This is not just a lemon poundcake folks...this is an unbelievably lemony-sweet-tart-moist delight with a (are you ready for this...) crunchy-ish lemony glaze that just sends it over the top! Get one...get one right now!...go to Manchester, Vt....order one (or a dozen) online...just try it...you will fall hopelessly in love!

Lemon Lulus have become somewhat of a legend in our home. We have had them shipped, we have driven from New York to Vermont for them, we have made relatives load their trunks up with them, all because a holiday isn't complete without one. In fact, when I got married this year, I knew I had to have Lemon Lulettes as a favor! They were delicious, of course, and they all looked beautiful on our tables. Jacki was extremely easy to work with, all 220 were perfectly packaged for the drive to New York, and we couldn't have been happier with the results. I'm also happy I ordered a few extra because they freeze perfectly and are a great treat that taste as good as the day they were made. I can't wait for our annual holiday trip back to Vermont to pick up some more!

We went in for Gluten Free options, and we're told from home that they carried one thing, and once we traveled found it to not be the case. I'll stick that in the miscommunication file... Otherwise, everything is made fresh, however that leaves limited supply! Call them first if you aren't going nearby. Thank you

While there are lots of reasons to recommend the store, all I'm going to say is by the dark or milk covered toffee. While expensive it is something you will not regret purchasing.

A Manchester favorite for over 40 years. I just bought ten boxes of their famous "Buttercrunch" to have on hand for gifts. I do miss the sandwich shop and soda fountain, though I do understand that community preferences have changed over the years.

Never come to Manchester without stopping at Mother Mystics. They now have they've fabulous lemon Lily cake in small "Liberties." Also purchased fudge, maple multballs, and of course their fabulous buttercrunch. Yummy.

I drove a half hour to Mother Myrick's on Easter eve to pick up some desserts for Easter dinner. I arrived just before 5, and hour before closing, and the door was locked. A customer left as I stood there so I walked in and was yelled at that they were trying to close. My girlfriend informed them the sign on the door read that they were open for another hour and one of the woman working yelled "No". We promptly left and were run down by the same worker saying okay come in but be quick. We decided to take our business elsewhere...

For a person with a sweet tooth it's a torture as he has to pick few items and can't eat everything there..loved the buttercrunch and the fudges and the coconut & lime based sweet (forgetting what it's called) was utterly delicious.

Best buttercrunch ever! I have found similar products in CT, but they just do not compare to Mother Myrick's. Once shipped, it arrived quickly. I shared the milk chocolate and dark chocolate buttercrunch with my co-workers. Sweet, buttery, salty and all-around delicious. They were a big hit.

While visiting Manchester with my sister in October we discovered this gem by chance. The morning muffins were so exceptional we returned later in the day for more, only to be told the last one just sold. We consoled ourselves with a slice of opera cake, marshmallow fudge, a jar of fudge sauce and almond toffee. Everything was exceptional and we consider Mother Myrick’s shop a highlight of our trip. We made it a point to stop back on our ride home for more fresh muffins!
