Visited from out of town and saw online that the Cupcakerie made dairy free cupcakes! I was visiting from out of town and stopped in to see if they had any dairy free cupcakes available (I’m lactose intolerant). They don’t have them made to sell, but they can be ordered. I ordered a half dozen around 2 and was able to pick them up by 5! The staff were incredibly accommodating and the cupcakes were AMAZING! My boyfriend had the Loco Cocoa flavor and said it was hands down the best cupcake he has ever had!! Definitely will be back!!

great customized work. my wife ordered this cake for a dental school event. The attention to details was perfected. The cake was so good i came back for another one when i found another occasion. if you have an idea for your cake they will try their best to deliver it.

Great cupcakes, great service. We bought my son's birthday cake there as well and he loved it. This was a special order though. Parking can be tricky at times because of downtown location otherwise, great place to buy yummy cakes!

I adored this place when it opened while I was in college. I just visited the famous Sprinkles bakery and got their "signature" red velvet cupcake (while wondering the whole time I was in line if it could be as good as my favorite, red velvet from cupcakerie). I swear Cupcakerie is twice as good! If you're in Morgantown, cherish this place and get the red velvet!

This place is very lovely! The customer service was great! My sisters and I tried an assortment of cupcakes: Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate, Cookies and Cream, Red Velvet, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Raspberry Lemonade. The best was the Raspberry lemonade and Pumpkin...the others were ok, nothing out the ordinary. Definitely would go back for the raspberry! Great decor!

It's no surprise that The Cupcakerie has received the Best of Morgantown award nearly every year since they opened. Their cupcakes/cakes are the best I've ever had, so moist and flavorful and with such a creative, wide variety of flavors. My only complaint would be having to decide which to eat first. If you are a fan of delicious flavor, try the Cupcakerie.

I ran into this nice shop with a friend when strolling around downtown. We just had two cupcake bytes, and we found them pretty good. I'd just say to step by if you're around. It's worth it for a sweet break :)

The cupcakerie will provide you with the incredible indulgence that you might expect from a shop that seemingly dedicates itself to one dish, however the unique flavor combinations and range of sponge that this shop produces seems limited only by it's bakers creativity. There is some true talent and vision in this kitchen. This place begs to be tried by anyone and everyone.

Definitely let down. I had said we’d never been there before and the woman behind the counter was not very friendly, said nothing at all to help, very quick to give us our cupcakes. Even my young son said she was not friendly. Didn’t feel welcoming for us. Quaint decor I guess. We bought four cupcakes and one was down right awful, it was like putty one was very good and two others were ok. I know everyone has their different taste, but I’m saying the one was just not baked right. I might give it another chance, maybe staff was just having a rough day? The one good cupcake we got would have me give it a second chance.maybe. Very expensive.

The Cupcakerie made the most delicious cupcakes and cake for our August 2017 wedding reception. We were able to pick 6 different flavors of cupcakes, plus a different flavor for our cake to cut. My husband and I, as well as our guests, were so very pleased with the selections; many went back for more as we had plenty to go around! They also coordinated icing and cupcake stand details with the colors of our wedding so that it went along with the theme of our wedding/reception. It was absolutely perfect. We would highly recommend The Cupcakerie to anyone!

The girl behind the counter wasn't friendly at all. We ask her what flavors they had because we've never been their before. She said what's on the counter is what I have. (Not what I asked) We chose a 2 vanilla cupcake 1 mini 1 regular size. A mini cookies and cream, a regular peach margarita & a regular hard days night. She boxed them up took my card asked if I wanted a receipt, I said no and she handed my card back and didnt even hand me my box. As we were leaving I said have a good night. My 2 year old daughter wave good bye and said good bye and received nothing back other than a snooty look. The cupcakes were on the dry side and the icing was oily.

FANTASTIC cupcakes and cakes. I ordered a custom cake a while back and not only was it delicious, rich, and filling, but also the creativity was other-worldly. No better bake shop exists in Morgantown. Highly recommended.

The cupcakes are a little pricey so it's not worth it for me to go there for a vanilla cupcake, but they have all kinds of crazy, and unique cupcakes that are worth it. I've eaten them with a whole Oreo or Resee's cup, or even bacon on/in the cupcake and they are always delicious and look beautiful. The selection depends on what they make that day, but if you want to order a bunch you can call ahead and they'll make you W/E.

Good enough , quality wise, but I think quite expensive. Call ahead for sure, as it is a small business, not a large inventory, especially if any event happening.

Good cupcakes...it is locally owned which I love. The price is expensive though and they don't have a huge selection. The cupcakes available each time I go tends to be different.
