I'm in Food City almost everyday. Very nice people, but I miss the managers from a couple of years ago. Like Ryan, I think he had to go to Lebanon. Danny, the floor cleaner is so nice. He always speaks to me and my son. John too. He works the self check out. They've watched my boy grow up from an infant, he's 13 now. Anyway, Food City is my go to store.

Wanted a nice hot lunch, not fast food today and it was awful. Had the fish with two sides, $6.50 wasted on 1 piece of fish that was inedible and two sides of stale mashed potatoes. Very dissatisfied!

Food City is my main food store. That being said, I suppose the quality of customer service depends on which store you go into! I live in a more populated area but I'm often in Richlands visiting. Most of the employees attempt to be pleasant but there are those that seem to struggle to be courteous....

Love their midnight madness sales. They usually have really great deals then, their every week sales are pretty decent as well. They do have cheaper items then the local walmart when its on sale. Some of the staff is rude, mostly the uppity teenagers they have working there lol Most of the older workers are super nice though! They have self checkouts which I love, but I do like walmarts self checkouts better, the cashiers aren't glued to their monitor looking at each and every item you ring up, so expect them to watch everything you purchase in self checkouts like a hawk lol I do realize they are doing their job though. Also at least one self checkout cashier has offered to help me with the checkout process lol I've been doing it for years and know how to key in codes and all that so yeah she was a little pushy for me. If I wanted a cashier in my face I would have waited in line after all lol

They have a huge selection! Fast and friendly service in every department (even in the pharmacy!). Produce and meats are always fresher than the other local grocery stores. Also the best place to get a cake (always delicious!).

This place has it all and good prices. Specials running all the time and a good selection of fresh produce. The butcher at the meat section will custom cut and meat you need. The floral section is a great place to get your floral arrangements.

The pharmacy staff at the Claypool Hill location go above and beyond to assist me with my father"s medication. While this store is not in my home area, if it were, they would certainly have my business. Wonderfully caring employees, not only in the pharmacy, but also the deli and the entire store.
