Our first dining experience was awesome. Mena's cannot sell beer because of a building ordinance so we were advised to bring ur own beer ... Which we did... Our pizza and wings were delicious enough that we returned the next afternoon (cooler in hand) .. This time we ordered salad, steak and cheese sub and chicken parmesan sub ... All was super fantastic. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely return. Super good place yo eat!

I love stopping by here for some pre (or post)-hike fuel. Really good pizza, good serving size to price ratio. It's a small place though, so it gets a little crowded in the spring/summer. The food's worth the wait though!

Four of us went here. Perfect place for the time of day (lunch time). The decor was casual... self seating. Nice staff. Two of us had Pizza. The pizza was good and the price was reasonable. The other two of us had salads. The salads looked good but I didn't try them but my friends said they liked them. One in my party had special Gluten requirements and she was able to find menu items that she could eat here. We were all stuffed by the end of our meal.

Since I have moved to Harpers Ferry (2 years ago), my family and I have ordered from Menas repeatedly. I've always enjoyed the food until recently. She has hired a new staff of teenagers whom can't seem to get our orders right and when we call, they are rude on the phone. We have gotten burnt pizzas, topping that mostly to one side, cheese forgotten on salads on 2 different occasion, and so on. There seems to be something wrong EVERY time we order, which has been in the past few months.It's a shame because I really enjoyed her food.....

Our Waiter did not pay any attention to us, and we waited for 45 min for our food. He mumbled and none us could understand him. Once we got our food, the pizza was good but the Spaghetti and Meat Sauce was disgusting. I would not come back.

After a tiring zip lining activity at River Riders, we found bliss having lunch at Mena's. The Alfredo was delicious and the dish was freshly cooked. It came with a side of salad which was a lot to keep me munching till I waited for my main meal. The staff was courteous. Best part is that they have their own parking space which is a relief in that small city.

Worst pizza we've ever ordered. How on earth does this pizza place have this high of a rating. Cold, hardly any cheese, to much hard to chew crust. The cannoli was hideous, the limoncello cake was disgusting. What a disappointment after a long day.

We went to Mena's Pizzeria for dinner while visiting Harper's Ferry. The service was great, the food was very good. We ordered pizza and chicken parmesan and they were both really good. The chicken parmesan was freshly prepared and came with house salad and garlic bread. The crust on the pizza was just thick enough with a nice crunch on the edges and the right amount of toppings, cheese and sauce.

This is the closest to authentic Italian pizza that I've had since I last visited Italy in 2014. It's so not the gross commercial crap that "papa" or the other pizza places sell. If you want authentic Italian pizza in the U.S. that tastes and looks like Italian pizza, you won't be disappointed with this place!

Pizza was burnt, but under cooked in the middle. Garlic knots were burnt on the outside and raw in the middle. Ordered the special steak, nothing special, I guess you have to ask for lettuce, tomato, or mayo. 34 dollars for the trash.

We travelled to Harper’s Ferry and was so hungry and decided to try this restaurant. Place is small and cozy but I think we ordered the wrong food. I had 12inches Special Italian sausage sub which taste very ordinary and my husband had the 12inches cheesesteak sub which also taste so-so. It ain’t bad but not good at all. We also had fries and it was so soggy and greasy and the iced tea taste horribly bitter. The only thing nice was the bread that they used for their subs. Not worth the wait and money. Not coming back here.

Wife and I just ate here. Both ordered our own Mena's specialty pizza (we don't like the same toppings). Both pies were delicious with a generous portion of toppings and extremely filling. Both of us had difficulty eating 2 slices. I hope we get a chance to go there again before leaving the area. The service was also very good.

We weren't expecting much. We got the fried mushroom app and it was ok, seemed to need something else. We ordered the small calzones and it was delicious! The dough was great and it was huge. Manacoti was so good. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Our waiter was on his second day of work and super attentive. We hope to go back if we visit Harper's ferry again.

I can't believe there's ANY negative reviews of this place! Today was our 1st time here and we were blown away not only by the food but the service. We came here after river riding with the kiddos and had the French fries, jalapeno poppers, mozzarella sticks, Hawaiian pizza, small calzone and the Special Steak Sub. Everything was awesome! The fries, perfect! The SMALL calzone was HUGE! The kids loved their Hawaiian pizza, the ham was super fresh and handcut which they enjoyed. The bread on the sub was awesome! Extra points for the outdoor picnic tables out back of the restaurant and the awesome parking lot off street! Huge plus! Our waiter was super attentive and kept our glasses full at all times. We had a great visit and even signed the guest book they have out! Super cool, family feel place. Loved it and will return!

This place was awful. It took an hour to get our food (subs and fettuccine). And the fettuccine came with a salad, the balsamic dressing was straight vinegar. It was also supposed to come with bread we never got. Our drinks never got refilled and we had to take it up to the counter 3 times to get them refilled and even get utensils. In other words, we served ourselves and half of the food we couldn't even eat because of the amount of pepper they put on it. We will never come here again.

This is my local pizza place and sorry but I have to give it one star only for using quality ingredients. Nothing at all wrong with the flavor but if I'm spending twenty dollars on one pizza, it should be the size I ordered not a 10 inch pie. Didn't realize it until I got home with it on how small it was. It looked like a 5 year old attempt at dough. Sad.

Menas had that small town pizza shop feel. And the wait solidified that feel. we grabbed a garlic knots as a starter and then we had a ham and cheese panini and my wife and I split. The panini was very good. It came with some homemade potato chips there were heavily seasoned with an old bay flavor. And I mean heavily. However, prices were reasonable. I would suggest heading closer to Harpers ferry and try one of the smaller eateries there.

I ordered the stuffed shells to-go. It came with 2 and a half shells and it was $12!!!!!!!! It also comes with a tiny side salad, but they forgot the dressing, and "garlic bread" which is half a sandwich role with a tiniest amount of garlic spread. I'd much rather have an actual decent portion of my meal with that cost. It was also mediocre tasting at best. Will not be returning.

I really hate to leave a bad review. It's just not something I want to do. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. But I just have to in this case. After arriving we received our drinks pretty quick. It was another 20 minutes before a salad arrived, which arrived without any silverware, which we then had to go get. The sweet tea we initially received was good & didn't last long, but trying to get a refill was futile. We were told it was being made several times, but still took 30 minutes or more to refill. Even then, the tea was now barely sweetened. We were offered another drink in place of it, but declined after being told the tea was almost ready. 30 minutes or more is not almost ready. Food finally arrived after waiting just as long as the tea, & two of the three meals were good. The Italian sub & the pizza steak sub were the highlights. The fettuccini alfredo was more black pepper than anything else, & was inedible. Garlic bread never arrived as promised with the pasta. After having to go back to the counter to get another refill of not sweet enough tea, we had enough. We went to the register, took the rest of the food in to-go boxes, & left. We intended to order dessert, but instead drove to Sweet Frog. This is a small, independent business. I really hope they were just having an off night. The waitress apologized over & over, but it really doesn't change the fact that this was far & away the worst dining experience of my life. How does it take that long to get a refill? And if it's going to, why say it is almost ready, over & over again? How is it silverware, if not already on the table, isn't brought with the salad? Between the time the order was placed & when we left we were there over an hour. Garlic bread should be able to be tabled in an hour. But like the tea, it's almost ready. I really hope the Harper's Ferry locals enjoy this restaurant. If you're from out of town, I highly recommend skipping Mena's. Maybe it'll turn out better than my experience, but why chance it. This is my second time to Harper's Ferry, & this has left a horrible taste in my mouth. If I return to Harper's Ferry, I will definitely not be returning to Mena's, & will think twice about dining anywhere in town, thanks solely to this experience.

I stopped going to Mena's 2 years ago after a particularly bad visit (the center of the pizza was uncooked & toppings only covered a small fraction of the pie). But, I got desperate and Mena's delivers: 2 cheese pizzas looked & tasted like cardboard & the pies weren't cut! I done.

This was the only Italian option here in Harpers Ferry. Server was about the only attentive person in the place. Front staff was very short with attitude. Pizza crust was burned, basil pesto was like water, calzone had watery sauce. Not enjoyable but meet the necessity of food substance.

Friendly staff nice spot. Food was has potential but chicken parm made from previously made fried chicken cut in pieces reheated causing it to be burned and bitter. Tried explaining this to owner and was told some people like it different. She wasn't getting it at all so I guess shes OK with cutting corners rather then serving good food. She didn't charge me but I left enough cash to cover the meal anyway. I wasn't looking for a free meal but a new spot with great Italian food. Such a shame. could be the best spot in town but without the willingness to change and provide fresh food its just another cheap fast food place with Harper's ferry tourist prices. sad!

I was told by the driver that they got swamped, but it was still a 70 minute wait when I was told 30 minutes. I still tipped the driver, but the pizza was cold and very haphazardly put together. Half had way more cheese that the rest, some pieces were mostly just sauce with three inches of dough. Very dissatisfied. Only saving Grace was that the dough and sauce was yummy and seems homemade.

The food was good. Our 3 year old wanted pesto pasta(not on the menu) which Mena obliged. That was very sweet of her. She held conversations with us and engaged us. The rest of her crew were very sweet as well. Lastly this was the only good restaurant open late. The rest of the town not surprisingly shutdown by around 6 so it was a welcome surprise to have this place to eat.

I love the small town diner feel to Menas. They are usually busy but never fail to provide great service and delicious food. My husband got the Shrimp Alfredo and said it was the best he's ever had! The menu is fantastic with varied choices and they have dessert. Stop in sometime! You won't regret it!

Small quaint local pizzeria. Every pizza is made to order, super friendly staff and of course Mena was behind the counter and making pizzas. Good pizza, some parking in back, reasonable prices and good size pies. Right on the main road and easy to spot. It's in the upper town so catch it on your way in or out of town. The restaurant does get busy but you will avoid the lower town pandemonium and crowds.
