Food was delicious and authentic. We got steak tacos with cilantro and onions, a chicken torta with chipotle sauce to split. We also grabbed some baked goods and a slice of tres leches cake to go. Only problem was my inability to speak Spanish, but the little bit that I can speak and comprehend got my order successfully placed, with a little help from the chef on the "for here, or to go" part.

I just love this place. The Tortas are the best I have had. The bakery is fantastic. I don't speak Spanish at all but that isn't an issue. I always feel welcome and it reminds me of being in a foreign land. This is what makes America the melting pot that it is the diversity of people and the great food they all bring.

I always come here for tacos when I'm in town. The steak and pork are my favorite. The store next door has al pastor meat you can buy. I'll be getting some this trip to try out at home. The in house made salsas are very good. Love the food here, eventually I'll have to try a torta or something else!

This place gets a 10 as far as Mexican baking goes. Their produce is gread quality and fairly priced too. I come mainly for the Mexican wedding cake. You can buy it by the slice and sit at the counter and eat it. It is moist and too die for. Too bad most white Americans have never tasted a slice! They cook authentic Mexican food. You can take it to go or just eat it there. There is no wait staff but they have a dining area and counter. The food is great and very fairly priced. Every one I'd always nice. The main language spoke is spanish. The owner is Tomas, he is from Span. Such a great guy! Don't worry they all speak English and are always glad to help.

Just called to place an order to pick up (3 tortas and 5 flan) at 9:45 am. Woman behind the line told me the kitchen opens at 10:30 am. I told her I would pick up the order at 10:45 then. Woman takes the order but tells me she can't promise the order will be ready at exact 10:45. To avoid inconveniences I move the pick up time to 11:00 am. Woman tells me still won't work because SHE DOESN'T KNOW WITH CERTAINTY AT WHAT TIME THE COOK PREPS ARRIVE IN THE MORNING... "IT COULD BE LATER OR EARLIER THAN 11:00 am" She said. I told her this is the 4th time I place an order on the phone and first time someone makes it this difficult! I ended up canceling my order because her inability to deliver on her promise and rudeness (when I added the 5 flans to my order she told me "Oh, you can add the flans to the order when you come here, I have clients here I have to wait on!" Bad experience overall and very unprofessional. I have always ordered cakes for my family and friends in the past. I even did business with the owner Tomas when he owned "La Paella", I rented his restaurant for my wedding event. I consider him a good business owner and friend but today I realized some of his behind the counter employees lack just basic customer service skills on the phone.

Tomas the owner was very rude. He refused to answer my calls about a complaint I had. He even tried to block my number when I had just wanted to ask questions. He would not call me back. I do not recommend this store, they are over priced, will ring items up wrong, then when you ask for a refund to the corrected price they claim to not speak English, ignore you, and then hang up on your calls. I believe it is probably pretty authentic, the menu is entirely in Spanish, but if you are not a speaker the friendly waitresses are more than willing to explain things to you. My sandwich was just ok, SPLIT IT with a friend, I didn't believe the reviews and I'm a pretty good eater, seriously 1/2 is the size of a normal sandwich. I also sampled some bakery, overall it is cheap ($0.85 for a donut or other treat) but most of it was dry and bland. Overall it is a fun place to stop and check out, but it will not be a regular place for me.

Staff is usually busy so they don't pay much attention to you. Minus 1 star for that. The bakery is fantastic though! I love picking up some of the classic Mexican bakery items I used to have when I would visit my family. Have never tried their food but I'd imagine it's pretty good. Will update if I ever try a dish from there. Recommended for the bakery items, they're both delicious and addicting!

The older Hispanic woman is rude & ill mannered - nothing more or less, and food is overpriced. Now, I don’t care about the price because I love to support small business, however the woman was so disrespectful I wouldn’t go back there if they said it was free. Oh and I never do reviews but I made time for this one
