I've been to this bakery three times now. The first time i got there just after 7 am there was almost nothing to purchase. Second trip I stopped at 11:30 am and they had a sign on the door that said closed sold out. I went back at 8 am the next morning. The parking lot was full. There were only 5 people inside. There was a very limited selection of donuts and turnovers. They did put a fresh pan of pecan sticky buns out. Purchased sticky buns a couple of donuts. There was nothing special about either. I simply can't understand all of these 5 star reviews. Given the location and lack of choices seems to have affected how this place does business

The venue advertised that Trivium along with other bands would be performing tonight, July 24th. My boyfriend and I drove 3.5 hours one way to watch the band perform.After requesting time off from work, spending money on gas, and wasting time driving to the venue, we were notified that the venue had been shut down due to fire code violations. They took no initiative to notify concert goers ahead of time so that they would not waste time driving here. I expect to be refunded entirely for my cost of tickets.

What a great place! Our son & his wife are visiting so we headed to the Bakery. Wonderful atmosphere, great owners...very friendly! The donuts were delicious & the cheese bread is so good! We will definitely be back! Thanks!!

There's nothing here that I do not like. The Bakery is clean and charming. Chad and Derek add to the experience with their engaging personalities and friendliness. It's one of the best places to visit when in Boulder Junction.

I have yet to taste a better bagel then the bagels I just had at the Bakery of Boulder Junction. If you haven't tried the pumpkin/white chocolate ones, WOW!!! I will now only purchase my bagels from this bakery and no others. I am hoping to get a traditional French/Italian bread that is made from yeast and then hard on the outside and so soft in the inside. Will be my request today when I call in and order several dozen of the pumpkin bagels!

Great cake donut! Delicious icing! I sat for a while and noticed that half the folks that came in after 10 am did not find what they wanted. Could have sold sooo much more with more products available! Not everyone on vacation gets up and about at 7 am. Get there early if you want any selection. Also, on another note-. The place needed a good dusting, mopping, wiping down-- I get it's a bakery and it gets dusty, but the bathroom could have been cleaner. The vent hadn't been vacuumed in what looked like years! Great treats!

A pleasant surprise in the "middle of nowhere". Small town bakery standard fare, but also some more sophisticated flavors and choices. Our favorite so far was the Country French loaf (great crust and soft aromatic middle), but looking forward to the cranberry walnut multigrain in the morning. They even had a biscuit for our dog, and our three boys snarfled down 4 donuts and two cookies (with our help).

Every time I visit Boulder Junction I make a point to stop at The Bakery. They have the best breads and donuts and have made delicious biscuits upon request. And aside from the great baked goods, the two owners provide excellent service and recommendations for things to see and do around the area. I love The Bakery!

I bought tickets to see Trivium, 2 and a half months before the show, drove 2 hours, paid for a hotel room, took a day off of work - for nothing! Amateur hour at the bakery. This show has been booked months in advance and the venue doesn't have the competence to make sure they have a fire marshal inspection? Everybody left standing clueless (fans and bands alike) as to what was going on, with no bakery representatives coming out to make any type of announcements. I'll not make that mistake again, and unfortunately I'll be very leery of any other small time, half-baked venues.

Charleston, WV's, premier Arts Collective. Located in the old Purity Maid Baking Co.'s building on Bigley Avenue, it's conveniently located at the I-64 & I-77 split. Walking distance to the Elk City Historic District. Great place to listen/see live bands, both local & national recording artists.

The Bakery in Boulder Junction is a little bit of home cooked comfort (with understated elegance) in the Northwoods. The owners are great people and a nice addition to the community. Try out the maple, bacon and brown sugar long johns. They're awesome!

It is very great to bring a different variety of music to the Charleston area, and this place is doing just that. Many different bands and different genres of music for all. It is still in its early stages, and some very famous bands have played here already and there is still more concerts to come

Concert canceled because building was condemned by Charleston Fire Department.Still waiting on refund, drove all the way from Ohio, was told I could park at the bar, bar next door owner chased me and others off. I sincerely was looking forward to the experience., 3 hour drive from Ohio, had us running around Charleston switching venues looking for parking and then concert got cancelled. Pretty quickly got my refund, the bakery had nothing to do with that. Their handling of the event was not good, but appreciate they tried to do something big and they were up front even weeks in advance about this being a learning experience.

I have been visiting Boulder Junction every summer of my life, and this bakery has been a staple for as long as I can remember. They have tons of great breads and pastries, and excellent biscuits if you ask for 'em! Derek and Chad are so wonderful, I highly recommend stopping in for a treat. Long live The Bakery!

The Bakery has a delicious variety of crowd pleasers like giant cookies, filled donuts, cake donuts, long johns, turnovers, and breads, just to name a few. Get up with the early birds and enjoy specialty goodies like PB&J long johns, sauerkraut rye bread, and scones... I love, love, love their scones. Northwoods inspiration adds other unique items like the Maple Bacon long johns Chad and Derek made recently. I missed out on them this time, but will be back to see what they come up with next.
