I don't know that I've ever had cheesecake so delicious as the one I ordered here. The hot food and drinks are delicious, as well. Parking isn't great, but I think that's because everyone is clamoring to get in and eat their delicious food. Service was great. They seemed to be staffed adequately for lunch rush when I was there.

Fantastic place, a great atmosphere, and a large selection of amazing coffee and deserts. Also, it being a local business is just another plus. The employees are very friendly and make you feel right at home. I wouldn't go anywhere else for coffee or deserts. 10/10

Such a great lil coffee shop with the most amazing assortment of desserts ever for a small business ! So hard to choose from! Delicious ! Beautifully and "home/cozy" decorations! Only issue my daughter and I had while visiting for the 1st time was we could barely hear ourselves talk to one another as there seemed to have been a gymnastics or dancing class going on right above this business. Honestly not familiar enough with this section to know if that's what it was or not but there was defiantly something happening. So noisy. Other then that for our 1st visit we had a great experience . Maybe we went at the wrong time and there are other times (we went on a Tuesday evening ) this doesn't occur.

I really like the spicy chicken panini and the French toast latte or whatever it was. The coffee had flavor, but didn't seem really full of sugar. It was a very satisfying and I don't say that lightly, because I find many coffee drinks overrated. The desserts seem really good also. If there is a fault it's the parking and just terrible lack of room inside. However I think one of the biggest problems is the transaction of ordering and getting the order. They seem to take your order and run off to get it, but you are standing in the way thinking about paying, but that doesn't happen till they finish which is very confusing especially if you want some dessert or a sandwich and coffee. One will be making the sandwich and you are not sure when or who to ask for coffee. Then when you pay you are trying to reach around people to access the card reader. It's just very chaotic.

To be honest I do love this place and I've been going here for years, but they've suddenly gotten really popular and I think their quality has suffered some because of this. I generally order and iced latte when I stop by, however it never tastes the same. Sometimes it's too sweet and other times it's not sweet enough, even though I order the same thing. Another thing, because they've gotten so popular they are always busy but they don't appear to have hired any more people. There are usually only a couple people working, and those poor girls that are working always look flustered and in a hurry. I'm sure alot of the issues I have here could be resolved by simply having an extra set of hands working.

Years ago I ordered a cobbler when they were only located up by Wonder Bar; and it was yummy. But since they've opened this shop in Bridgeport it has been one disappointment after another. Twice I wasn't waited on at all and finally left - the third time (yes, I gave them one more chance) I managed to get slices of cake for dessert and I ordered a cup of coffee to drink there. If this is what they call "home made cake" no thanks. I've had cake from the frozen food section of the grocery store that was better far than that. And the coffee was so strong I could almost chew it. Three strikes and you're out.

The coffee shop was clean with amazing looking desserts. I ordered a couple of drip coffees. They were more expensive than Starbucks with half the flavor. Coffee is very weak in taste. They need stronger tasting coffee. I had good service and the desserts look amazing!

The mood here is wonderful! They have really good paninis and ofc treats. The few times I've been their latte's have been on the sweeter side so if you like your latte on the lower end of sweetness be sure to ask for them to go light!

Phenomenal! From their service to their food, everything is top notch. I had a classic reuben and a medium roast coffee and both were fantastic. The coffee was so good I bought a bag to take home. I'll give them big props on serving their paninis with dressing on the side so your can add what you want and they don't get soggy. We got a bunch of baked goods too and all were amazing. You can't go wrong here.

Independent coffee shops are a rarity in this area. This one has a great brew and specialty coffee drinks, as well as sweet treats, sandwiches, salads and bagels. Small, around 8 tables inside where you won't feel rushed while relaxing or catching up with a friend. Friendly staff.

Fantastic coffee. Fantastic carrot cake. Clean shop and friendly staff. Definitely a solid 5 stars. My only gripe is that I didn't have the time to try out the plethora of cakes, cookies and sweets. Another visit should remedy that. Go, go, go.

Went to buy cookies today at Almost Heaven. The sign on the wall said cookies were $1.85 each. The young lady informed me that the price had risen to $2.50 each earlier this week. I told her that the sign said they were $1.85 each. She said they had not changed the sign yet although the price had risen several days earlier. This is called "bait and switch ". We left without making a purchase.

I went to AHD today for my first time and it was incredible! The staff was very friendly and the cases were FULL of DELICIOUS treats. I had the Caprese sandwich and it was amazing. The price is comparable to a sandwich at Panera but I would much rather spend my money at an awesome local shop. I will be visiting again.

My husband ordered me a vanilla cake with butter cream icing. He asked for it to be decorated with flowers. Upon picking the cake up he was very disappointed in the flowers they chose to decorate the cake with. It was more like small stars and instead of a birthday cake it looked like a thanksgiving cake. The hand writing was terrible on the cake. My 6 year old niece could have did a better job. The worse part is the cake was very small and over priced and it tasted TERRIBLE. The icing tasted like pure butter and the cake itself was dry and old stale tasting. Please do not waste your money on their cakes! Honestly this was our first cake and will be our last cake from this establishment. TERRIBLE!

There’s truly no place like AHD with pepperoni rolls and cheesecakes!! I could spend hours at a time there and enjoy the best lattes in WV. This place knows how to treat their customers with absolute satisfaction guaranteed. Nobody will ever leave disappointed at this place!! They serve anything and everything including Acai bowls, milkshakes/smoothies, salads/sandwiches, and even toast/bagels!!!! You can tell they care about their customers when there is always an option for gluten and dairy allergies. West Virginia is so lucky to have a place like this!!

Neat little dessert and coffee shop. Do yourself a favor and try a sandwich or a salad. Sometimes they are under staffed, but it is well worth the short wait, the staff does a very good job here. I'm semi impatient and have been here literally dozens of times and have never left dissapointed or dissatisfied with anything.

Wait times can be long at lunchtime if you want food but let me yell you this is worth it. Makes old people and young alike feel trendy and cool with the coffee menu alone. The desserts are 100 percent on point as well. Iced coffee is legit. 5 stars what can I say. Kind of a neat rustic location too.

Had a lot of issues with order at Christmas, not delivered properly or on time. Many items very good, especially carrot cake, but cookies were dry and not that tasty , surprisingly, especially for the money, and our contact laughed at our problem with delivery and was fairly flippant and rude. We won't be reordering. Our son was to pick up on way home (11 hour trip), at Christmas, but since it was not delivered to predetermined satellite business, well in advance, he had to detour out of his way, with family, to pick up- after much ado and confusion. Not a good experience, especially their attitude.

Don't go in expecting a great coffee. Sometimes it is good and sometimes it is not. The desserts are good though although a pretty pricey. Disappointing to spend that much on coffee and get a crummy one. So if you go in for coffee see who is making it first.
