The chocolate chunk cookie is my favorite, but they have excellent muffins and the maple pull apart bread is very yummy! It's hard to find any muffins after the lunch hour but they are worth picking up to go in the morning.

Klingers makes some of the best bread I have ever had. My favorite by far is the maple walnut with a little butter on top, chewy, just sweet enough and so much flavor.

Our favorite local patisserie! We frequent France & Italy, and their chocolate croissants rival most we've had in the EU. Typical French patisserie seating... Tiny tables, few options. Amazing breads & soups. Locally owned.

Great cafe. My family and I have been coming here for years now for bread, coffee, dessert, and soup and I’ve never been disappointed. Friendly staff, fast service, and tasty food. Coffee is definitely better than the Starbucks down the road for a slightly cheaper price, and all the food is fresh. Highly recommend!

Decent bread but place is infested with moths and their maggots living in the flower. Claims to be locally owned yet the owners live in Saratoga NY. Creates an insane amount of waste on a daily basis. All sandwiches are wrapped in cellophane and then unwrapped and cellophane tossed when people order them. Skeevey business. Try a locally owned business instead, you won’t regret it!

I'm giving one star based on the admission that their baked goods are very good and they do good work in that regards, otherwise it would be zero. Klinger's lunch sandwiches are WAY overpriced. I've had co-workers say great things and after reading the menu on the website decided to give this local family establishment a try, as I always do. After tax for a "whole" is $8.23, which is about 6 to 7 inches long and an inch thick when I ordered the Chipotle Club. Their sandwiches are pre-made and packaged in a cheap thick cellophane packaging that I wouldn't trust at a gas station. 90% of my shopping I do at local establishments here in Burlington, as that is the way of life and pay higher prices knowing this and their ingredients. I legitimately felt like I was being ripped off. Yes, they make their own bread, which should not be that high of a price hike given how little bread you get, no sides or drinks. There are far better local alternatives with the same freshness, if not fresher, for half the cost. Their whole sandwich size should be the price of a half. This is the first time I've walked away from paying at a local establishment, ever. You can argue ingredients, ect. But presentation, freshness, and portion size does not equate to that price without offering sides and/or a drink.

They are a good bakery however , unless you get there right at opening , you can not get what you want. For example cinnamon rolls. What kind of bakery are you that opens up all day but only has cinnamon rolls for the first hour you open. Seems pretty lame.its ok though I'll go home and make my own, and not share my time at your place or send people to your bakery You may want to change your process

My husband ordered a carrot cake for my birthday as that's my favorite. So often we've been disappointed but not this time. This was an amazing carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. The cake was super moist, dense and flavorful. The icing was the perfect texture and sweetness. Even family who prefer other types of cakes were raving how wonderful the cake was. Only one tiny suggestion....leave off the little hard candies that are there for decoration; they add nothing and aren't even good to eat. But don't change anything else. You made me a perfect cake...thank you!

While their breads are the best tasting, in my opinion, their recent (October '14) decision to downsize their packaged loaves from 24-28 oz to only 20 oz across the board is really disappointing.

Worst experience of my life; ordered an 8" and a 10" cake with vanilla buttercream frosting, lemon buttercream and fresh blueberry fillings and no piping of any kind. I planned to stack them in tiers for my daughter's wedding cake. On the big day a friend went to pick the order and was given a single 10" bright yellow cake with piping even though she told them she thought there were two cakes; she took it back from Monkon to S. Burlington where they "remade" it with vanilla buttercream filling and blueberry preserves (the fresh blueberries were used up in the first cakes), and vanilla frosting with piping so I couldn't put ribbon around the base as I'd planned, and I had no time to put the cake together properly at that point. A friend cut the dowels too long and uneven so the cake was a hot mess! The worst part was that the manager tried to blame me for all their mistakes: I didn't say it was for a wedding ( I did, and so what); I didn't say I wanted white frosting (I did, and what color is vanilla buttercream anyway), I didn't allow enough time for putting it together ( it would have been plenty of time for me if we hadn't had to return it), I shouldn't expect them to understand that "no decoration of any kind" means NO PIPING. Please save yourself the heartache of ordering a special cake from Klingers.

Some of the best locally baked bread you'll ever find. I love their seeded baguette. They also have such a lovely pastries that taste as good as they look. I also know that I can always get a good cup of coffee here, never week. You can have them make breakfast sandwiches what sandwiches and panini's on there freshly baked bread.
