I stopped by this morning to order a medium iced latte she didn't put any milk or asked me if I wanted any milk it was until she asked me if I wanted creamer that I requested milk and then she didn't ask me what kind. lattes are only milk and expresso so I don't understand how that got mixed up. But it was the worst latte I've ever gotten. I order the same latte at the black dogs coffee shop on a regular basis and I've never had issues so I'm surprised I had an issue here especially them selling black dogs coffee .The employees clearly need to be trained better.

Fairly new to Ranson, M Street has a fair amount of products to offer in a cozy setting. Food is made fresh each day and is tasty. Most of the items are priced fairly, although few do seem a bit overpriced. Having visited in around noon, there weren't any other customers throughout my entire experience, although I imagine more business occurs during their morning hours. I appreciate how the business welcomes customer input by providing a space for them to write suggestions and give miscellaneous feedback.

What a first class Bakery! The items are all unbelievable. I stopped in and picked up an assortment of items such as the turnovers, cookies, breads and best of all, omg !.....That pizza roll !!! Great job and welcome to Howell !!

Wonderful baked goods with a French flair. Featuring variety of eclairs, buns, cake pops, and savory items. Great coffee. Cheerful staff. Clean. Breads, too. Leave a suggestion in the box for more things to bake. Good flavors and toothsome doughs all around.

Worst cinnamon rolls ever, They were so hard I could not break a piece off. Had to use a saw tooth knife to cut. I don't like to give any or bad reviews but for $9 that went straight to the trash. Not a real bakery frozen to bake not from scratch NO Good

Delicious country ham croissants and a variety of scones. They serve local Black Dog coffee. A visit to M Street is a great way to begin a day.

Not as good as the community say

Liked the idea of bakery in town. Store is cute. Not sure why the cinnamon roll was so cold it was like a ice cube in center. Maybe take out of freezer earlier. Little high price for product size.

Love the cappuccinos

I’m bummed to only give M Street Bakery 2 stars, because we need businesses like this in Ranson; however, there’s a lot of room for some easy improvements that left me disheartened about my recent experience there. I ordered a cappuccino, bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, chocolate croissant, a blueberry scone and sampled a piece of chocolate eclair. The cappuccino was delicious, but filled 3/4 of the way full. The b,e&c croissant took 10mins to warm up and the cheese wasn’t even melted. The egg was an unappetizing grey color. I threw this away. The chocolate croissant was tasty, but had a stick of cold chocolate running through it that wasn’t ideal. The eclair I sampled was tasteless- like flour. The scone was edible, but not the best either. On the positive side, very aesthetically pleasing pastries and establishment and decent customer service. I felt the employee taking orders was well-meaning and pleasant but not thorough (he should ask, “do you want this pastry warmed?” “For here or to go”, etc). A lot of info here, but I’m hoping some constructive criticism can lead to a better experience in the future.

Delicious coffee, pastries & treats. Fresh bread & cinnamon buns are awesome.

Exceptionally prepared baked goods and the iced coffee is better than 90 percent of other similar shops.

This little shop has a chef who has what it takes. My first visit, today, was most satisfactory. I tried the country ham croissant with a cup of Black Dog coffee. The sandwich was so good, it made me sad to finish it. DELICIOUS!!!

Just had my first eclair (white chocolate w/rasberry filling). Amazing! Definitely will be back for more.

This place was awful. The service was disappointingly rude and there were no gluten free options as advertised. Very little selection and the coffee was awful.

The cupcakes and cookies are great, but the unexpected treat was the Pizza Roll. It looks like a cinnamon bun, but with pizza ingredients and it my favorite thing on the menu. The new retail space is beautiful and the staff was so friendly and excited about telling us about this new business. Its a must to stop here if you're in downtown Howell.

The issues noted by a previous customer appear to have been taken care of -- no problem with well-grilled, hot sandwiches. The cappucinos are now more European style with foam spooned on top (yum!). Owner says he plans to offer them in Italian-style china cups soon. The butternut squash soup with goat cheese bits was a pleasant surprise -- really tasty. Nice to have some gluten-free items available, all from scratch. I'll be watching for their Valentine offerings.

This is a great new (well new at the time of this review) bakery that not only has sweets and breads but a large amount of home made sandwiches and soups.

I’m a little biased, but this is the best bakery in town, hands down.
