Wow, was very pleasantly surprised with this bakery in this strip mall location. We had the bagels and breakfast sandwiches and they were outstanding. Also, we had a couple of dessert items and they were fantastic. The donuts are great as well. We ended stopping here 3 mornings in a row to eat since it was so good!!! Highly recommended!!

This place is the absolute best deli/bakery in the Washington DC area. It’s family run, and combines the ultimate in Italian baked goods and Jewish deli fare. There is nothing like this to be found on the East Coast outside of New York. It’s well worth a trip, even if you’re not lucky enough to live close by.

DELICIOUS, DELICIOUS, DELICIOUS!!! I love this place! It's like our family found a diamond in the rough! A tiny deli, with the BEST MENU, located somewhere you'd NEVER think to look!! We're on vacation and stopped for a piece of cake at the recommendation of a local resident. It was absolutely delicious! The texture of the cake was great and the frosting was perfect! We were so impressed that we stopped the next day to get a couple of deli sandwiches. They we're both excellent. A Cuban and the craps. Highly recommended! I'd give it 6 stars if I could!!!

Fantastic bagels, with a variety of cream cheeses, and donuts. I haven't had the sandwiches except for the breakfast sandwiches, which are good. They have a variety of other baked goods which rate from fair to good in the experience of my fiancee and I. The service is generally good if a little hectic with a bit of shouting to the back for orders. The donuts are only available on weekends though

It was good the first time around. Service is great. However, the sesame bagel today was under baked. It taste like raw dough. I will give them another shot. It helps that its the only bagel shop in town. Which is why they are over priced. I can get the a dozen bagels with 2 cream cheeses for the price of 1/2 a dozen with 2 cream cheeses at Einstein bros. And dont have to worry about the quality. If you're ever in the Germantown area check out Royal Bakery. Best bakery shop!!!!!!

We were so excited to find this Olney and Germantown, MD favorite. It was great to see that the owner of Royal Bakery retired and opened up here!! The weekend bread and treats are really exceptional. The kitchen is also great and fast. We ordered a latte that was one of the best we've had.

This place is a Hidden Gem! All of the bread is baked fresh daily and the meat is piled high. It will definitely not disappoint. This is the closest you can get to a New York City Deli in our area. The bakery items are to die for. I went with the white raspberry cheesecake and it was delectable. The sweet tea was perfect. The girl behind the counter was really friendly and helped me pick out my sandwich. I went with the Super! I cannot wait to go back and try my next sandwich. I think I might have to hit this place up every time I go to the Walmart.

After moving from New Jersey to the DMV I had basically given up on finding good bagels. I was wrong. While we were in Maryland my wife and I found a place that was passable, but Royalicious makes me forget I'm not home. The bagels are top notch, the sandwiches are great, and the cookies/pastries are as good as you can find anywhere. I don't know how this place wound up in the panhandle but some questions don't need answers.

They seem like a nice little shop but the items I picked up were "off" as though they were on the shelf for too long. Considering the prices I was pretty disipointed. Hopefully I just arrived on a bad day as the selection was impressive and I really wanted to become a regular (nothing like fresh baked goodies). If your planning a trip I would only suggest try before you buy a bunch of stuff for an upcoming party as I did becouse most all of it went in the trash.

Was told about this place so I decided to give it a try. I called before hand to make sure they were open and that they had french toast bagels since I was told they were amazing. I was told on the phone that they make them daily. So I drove 30 mins one way and when I got there the employee told me that they did not make any french toast bagels today. Very disappointed for my first time there. Did buy a pumpkin bagel and it did taste fresh and good but half of it tasted like onion (I assuming from being sliced with a knife that wasn't cleaned off). Close to NY tasty bagels.

This place is simply superb! I am a regular and I go almost every weekend for their bagels or their sandwiches. The food quality is always top notch and they always have something for everyone.
