Home of the square doughnut. Historic bakery
Their freshly made doughnuts are amazing!
Delicious donuts but expensive.
The BEST donuts around! Better than any donut place I have ever tried!!!
Love this place. Weekly visits.
If you're on a diet, just say no... You'll walk in and be greeted by the smell of 10lbs gained and delicious fresh baked treats. The service is always friendly, the selection is always amazing, and everything is so fresh and tasty. The quality is fantastic, and even though it does cost more than, say, a certain large donut chain - we are talking $17/dozen vs $14 - the quality is well worth the few dollars more.
Loved the small town feel of this place! I was a first timer and they were willing to tell me about what the variety of baked goods they had and I was not disappointed! Will definitely come back!
My wife and I had plans fall through at another bakery for a gender reveal cake that wanted made and Lehi bakery was able to make one for us that same day! They were so kind and accommodating and the cake was delicious. Come here if you want small town quality service that you can’t get anywhere else. Thanks Lehi Country Bakery!
Best donuts I have had in a long time. Couldn't recommend them more.
Best apple fritter ever! The maple bars have whipped frosting (not our favorite) but the fritters are worth it! Square donuts are also delicious
These guys have amazing donuts, as well as other bakery items. Their square glazed donuts are definitely something you need to try, if you haven't yet. The only problem I ever have is how busy they are, with little space to accommodate the crowd on a Saturday. Be ready for a wait if you want your donut fix on a Saturday.
Just moved here from Maine. Have visited family here my whole life. I compare EVERY donut, to Lehi Bakeries...but alas...there is NO comparison... ANYWHERE
Honestly, best doughnuts in the valley. The glazed chocolate cake donut and the buttermilk glazed blew. my. mind. 10/10.
Best place to get donuts in Utah County. Everything they make is delicious we love the chocolate bars and cinnamon rolls. It gets very busy on the weekend so show up early.
Just delicious!
Doughnuts are great, the customers service isn't as good.
Simply the best donuts in the state.
They have, hands down the best maple bars EVER. Great square donuts. Rolls are amazing
Best. Donuts. Ever. I grew up getting donuts from here and I still travel here to get donuts when I want a good one!
The maple bars are to die for. Old fashion buttermilk knots are good too.
Loved the donuts!!! Chewy doughy deliciousness! The staff was extremely helpful and so thoughtful. Very old building but it’s an old city- fits in perfectly. Absolutely will go again and again!
The Lehi bakery has the best donuts I have ever had.
Don’t be fooled by the pictures and locals favorite reviews on google. The last 3 times I’ve been here the place has looked dirty and run down. They’ve never had their signature “square doughnuts” and when asked if they are making anymore that day the employees responded with “probably not” We caved and decided to buy a cookie to placate our daughter who was told she could have a square doughnut. The cookie was nothing special and the employee had to ask for help twice and then just acted annoyed that I was making her work. Poor condition, poor selection, and poor service. Won’t be coming back.
Awesome little bakery. Square donuts are incredible!!!
Best doughnuts ever!!!
Very good apple fritters. Dank.
Like square doughnut
They finally got new credit card machines! This speeds up the process and takes the lines down dramatically. Thank you. Same great donuts, just faster now. It looks like they are cleaning up the place too. Another overdue upgrade.
I've been going to this Bakery since I was a kid it's always awesome and amazing and I love it don't think I go anywhere else
This bakery makes the best square donuts I've ever had! They make them in glazed and in other flavors as well. they also make a variety of other donuts that aren't square but the square glazed donuts are my favorite! My only complaint is that a lot of the assorted donuts vary in price and it's hard to know your total before hand. So it can be a bit pricier if you want assorted donuts. But because of the high quality, I can overlook that. I highly recommend you start with a square donut when you come here!
If you've never had a square donut from the lehi bakery then you better get yourself down to main street. They are seriously little squares of heaven. So light and fluffy, not too much glaze, perfect! We recently moved back to alabama and I've seriously had dreams about lehi bakery. We miss our donut stop so much!
Amazingly good square doughnuts
There is always a line out the door Saturday mornings but the doughnuts are amazingly good and worth the wait.
Best glazed donuts I’ve ever had (and I’m an obsessive go for the classic glazed donut girl). The maple bars melt in your mouth too.
There was a decent line when I showed up. Though it went pretty fast. Donuts were great.
These are the most amazing, delightful, tasty, fluffy, and perfect donuts in the entire state of Utah!! I have tried out almost all of the “best” donut shops in the state, and this place takes the donut!! I absolutely love the square donuts, the cinnamon rolls, and the maple bars. There are a couple others that are my favorites, but I refuse to share that news because I don’t want them to be gone when I show up next time ha ha ha! You will have to explore and find out for yourself.
Will never go there again! Customer service was a fail and the donuts were ok, but expensive! They were busy and you had to scream your order while people were bumping into you. I told the lady helping us that they need a better way to help people when busy and was advised that I should just come back on a different day, because Saturday is their busiest day! That will not happen!
Home of the square donut. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it's a little pricey in my humble opinion.
They only have 1 good thing here, the glazed square donuts. Everything else is subpar. They only sell because people come for the glazed square, but most often they are out or didn't make any and then you're stuck with nothing but upset kids, so you buy their other garbage which is way overpriced because of the reputation of just 1 of their items. They are rude. The place is dirty. They are unprofessional. They dont keep to their regular hours and close randomly. All they would need to do is take 5 seconds post on FB daily if they change hours, or when they are out of square glazed etc.. but they run their business by making a few of the good things and then selling junk to people who drive 20 minutes just to find out they don't have the glazed that day. Eventually somebody who knows how to run a steady professional business will just copy these square glazed donuts and these guys will be shot down. The square glazed is good, but nothing better than Krispy Kreme. So just drive to orem and get Krispy where you at least know 100% they will have them
Absolutely the best. The first time I ate one of their donuts it was a day old and it was still the best I've ever had. You have to eat one fresh it really will change your life
Very good fresh donuts and breads. The glazed square donuts will melt in your mouth!!
The only donuts that are worth the calories! Best donuts in the state!
Happened to drop by on a Saturday night an hour before close. The bakery literally had a few loaves of day old bread and some cookies, aside from the bag of rolls we bought. The rolls turned out to be delicious, and were a fair price. I'm excited to visit at a better time to try some other items!
I loved that even though we got there in late afternoon the donuts were still soft and fresh!
I ordered a birthday cake from Lehi Country Bakery for my 7 year old last year. I wanted something that tasted like real food, and not like the waxy stuff I kept getting at the grocery store bakeries. The cake ended up tasting really good- my daughter, her little friends, and the relatives all enjoyed it. If I remember correctly, the price for a half sheet was comparable to what I have paid at the grocery store (maybe a little more, but definitely reasonable), and the quality was much, much better. I just ordered another cake (different flavor) for my son's upcoming birthday, and am looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
Best doughnuts ever. Home of the square doughnut.
Have family that go out of their way to stop here any time they are near, friendly, mom and pop style bakery, famous for their square glazed donuts!
Always friendly staff and delicious baked goods!
The donuts are probably the best I've ever had!
Best donuts! Everything is amazing!
Friendly staff. Great classic Midwestern style donuts. Awesome fritters
Lehi Bakery is a great, independent, hometown bakery. The breads are wonderful and the sweet are amazing. Don't miss the opportunity to take a taste.
Yummy in my tummy
Tried 3 different style of doughnuts as a comparison. All were a little doughy. The chocolate was only average compared to other places. The cinnamon roll had almost no cinnamon in it, mostly sugar. The frosting on the cinnamon roll was mediocre. Three different trips were made to the store with similar results. Lots of sugar and little flavor
Wow! The highlights for me are the old fashioned buttermilk bars and square donuts. I am still salivating after that buttermilk bar. I was only able to eat half of it too. I will definitely be back
Just before closing there’s not much of a selection, but the items that we Did purchase were absolutely delicious!! Very friendly staff!
I have been going to this bakery for years and have always been more than pleased with the quality of the doughnuts; however, this last week I order a dozen of my favorite (old fashioned doughnuts). They were dry, heavy and small compared to the one's I have purchased in the past. I was very disappointed to say the least. I was later told by someone that the bakery changed hands in November. If this is the quality of doughnuts the new owners are putting out they can count me out. I know that getting used to a new business can take time but you would think after 4 months they should be able to get it right? I will give them another try and hope that they have finally accomplished the learning curve, if not I will not be purchasing doughnuts from them again.
Finally got in to try some famous square donuts and other pastries. They were very good
Delicious can not accurately describe the taste and perfection of their donuts. Do NOT eat here if you want to spend the rest of your life eating sugar covered dissapointment from other bakeries. These will be the best donuts you will ever eat. Absolutely the best donuts I've ever eaten in my life.
Pretty good donuts
Easily my family's favorite donut shop. Their Maple bars and buttermilk bars are our favorite donuts, but can't go wrong with any of them.
Among the best doughnuts anywhere. Always fresh. Just the right amount of glaze\toppings. They don't try to get overly fancy or crazy; just really amazing doughnuts.
Best donuts and rolls around
Pretty good. Charge per donut though, not by number.
Best damn donuts EVER
The best old timey donuts we've found in Utah! Their old fashion donut is our hands down favorite!
I went in the afternoon and there were two trays left with a few stale donuts and gingerbread crackers. There was a fly buzzing around in the display case that was landing on the cookies. I'd heard so many good things about this place but it was scary when I went in
Love this place! These doughnuts melt in your mouth ... SO good
Wouldn't sell me more than ONE dozen donuts. I have been coming here for almost 10 years. Today was my last time. I will find a new bakery.
Awesome doughnuts
The square donut has good reason for its hype. Also, the large eclair is a maple bar cut in half with vanilla pudding. IT WAS AMAZING!
Square doughnuts are like magical care bear clouds of happiness whilst riding a unicorn. Calories worth not counting.
Lehi Bakery will always be my favorite bakery!!!
These donuts are SO tasty. I've tried so many different ones here. Seriously some of the best. This place is so beloved by the community. There will most likely be a line when you go but they're pretty fast! They're famous for their square donuts! It's definitely old and a little run down and there isn't really a place to sit and enjoy the donuts. I WISH there was! I wish there was a drive-thru too! With those upgrades, I'd give this place 5 stars no questions.
Best bakery hands down no questions.
Seriously my favorite donuts ever! It’s a shame they are so expensive. 3 maple bars and a raspberry filled donut over $9
Really good, solid donuts with a nice variety of toppings. Seems like mostly raised donuts rather than cake, but will have to go back to do more research. Definitely better than a chain donut, by far! The doughs differ between the various types of donuts, which is great, and the square donuts are definitely fun. Overall, very tasty.
The best donuts you will ever have! If you like coconut, you have to try the coconut crunch donut.
Very good delicious donuts, bought pretty much 1 of every donuts they sell. They were all really good, all were eaten and they all tasted homemade. My all favs are the sugar and glazed donuts. The wife's favs are the fritters. Which are the apple and either strawberry or raspberry fritter which tasted fantastic! They are a little expensive but well worth the time. If you go there go early because its always packed and they run out fast.
Five stars for the Lehi Country Bakery. Their square donuts are the best donuts, their service is great, and just the feel of being in the bakery is fun. It smells delicious, and they have many other baked products that are great.
home-town goodness.... consistently some of the best tasting doughnuts within 50 miles in my opinion. the staff has always been friendly and cheerful. The time I tried their breads, they tasted sweet like a doughnut. So stick with the doughnuts. Great service and great product.
Hands down best glazed donut I have ever had. When I go to a donut shop, I do not go for a glazed donut, they are usually bland and boring. This place will blow your mind! It's definitely a hole in the wall but don't let it fool you, they will change your glaze hating heart! GET A SQUARE DONUT
I love the orange rolls and chocolate twist doughnuts. They have several items that are unique to their bakery. I often find myself there when they are closed. I don't like their hours.
I love these donuts! Been coming here since I was a kid. Disappointed that the last 2 times I came 40 minutes for lemon pockets and get home to have raspberry or apple pocket. Call to let them know and get silence on the other end. Not sure I will be driving 40 minutes for donuts anymore... Disappointed in customer care.
Decent donuts but way over priced. They leave a fry oil aftertaste,
Believe me, I know it sounds weird because it's hard to imagine how one donut could be all that much different from another, but these donuts are so much better than any other donuts I've ever eaten. It's worth even a half hour drive.
Hands down the best donuts around! This bakery knows how to make amazing donuts.
I have always enjoyed my visits to Lehi Bakery. The service is constantly pleasant. The food is delicious.
Best fresh donuts around. I appreciate that they are a local MaPa shop.
I know I took a bite out of the glaze, but these donuts are tiny. They were very tasty donuts, but they are tiny. $2.19 for a maple bar, .95 for the extra small square glaze, and 1.29 for the chocolate with sprinkles. After tax these donuts were $4.56... a small fortune. The location is out of the way. The inside is old and small (obviously the overhead isn't justifying the price of donuts) and you have to awkwardly stand between two cash registers to order, then work your way around other people to pay. They need to strategize or something and toss out the ugly donuts. I should have known a square donut just wasn't right.
Very big clean. They just need to open concession stand. They're losing alot of business
The best bakery ever. Donuts melted on your mouth home of the square donut
Awesome! The best doughnuts around, or should I say squared. Give em a try.
Maple bars, alligator jaws and square donuts are the best in Utah County! The cakes are so good from this place too! My favorite bakery!
Best donuts ever!
This is one of the best bakeries for miles. They make handmade delicious doughnuts each morning they are open. The only downside is their store is small so it gets crowded during peak times. Also because of its size they have limited stock, so if there is something you want get there before at least noon or call to see what they have available. Their glazed square doughnuts are some of the best doughnuts anywhere. Their buttermilk doughnuts are really good, but they sell out fast!
I read a bunch of reviews and no talks about the hamburger donut. I make my relatives coming back from Utah bring me these things they are amazing!!
Always run out of square donuts. Good luck getting some. Rest of the stuff here isnt great.
Delicious but limited selection
While I haven't tried all their offerings, I can say I've had many of their doughnuts and I've yet to taste anything better. They are fresh and amazingly delicious. If you like apple fritters that actually have apple in them, you've got to try theirs. You know when you pick one up it's loaded with apples because it's heavy. The balance between fruit and pastry seems perfect! I can't comment on the service, because they are usually brought to work by someone else. Sorry, I must discontinue this review now because I'm getting hungry while I'm still full!
Best bakery around. I will go out of my way to go here.
This place is a small family owned bakery that packs in the customers. There's usually a line out the door. People rave about the donuts and pastries.
Tried here after having a LIFE CHANGING doughnut. They call it the "Long John" and it comes in Maple or Chocolate with a creamy filling that is the tastiest filling I've ever had. I've knocked a star off only because the selection of doughnuts is pretty sparse compared to other doughnut places in the area and they are also slightly more expensive. But totally delicious! Note: You are charged per doughnut, not per dozen, and different types cost more. As a heads up to any first-timers
Nice employees , super good doughnuts.
Best apple fritter in the state that I have tried. Lines are long in the morning but worth the wait. Be a good customer and have some idea of what you want before you step up to order. Also if you want a large order you need to order ahead of time or they won’t serve you.
Probably some of the best donuts you can ever have. Staff is really friendly.
Was not very impressed with the maple bar but some of the other doughnuts were pretty good
I would almost move to Lehi just to be closer to this bakery. Almost. The buttermilk bars and square coconut crunch donuts are amazing! Keep in mind there is massive demand on Saturday mornings and they usually sell out of everything by noon. So, if you want donuts on Saturday you need to order them at least three days in advance. If you love stale grocery store donuts then the premium prices and delicious flavors of Lehi Bakery products will be lost on you. But if you love fresh square donuts this place can't be beat.
You can smell the deliciousness from the street. I stopped in to buy one donut for my wife. Walked out with donuts to share with everyone!
Alligator Jaws! It was so fun to buy these for my kids and relive the childhood memory of my grandma treating me to them at the local bakery ❤
Best Donuts for SURE!! Love me some Lehi Bakery!!
Great little bakery! Good variety and it's got a nice home town feel. They have peanut free options which is nice for my family. Try them out.
Their old fashioned donut is mind blowing! Everything is so fresh and it feels like such a quaint small town bakery, because it is. They beat all the big name donut places hands down.
This bakery has the best maple bars with sliced almonds not too. Worth the drive to Lehi.
Busy place! Fresh donuts & pastries, and very informed, friendly staff. Will definitely visit again!
I love this place!! Fresh tasty donuts. Love the square glazed and the Maple Bars. Lehi's best!! Friendly service.
One of the best Bakeries in Utah hands down. Some of the best donuts you’ll ever try and I think I have tried quiet a few both in US and Europe. The Maple bars are superb as well as their German Chocolate donuts. The Traditional donuts are great too but I think I could say the same about every single item on this bakery (yes , I have tried them all , basically). So my recommendations , besides going for the regular or square donuts is the Maple and Buttermilk bars as well as the Danish Parking around is a little bit tricky and if you’re planning to go there on the weekend (Sunday’s abs Monday’s are closed) plan to be there before 9 am , otherwise you won’t find much variety.
This place is very old and has the awkward smell of many years of pastries. It even has only the word "Bakery" like they did 60 years ago. I was a little worried, but it turned out to be great. The building was not be pretty, but it is clean, and nothing "run down" is important (could use new paint, baseboards etc.) All of the baking supplies and ingredients are in good order and condition. I know because you can see the kitchen when you walk in. The people were friendly, prices reasonable, and pastries/donuts delicious. It is now my family's preferred spot to get treats. We don't even live near Lehi so we make an excursion to go there on celebration days. Our favorites are the cinnamon rolls (I prefer no raisins), foot donuts, and 20 cent cookies. I highly recommend trying this place. You won't be sad you did.
These donuts have been enchanted I think for us muggles to give away our money for donuts. My bet is the imperius curse because at my last visit I bought donuts against my will. Yeah, my wife didn't believe me either but she's a muggle so there's that.
Everything has been good every time we have been there.
Love their donuts. Other baked goods are also amazing. They're my go to for donuts. Hit the craving every time.
Great Donuts!
Great product and wonderful service
Pretty good donuts, high prices. My reason for 2 stars is they never make enough donuts. The past 2 times I’ve showed up at 5pm right after work (1 hour before they close at 6pm) and they are completely OUT OF DONUTS. Very disappointing. I’ll be going to Krispy Kreme from now on.
This place has some of the yummiest doughnuts and cinnamon rolls I've ever had!
Best glazed doughnuts in Utah County.
I have yet to find any donut better than their old fashioned or buttermilk bars. And to be honest that is about all I get when I go now. They are somewhat famous for the glazed donuts because they are square, but they are always a little undercooked for me. They do make a good raised with peanut butter frosting.
Good donuts right send the corner from the Legacy Center, perfect for an after-dinner snack for the kids. The square donuts are a fun novelty that melt in your mouth. And strawberry fritters!
Donuts...need I say more. They are sugary & sweet. Known as the home of the square donut, it's just another donut. All in all seems expensive for just you run of the mill pastries.
Good donuts, alright service, very expensive. Don't go after 11 am, glazed and chocolate will be sold out & not re supplied. All donuts done by hand, which is great! Don't be surprised if you pay full price for a bar and get a lumpy half bar out of all the whole bars.
The absolute best donuts in the valley
The donut twists are to die for! Everything thing else is yummy too!
Incredible donuts! So fresh and delicious! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because they were not open today (7/22/17) . I got there at 6:40am so I could be first in line. There were already people lined up. The sign on the door said they open at 7 (same as Google) but no one was in the bakery. They were closed. A lot of us waited around for 20-30 minutes but no one ever came. It would have been kind of them to at least put a sign on the door if they were not going to open at the designated times. Super bummed because we have family in from out of state and they were looking forward to trying the square donuts!
Perfect texture and moistness of donuts. I personally don't like the extra flavor in the plain donuts, it tastes like anise.
Lehi Bakery—home of the legendary square donut. ◼️+
One of the best kept secrets in Lehi! Our favorite bakery in Utah county. Delicious treats with a great variety!
OMG!!! These donuts were amazing! We got the square glazed donuts and it was like tasting a piece of heaven. You have to go early or you won't get one though because they are so popular. Kinda crowded and small though, but in a good way.
Delicious! Higher quality offerings than what is available in a typical grocery store bakery. Also, be prepared to pay more but in my opinion it is well worth it.
Some of their donuts are merely excellent. Their old fashion donut is better than excellent. It was the best old fashion donut I've ever had.
Great doughnuts, fast friendly service
S Q U A R E D O U G H N U T S <3
Everywhere I go I try donuts. In 15 years of searching, I still haven't found anywhere better than Lehi Bakery. The Maple bars are hand frosted and amazing. The buttermilk donuts are impossible to describe.
This is a great, fun place to go! It can get quite busy and there might not be lots of standing room as you wait in line, but the wait is worth it! Prices are slightly on the expensive side and half of the staff seems too busy to smile, but they’re friendly nonetheless.
The old fashioned is a must! Get it and thank me later
This place often has a line for a good reason.
Someone has been bringing these in to our workplace. Simply the best donuts I've ever had, and I've had quite a few. Far better than Krispy Kreme's. You've gotta try these.
We just found out about this place and it is the best we have found around here. Donuts were incredible! Bought a dozon different ones, and everyone of them are delicious! We will be going there for our Saturday donuts for now on.
Literally the best donuts anywhere. Not being open on Monday makes me very sad. Of all the days of the week, this is when we need donuts the most.
Honestly this place frustrates me to no end. They're always closed, they're expensive, and they run out of things too quickly. But they know what they have, and that's some of the best pastries of all time. According to supply and demand, if you've got something people need, you get to make the rules. They're expensive, but totally worth it. They run out too quickly because PEOPLE BUY ALL OF THEIR STUFF AS SOON AS THEY ARE OPEN. Honestly I'd be worried if they were fully stocked later in the day because that would mean they aren't selling. Go, go early, and get some super tasty donuts.
I have lived in Lehi for almost a decade now, and I absolutely love Lehi Bakery. Their friendly and calm employees are kind and generous. They are helpful and professional. The food is divine and always fresh and perfect. I've had at least a dozen varieties of their baked goods and have never been disappointed.
Donuts we're great. I especially enjoyed the one with peanut butter frosting.
Fantastic donuts. My favorite in Utah
Delicious doughnuts. Probably the best in the area. Worth the trip. Friendly staff.
I love the maple bars!
My wife will only eat these doughnuts. They are the best.
The old-fashioned is literally my favorite donut ever (though it will occasionally suffer from too much nutmeg). The other donuts are fine, but this donut alone is what earns this bakery five stars!
Best bakery ever! Everything is delicious. I've been coming here with my mom since I was a kid. Now that she's gone it's nice to come back and reminisce with a square donut and cinnamon bread.
Best donuts I've ever had! Who woulda thought square donuts are the best?
