What can I say that can do this place justice; it is the best Bakery in the Burlington area. It is worth the drive to Milton. The Donuts are freshly baked each day, and by end of day they are all gone, no day old. Love this place. I give a Dozen to clients when I visit.

So good, the donuts and other sweets are unreal. If you can get there early enough to still get some apple fritters you are in for one of the greatest pastries you will ever eat

I love Madeleine's! I've been going here since high school for their maple doughnuts. By the time I got there today they had already sold out. After a teeny miscommunication about some cookies, I am now 24 cookies richer AND even more in love with this bakery. I am so happy to have such a sweet, customer friendly place in town. I also managed to forget my credit card there today, but they stayed open PAST CLOSE!!! so I could come back and get it. All around an above and beyond experience.

Great apple blueberry and raspberry turnovers. Best ever donuts are great. But apple fritters raspberry white choc scones Not good. Hardly any filling to call them out!! Its a very good bakerie Please add more filling for the ones that need it!! Thank u

Ordered a cake for my daughter's graduation party last weekend and it was amazing. The design was beautiful and original. The best chocolate cake i've ever eaten. Highly recommend stopping here for any sweet tooth cravings.

Yes, it’s a trip up to Milton to go to Madeline's Bakery in Milton. The reward is you get to eat and enjoy some of the best baked goods on Vermont’s West Coast. Located just behind the Milton Ace Hardware the jelly donuts, brownies and specialty goods are to die for. If they have them, the filled and butter cream frosted cupcakes will amaze you. The counter manager is a hoot and she makes sure your visit is memorable. Try them today.

The most delicious melt in your mouth Glazed Doughnuts ever... I was amazed that a doughnut could be that good. Also I love the sugar cookies, cinnamon rolls, and chocolate covered croissants. I have seen some amazing wedding cakes and pies but have yet to try them. I am sure everything is delicious... Staff is always friendly as well.

I've signed up for an online hacking course just so I can learn how to hack Google to add more stars to my Madeline's review. Are there enough stars in the sky? One of the happiest accidents ever was finding this little bakery.. I stumbled upon it one day a several years ago after deciding to take the scenic route to my camp in St Albans. I had stopped at the diner just in front of there for lunch and happened to notice it. Being on my way to camp, I was relaxed and happy, and the woman who waited on me was sweet and equally playful. We chatted and talked about the offerings, and I sampled a peanut butter cookie as I perused the rest of the choices. I needn't have bothered though, because I could only think of having another (dozen). It was one of the best on cookies I've ever had,. certainly ever from a store! Among several other tasties, I bought all they had left, set.3.aside for myself, and divided the rest equally to share with each of my neighbors on the lake. A year later, while attending Vermont Woodworking School, I was buying food at Steeple's Market (Mmm, 5 stars), and discovered that they sold Madeline's cookies! No peanut butter though. I took a chance and called the number on the package of oatmeal raisin cookies that made do as my substitute, and asked if on the next delivery to Steeple's, they'd add .a couple dozen peanut butter cookies just for me. They pleasantly complied,. the wonderful staff at Steeple's cooperated, and for my 16 weeks at the farmhouse, my Madeline's Peanut Butter Cookie addiction was dated, and my housemates hooked to boot! I love you Madeline!?

Erika recently made us our wedding cake, and it turned out better than we could have imagined. We asked for a ski slopes cake, and it was executed flawlessly at a very fair price. All of our guests thought it was so cute! I always think of wedding cakes as more of an ornament than anything else. But one bite of the cake changed all that. The spice cake with maple cream was beyond delicious and moist. Some of our guests asked where we got it...because they wanted the same flavor profile for their weddings. I can't say enough good things about my experience at Madeleine's Bakery!

I'd been meaning to stop in but never found the time. Yesterday, we had to go to Ace, so we took the time to go in and check out the bakery. Lacking cash, I was thrilled that they were willing to take a local check because my daughter was dying to try their cupcakes. They were amazing. She loves the Red Velvet, but the blueberry buttercream were out of this world, and I'm not even a huge fan of blueberries. I'm sold and we're already planning how many cupcakes we'll be ordering for her upcoming 16th birthday because she's said she wants them instead of a cake.

While the donuts and cupcakes are very good, my first experience was not good. I went in telling them it was my first visit because I was given a buy 6 get 6 free coupon for donuts and a buy 6 get 6 coupon for cupcakes. After picking out my selections, and the young lady quickly running my debit card, she said it would be $17.98. I asked her what full cost would be for these items, she said it would be $27.98, thus half would be $13.98. but because of the coupons, I was being charged more. I disagreed and said forget it, to which she said, you can't as I already ran your card. I said refund the card, to which she said I can't. Bottom line...It was my first time, I was a new customer at a time they should try to make me a "forever customer", but I left feeling cheated and became a "for_Never customer" and will post this in any place I can. The product is good but the experience was not which is really very sad. I will post this everywhere I can and send it to the editorial page of the Milton Independent as well...oh well.

Haven't had the opportunity to visit the bakery but purchased two pies at a local market. Disappointed in the crust, filling was good, whipped topping tasted artificial. Over all disappointed....
