Excellent Italian cookies as well. Everything is super fresh.

Couldn't appreciate this place more. Great for a quick stop in the morning before work to grab coffee and apricot sticks. They're much more cash-friendly, if you're using a credit card, expect to be a few minutes at the register. From filling Brady Street with awesome bakery smells in the dark morning hours, the outdoor seating, retro bakery vibes, or the awesome selection of baked goodies and Italian desserts, Sciortino's never fails to disappoint.

Normally, I wouldn’t rate if it wasn’t good. I try to follow the principle if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything and I like to support small businesses. However, this truly was the worst Bavarian donut I’ve ever eaten. It was stale, the cream was chunky (curdled). Either the donut was a day or two old or they truly don’t know how to bake. It was not only a waste of calories but there is no need to ever go back. I’m not sure how they receive any 5 star ratings.

An Eastside Milwaukee must!!!! Occasionally, on a Sunday morning, I will drive 40 miles one way to purchase rolls and hot ham. Fresh rolls are heavenly!! Their pasteries and cookies are a special treat. Voted BEST in Milwaukee year after year, especially their tiramisu!!!! LOVE IT. LOVE IT. LOVE IT!!!!!

The cookies are amazing. I love filling a box with an assortment. If you like amaretti cookies, theirs are to die for. Last year, they also added chocolate dipped ones. Recently, they added pistachio biscotti. While not twice baked to crispness ( the meaning of biscotti), they were quite good. They have a very diverse collection of Italian morsels. My mouth waters, just thinking about them. I've heard that their bread is also quite good. However, when it comes to Italian cookies, I'm unfamiliar with any better in this city.

One of the best bakeries in the United States...period!!!!!! Sciortino's has a fine selection of breads, paisteries, cakes, strudels, etc. One of the last vestiges of Italian Brady Street. It's a block away from Glorioso's Italian Grocery, another Italian institution on Brady Street. I love their Tiramisu as well as their Cannoli.

I wanted Italian cookies, so I went during the holiday rush. They were super busy, but the lady got me a cannoli from the back. Not the friendliest service, but I would be matter of fact if I had been working in that rush too. The cookies though... To die for. Get the amaretti! I'll be back.
