If you want some REAL AND HOMEMADE KRINGLE. This is where you gotta go. Bendtsen's blows O&H out of the water and that's some truth tea right there. My personal favorite donut btw is the cronut. Like WOW.

I've been going to Bendtsen's since I was born. A huge staple of the community, and everytime I'm back in town, one of the first places I go is Bendtsen's for Kringle and sweet rolls and all kinds of delicious baked goods. Always fresh and delicious, and everyone is so kind and personable. If you haven't been, go now!

I have a friend who considers himself an Aficionado of the Kringle. he said if you ever go to Racine, you absolutely have to stop at Bendtsen's Bakery and get a Kringle. The drive into town from the interstate took only a few minutes, and the Delight that resulted from this little side trip was worth every minute. The staff was extremely friendly and greeted us immediately upon walking in. Our eyes were met with unbelievable sights. Delightful sites of Bakery Goods, Breads, and of course kringles. We ordered the apricot, and a cup of coffee, sat down and savored every bite. My wife bakes pies, and it is clear that real lard is used in the recipe. The flakiness and lightness of the pastry bread was undeniably delicious. If you're in the area, I would now pass on my friend's recommendation. You absolutely must take time and stop and come get a Bendtsen's Bakery Kringle.

The Racine Kringle wars are a beautiful thing and everyone who enjoys baked goods is a winner. Bendtson's is either the best bakery in town or tied for the top spot. When I go in for Kringles I almost always find myself leaving with another bag full of goodies as well. Top notch.

This is the best of the best. There is no finer kringle in Racine. The rest of the baked goods are all amazing too, but your first priority should be the Almond Macaroon Kringle. I bring one of those to every gathering of more than 4 people, and it always disappears in a flash.

The best hand-made Kringle I've ever had. Kringle has been a Christmas tradition in my family. Living in Minnesota I'm lucky that the grocery carries the mass-produced Racine Kringles. Now that we've visited an authentic Kringle bakery, those mass-produced ones will never be quite as good. The variety of flavors was spot on. We ordered afew and took up almost all the counter space in the bakery. I'd suggest you pick it up and go.
