So overpriced! I ordered a cinnamon roll and I got a gooey, undercooked roll with about a pound of thick, gooey frosting on top. It was seriouly awful! And they charged me almost $10 for this horrible glop and a small, regular coffe!

Love everything about this bakery! Super cute building, clean, comfortable, and convenient location! Very friendly staff, and an amazing assortment of delicious goods! It’s so had to make up your mind! First visit, we came on Halloween and had finally decided on something pumpkin, and a coffee, it was amazing!!!! Next visit, i had special ordered Orange, with orange buttercream, and red velvet with cream cheese icing, jumbo cupcakes for Christmas! We ended up leaving with a peanut butter bar, and pumpkin cupcakes, coffee of course, as well! This place never disappoints!! Can’t wait to come back! Worth my drive from NC!!!

This place is an absolute jewel. The display cases are filled with delicious and colorful pastries and desserts; I’ve never had anything I didn’t love. The bakery is in an old building and the interior has been beautifully maintained. One of my favorite things about Blackbird Bakery is how late it stays open!

What is special place! Open 24 hours a day, except for Sunday. It was 11 p.m. and we sat outside! The weather was absolutely beautiful. The bakery has a large variety of deliciousness! The building itself is historical and the staff very friendly.

Stopped in here on a day trip motorcycle ride and let me tell you this place is one hundred and ninth nine percent perfect. The only bad thing about this place is not living near it and only being able to sample two items for our trip. I truly wanted to try everything in the display case while we waited in line to order. An absolute must to visit if you are in the area.

Wonderful selection of pastries, donuts and sweets. The place is mostly open 24 hours, though closed on Sunday. I wasn't terribly impressed with the coffee, but I'm not a big fan of dark roasted coffee. It's acceptable, though. Everything else is great.

I love this bakery and always visit when I am home. However, my favorite dessert (creme brûlée) still tastes like 100% aluminum from being made in aluminum cups instead of ceramic. Other than that, still a fun place to go!

I've never seen a bakery with as wide a selection of desserts that are all good from donuts to brownies. My 1st crepe was eaten here, and it was a good experience with family. My only regret is that I'm trying to refrain from buying a milkshake so I can spare my fiance from my inability to process lactose on my 5 hr ride back to Richmond. TMI, but that's life.

I love all the pastry options, coffee, and atmosphere. My only complaint is the extremely long LINES and checkout times. I know they are a hot commodity, but they should find a way to speed up the amount of time it takes you to pick out your pastries then checkout. I have waited for over 30 minutes multiple times. Always nice people, I am just talking about speed and efficiency.

A very relaxed, easy going, comfortable & peaceful atmosphere. Workers are super friendly always a smiling face when you walk in. So much to choose from. You just want a huge plate with a bite of everything. Espresso is organic and they have gluten free items as well. You can place an order for anything that you would like done special to your occasion, with just 48 hour notice. Everything is fine from scratch, no frozen and then made items. The best & biggest doughnuts around & they are made fresh with the change of each shift. So always soft and fresh. Man this is the best comfort food in Bristol.

Fine bakery. Go in to get a few things and leave with a box of goodies, at least in my experience. Staff can be a little grumpy sometimes but it is tolerable considering the quality food you end up with. Usually busy, be ready to wait a few minutes in line, it moves faster than you think though so don't be scared off.

First & last visit yesterday!! Stood in the line with no one in front of us for 6 minutes while 4 employees walked through, cleaned the coffee maker & explained someone else would help us. WTF??? We ordered a coconut cream doughnut, a mini cannoli & a blueberry lemon cheesecake bar. If not for the mini cannoli, it would have been one star!! The cheesecake bar was super heavy & coated the entire inside of your mouth making it difficult to swallow plus the only discernable flavor was the lemon. The doughnut had to have been from the day before - at least! The dough was hard on the outside & extremely chewy inside while the cream filling had an off-putting alcohol flavor. Next time I'm craving sweets, I'll make the drive to Johnson City for Daylight Donuts or Kingsport for Seaver's!!

Best late night snack, pretty sure this is the only 24 hour bakery in the tri-cities which makes it super unique. There’s a lot of neat acts that perform here. During the day it’s usually super busy tho so be prepared to wait for your snacks.

I think it's overpriced for the taste. The atmosphere is nice, music is nice, and it definitely gets the business. I'm just not a fan. Chocolate cake was pretty good as was my cookies and cream Frappe. Orange iced donut was meh. The icing was great, the donut is definitely your typical frozen donut. Expect a Duncan Donuts taste. The cheesecake was absolutely horrendous. I've had better from Walmart. Dry and flavorless. If it wasn't for my Frappe it would easily be a choking hazard lol.

This place is absolutely amazing. It's a sweets shop. Ice cream, banana pudding, cakes whatever your sweet tooth is craving. My mother and sister took us here when we were in Bristol TN at the Rythm and Roots for my birthday weekend. Absolutely loved it. It's clean, they had a singer there singing. Everyone was having a blast and we sat outside and ate our sweet treats. Really enjoyed this place and I look forward to coming here again. Hopefully sometime soon. Happy Eating.

If a bakery has a sign on the Interstate we are going to check it out! Oh my, this bakery and ice cream shop is amazing!! Do yourself a favor and take a few minutes to treat yourself. Homemade doughnuts and more pastries than you can imagine. We saw a banana split being made and it reminded me of going to the fountain counter at local dime store and being in awe of the creations. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant.

24-Hour bakery that was recommended to my daughter by her neighbor. Lots of choices of all kinds of rich desserts. I didn't notice cookies but I might have just missed them. These goodies aren't your everyday bakery fare - they're confections you probably wouldn't attempt at home for the most part. They did have some basic donuts and breads, but what stood out to me was the fancy bakery items...mini cheesecakes, raspberry confections, tiramisu, eclairs and too many others to remember. What I tried was delicious!! Worth every penny!! Since we generally go through Bristol every year on the way to visit family in NC, I'm adding this to our list of places to stop every time!! Delicious!!!

Are you kidding me? There's a bakery / dessert shop that's open 24 hours a day? We hit this place twice a day while we were in Bristol. Mornings brought quiche or donuts or fruit tarts, and it was ice cream late at night. The staff behind the counter was always friendly and helpful (and patient). Plenty of room to sit and enjoy your food and coffee, with mezzanine or first level dining room, and outdoor sidewalk seating.

This is the best Bakery in the area. Wish it was near my house. It is in downtown Bristol, which has a lot to offer. Unfortunately that’s 45 minutes from Johnson City. Still worth the drive. Also as a night owl I love that it’s open 24 hours a day Monday through Saturday.

The worst thing about this place is the selection... in that, there's so much to choose from, you feel like an idiot trying to decide which thing to get when the employees try to take your order. It leaves you panicked and fearful of missing out on something, which you inevitably will. The best thing about this place is the quality, in that it doesn't matter what you choose from the ridiculous spread, it will be great and you'll likely enjoy it immensely. The close second best things about this place are the incredible service, the blueberry iced donuts, the tiramisu, and they stay open all the time.

I've never been to the bakery and my best friend insisted that we go. The staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. It's located in a rustic two level building with seats available in either section as you choose. There are seats and tables outside that would be great in summer. They offer a wide array of decadent desserts that's made fresh daily. They have coffees and drinks as well. Everyone who enjoys cakes, pastries and sweets should visit.

Blackbird Bakery is so good you may become addicted. If you like sweet treats this place has something fresh and amazing for you. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The store is bright and clean. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun. They have plenty of seating upstairs, downstairs, and even outside. Whether you're working to beat a deadline, relaxing with friends, or something in between this is a great place to treat yourself. If you're traveling through Bristol, Blackbird Bakery should be at the top of your to-do list.

The donuts are always good! Very delicious! This time We tried the cheesecake with chocolate bottom, chocolate cupcake with chocolate icing and the raspberry mousse cup. All 3 delicious. Very relaxed dining experience.
