I went today to preorder a Birthday cake for my wife, we loved their pastries and food, and besides good food we are looking for a great service, Savannah was GREAT!!! Top notch, really nice and accommodating with good suggestions based on your needs. We know the cake would be super tasty as usual and the service was outstanding. Thanks a lot...

We waited in line for desserts (over ten minutes) and when asked to be served in a plate, the gal behind the counter said if we wanted a plate, we should sit down and order from a server. We just wanted to eat our dessert kinda quickly, not produce so much waste (we got two boxes, a paper bag and two plastic utensils for two small desserts) and go on our merry way. Although the desserts were good, I don’t think I will be coming back because the plastic consumerism bothered me quite a bit. Gourmandise, please consider greener option.

Leticia Perez

Hubby and I came down to SLC for our 15 year anniversary and we were not wanting dinner type of food, we found this place and decided to try it out. Omg! Loved it! The large hit chocolate cup was delicious and dessert...I wanted to try them all! Definitely what we needed for a late night meal, so far, our favorite place for desserts. Service was great as well, we will definitely be coming back.

Vasco Elbrecht

Desserts more on the expensive side, but good quality. Decent, only complaint is that the mango on dessert was not quite ripe. Still a good place to go for a cofe. Good atmosphere.

Shannon Ross

I had heard about this place years ago and finally had an opportunity to try it out. The pastries are AMAZING! I had the lemon bar and my friend had a mango tart. Both were phenomenal and I can’t wait to return and try some others. I also had a mocha, which is why this isn’t a 5 star review. It wasn’t very flavorful and I wouldn’t recommend it. Definitely go for the pastries though!

Janet Simon

Food quality top notch. Staffing a bit erratic but they charmed me by doubling my take home cookie purchase as a friendly bonus. Look forward to a return visit next time I visit SLC.

Sarah Tenney

What a lovely delightful surprise! Highly recommend this after a play or special event to close off your evening perfect! Next time I will enjoy a hot chocolate with our desert! Very quaint, happening local place. The apple cinnamon bread pudding with vanilla ice cream was perfect!

Jennifer Chase

Best pastries in all of SLC. I am very happy they opened a place in Draper, now can you open one in east Millcreek? That area is in dire need of a quality pastry shop. Everything here is done right, it's done well, and I always have top-notch service. I've gone about a dozen times so far. I'm willing to pay when it's done right, and the Gourmandise does it right.

Margaret Rijkelijkhuizen

Great favorite location with the locals. So. Come early to get parking. Menu is great, tortes, desserts fabulous, wine selection also more than adequate

Christina Morgan

Best food in SLC. The desserts are off the charts amazing.

Mindy Allen

This place is my niece's favorite, so when I asked her recently if she wanted to go to dinner, I knew what the answer would be. The service is always great. Attentive, but not intrusive. The food is amazing. This time I had the tri tip, and it was so tender it melted in my mouth. The menu changes often, which is both a good and a bad thing. It means new things to try, but also, the thing you loved last time you were there might not be available any more.

Melissa Andrea Gutiérrez

One of my favorite places to eat in Utah! I miss it now that we’ve moved. The food is good, but it’s their pastries that are WONDERFUL! This is a great place to go for breakfast, brunch or lunch. It’s also a good place to go after dinner for a late-night dessert. It’s a good idea to call and ask for a reservation if it’s the weekend and if they take reservations, as it can get quite crowded and there might be quite a wait. A lot of their servers seem to be international, which is cool. If you’re just there to grab some pastries from the counter, you can just go buy some and go. Their bread is also good. The restaurant itself is really cute. I miss this place!

Michael Smith

If you want quality food and most excellent service you cannot get better than this place. There is not a word good enough to describe this place. I believe it's called Heaven if there were such a word. Fine fine fine everything!

Sierra Nelson

First time visiting the SLC location and it is beautiful! The outside seating would be phenomenal on a nice cool day. The frites were slightly underwhelming as they felt a bit old as if they had been sitting around for a bit. The prices of the desserts are also a bit steep. Overall though, Gourmandise is a great place to stop for good tasting food and a lovely experience.

Devon Patey

Food was great. The waitress was really nice and attentive and service was quick during my lunch. I'll definitely be going back.

Joe Busby

A little busy, but that's because the food and pastries are amazing. Definitely work the wait. 10 out of 10 recommended!!!

Allison Macias

Food was great, but the service was awful. The waitress Karla was rude as if we were getting food for free. We asked for spoons and she gave us a face like what for? I guess we will get things to go next time.

Nohemy Maughan

I was there the other night with my friends and nobody knows nothing. We want a table and the woman there was very rude.

Alison B

This place is a gem. Beautiful building and even more beautiful pastries. I recommend the pastry called the Peach.

American Mormon

The food at this bakery is completely out of this world phenomenal! My Wife and I went there on our honey at the very end of June, 2018. We were so impressed by how amazing the staff and general manager were. They were so helpful and kind when I had questions regarding the menu. You can tell everyone likes there job because when you walk in everyone seems so genuine and up beat. The food was so flavorful and I felt like I was in heaven with every single bite! The atmosphere was so incredible and it's a win because it made my wife so happy as well. We hope to go back as much as possible especially because of how great the staff was!!! Way to go Gourmandise!

Madison Moore

This is my favorite bakery... I come here anytime I’m in slc - sometime my mom and I set up special dates just to come here! The pear almond tartlette is my ultimate fave sweet treat... but everything I’ve eaten here is amazing! Don’t expect it to be cheap... you pay the price for the quality foods you get!!

Alexandria Wells

Good desserts but don’t eat here. Food is overpriced and the staff takes FOREVER. Even if it’s not busy. It’s also pretty filthy with flies swarming your food.

Laura McIntyre

I met some friends here for dessert, and it was fantastic! Every kind of baked dessert, and everything was so beautiful and delicious. I chose the mango raspberry tartlette and chocolate-dipped cream puffs. Both out of this world. Amazing! I will definitely be back!

Cayson Staples

The food is excellent and priced for what you get. I would never consider paying $12 or $14 for a grilled cheese, but this one was worth it! Even with the seemingly overwhelming workload, the host and servers were exceptionally prepared. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a new place to try. I only gave four stars because of the frustrating parking situation. The signage provided by the parking enforcement services was poor and almost appeared to be intentionally placed. Our citation was time stamped 25 minutes after we arrived at the restaurant. We were cited with a $45 fee and spent just over one hour in the restaurant. I don't believe it was a coincidence that parking enforcement just happened to be there that quickly... It's seemingly obvious that their predatory nature relies on unsuspecting customers coming to this restaurant as a source of revenue. To Gourmandise Bakery: Please consider working with Diamond Parking to provide better signage. This was a frustrating discovery after such a great experience in your restaurant. Yes, we should be aware of our surroundings and pay attention to things like this...but I have a strong suspicion this is a regular occurrence in your parking lot.

Matt Stanley

pastries are delicious. This place is how you get fat quick.

Justin Griffin

Love the pasties here. Great place to come in the evening for a date night. Got a strawberry ring and chocolate decadence cake. Both are amazing! Highly recommended.

Kelli Brewer

I love love love this place for deserts! The tiramisu and macaroons are amazing!

Emily Bell

I didn't get dinner, although the options looked wonderful. I got dessert. It was so delicious and consisted of layers of chocolate mousse, cake and something fudge-y. I had a bite of my friend's marzipan which was also delicious. The space was bright and charming, the staff was helpful and I can't wait to take my husband there.

Hannah Evanson

Apparently places like this actually exist in Utah!?!!! I was enraptured from the moment I opened the door. Staff is knowledgeable and kind. Atmosphere is extra pleasant. The food. Is. PHENOMENAL. Highly recommend the butternut pasta; want to try the steak and blueberry compote salad

Adam Ford

Love this place. Great service and their millefeuille is superb.

Erich Newey

Wonderful dining spot. Great sandwiches and salads. The french dip is a personal favorite. My wife likes to get the chicken curry sandwich. Tasty desserts; they do a creme brulee properly. The tiramisu is awesome, and I enjoy a chocolate dipped peanut butter cookie as well. Friendly courteous staff. Hard to say enough good things about this place. It's a staple amongst salt lake eateries.

Lin Watchorn

The desert here is absolutely incredible! The food is also great I love the blueberry grilled cheese.

Donald Ulvestad

A place for gourmet food at a reasonable price. They also have a big service counter with what must be 100 different deserts.

Raymond Rudd

Very quaint. Good feeling. Nice personal.

Zachary Hyatt

Our coffees here were terrific! Perfect drinking temperatures, large sizes, and we loved the beans they used. The desserts we got were incredible as well. Service was also great, and they were very quick even though they were busy. The rest of their menu looked enticing as well, so we'll definitely be going back for more!

Sherril Ann Stephens

Delicious food. Definitely going back soon and telling my friends about this place.

Rüdiger Lehnardt

The food is great! However, it is way too noisy to carry on a conversation with friends. We love a cozy environment where we can visit over a splendid meal. Wish you guys would figure out a way to dampen the racket so we'd be return customers.

DL Beaven

Sarena and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. Mangesh was our server, and his professionalism and enthusiasm was on full display - he loves his job and genuinely strives to provide the best possible experience for those he serves. And he succeeded! Sarena and I both had the chicken pesto panini, I had a lovely fresh green side salad with bleu cheese dressing (which creamy and subtle, not at all overpowering) and Sarena had the tomato basil soup - I stole a taste and it was absolutely superb! The best tomato soup I've ever enjoyed. The panini was another winner, the artisan bread lightly grilled with that lovely crispiness on the edges with soft melted cheese and pesto chicken inside. We ate on the outdoor patio and the ambiance was relaxed and very comfortable - though inside was loud, busy and full, with cheerful conversations that could be heard coming from every table. Finished our meal with a dark chocolate mousse-like desert I can't recall the name of, but it was divine! If you have a weakness for chocolate, you will experience bliss with every bite. We will definitely be going again, next time for the turkey avocado panini! Thank you Mangesh and all the staff at Gourmandise!

Mary Deischel

I dined in with a friend, and we sat at an outdoor table. Good coffee, and they warmed my chocolate croissant for me, which made it just perfect. I love this place.

Alex Lallas

The deserts are really good. I love the place. Good staff as well.

Stephen Thompson

Had the Croque Madame, a fantastic blend of flavors and some dessert. I’ve been driving past this place for too long. I loved it, it was quiet, delicious and quick. Service was relaxing and wonderful. I will definitely come here as an alternative to places like Oasis, Cafè Amour, etc. The plus side is you have baked goods! And they’re delectable!

LoloLannd

Gourmandise is one of the best date-night hot spots in Utah. Romantic setting, and decadent desserts: two of the important factors. The pastries are a little expensive, but well-worth the price. The food is alright, but we usually go for dinner somewhere else, and then save room for a Gourmandise dessert (or four)! Be aware that this place is packed on weekend evenings; if you want a specific dessert, or a wider array to choose from, go earlier, as they are often sold out of items in the evening.

David T

My family and I had their deserts few time now when we have gone downtown. The deserts are out of this world! The cafe is always packed with satisfied people eating their deserts as well breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Will definitely need to try brunch sometime soon.

Kaci Whitby

The creme brulee oatmeal is my absolute favorite. I order it every time I'm there. I will work trips to SLC around this place. I had an appointment at Huntsman once and it was pretty emotional afterwards and I wanted their fries. It wasn't lunch time yet but I was crying and the waitress made it happen. I was so appreciative of her making that happen for me. I love this place. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because sometimes we have to wait a while for service and that gets annoying, esp when you see lots of other people standing around by the register and you just want service.

Single Mom Adventures

I love this place! The food is always delicious! Coffee is really good!

Nena Alex

Food is good pastries delicious but a couple months ago the waitress decided to up her tip I had given her to more. 4 stars 5 months ago is what I gave had that not happened i would have given 5. I visited yesterday food and pastry good. Guess what happened THE WAITRESS DECIDED TO OVER TIP HERSELF! Very very disappointed 2x in less than 6 months people keep your receipts and double check fraud and theft going on with their waitresses!

Mallory Rogers

Wonderful food, lovely atmosphere, great service. Don't skip out on the dessert!

Lisa Sandstrom

The food was fabulous! Jose was wonderful and helped us when our server was too busy.

Alan Madsen

Very beautiful baked deliciousness. Always difficult to choose just one dessert. The food is great also if you have time to sit down.

Ali M.

Cakes are delicious and high quality. They used to be available until closing, however, now the popular flavors tend to run out a couple of hours before closing. Used to frequent here often, disappointed with the shortage of cake flavors... For example, ordered a cake flavor, server came back to report they had sold the last slice since speaking with me. Waitress was very friendly and nice.

Alex Dayton

I feel refined and sophisticated (on a budget). ... and the desserts .... yes!!!

Mike Hall

Great place for desserts! Excellent hot chocolate! Bathrooms clean and restaurant was clean as well. A little crowded, but overall great experience!

Kendra Weyhrauch

This is my favorite place to take out of town visitors and to get dessert. Their salted chocolate chip cookie is bomb, as has been every piece of patisserie I’ve had. Do not skip the sweets!

Brielle Meyers

It’s always so so yummy and such a great French bakery atmosphere! Even breakfast is amazing!

Rachelle Wall

We had the turkey club which was great. and the blueberry grilled cheese that the waitress recommended. It was different but delicious! Different than i would've thought to get, and I'm glad i listened to her. We also tried the cream of mushroom soup, it was AMAZING!! I would come back just for that! I also highly recommend the peach for dessert.

Ally Broskey

I love the grilled cheese sandwich and their mimosas. Lunch hour however is difficult when you have a time limit.

Aubrey S

Super delicious food! I would eat here all the time if I was a local. Would recommend the Greek sandwich and tomato soup

Micah Lloyd

Everything is so good there! Parking is a little tight though.

Colette McAfee

Good food and excellent desserts. Love the passion fruit mousse.

Sophy Long

The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are so caring and great! They make sure you are completely.assisted!

Rochelle Lake

The host, Kowhan, was extremely rude, service very slow and the pastries were mediocre at best. I used to eat here regularly but I won’t be back,

Renee LaGrant

The salads there are just the best especially the shrimp and avocado salad

Matt Steadman

I've enjoyed their baked goods many times, but this was the first time I ever had a meal there. I had a delicious beef brisket grilled cheese sandwich. In retrospect, I wish I had gotten the Reuben. I will be back for it!

Alex Andersen

I’m not usually a pasta eater but DANG do I live for the asparagus parm pasta they have. I would specifically go there when I knew they were serving it. Once we had it with steak, holy moly *DROOL*... Super sad it’s no longer on the lunch menu. The vegetable pasta is good, but just isn’t as good. However, five stars because this place is amazing anyway.

Tatiana Grant

I've loved this place.since the first time I went in. They do a great job with their bakery.

Linda Llewelyn

We love this place! The food is delicious and the service is great. The pastries/desserts are unique and the presentation is impressive! It’s a great new addition to the Draper area.

Beth Mendez

Came here for dessert after dinner. Sister got a rum cake pastry and we both got cappuccinos. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Not a ton of options for people with food sensitivities, but they did have some so that was a nice surprise. Service was great even though the place was packed!

Cesar Sanchez

Great selection of cakes for all taste buds! Delicious food and outstanding service!

Bearly Noticeable

The clientele is a little bougie. The staff however is quite nice very friendly. Pretty good food okay coffee.

Hugo Ortiz

Service most of the times is good. Food is very light, but tasty. You can't miss their Quiches and the French Onion soup. About the desserts the Passion Fruit mousse cake and Pailletin are just delectable and mouthwatering.

Matthew Buccilli

The waitstaff was perfect. Conscious of our needs, and able to pick the most appropriate time to come up and check on us. Definitely one of the best services I've received in a long time. Only had some of the desserts, but holy cow those were delectable.

Shawn Edwards

Such a great place to eat. Awesome outdoor patio

A-Aron

French cuisine, delicious.... good service, great selection

Jennifer McGrew

There's a dessert for every taste here. And their coffee's gotten better, too. My fave is the roasted veggies sandwich.

Stacie Graves

Ordered the French onion soup, a plate of veggies and a variety of pastries. Although the pastries are good I often go away REALLY glad that I tried the food. Love!! My go-to favorite treat is the raspberry brownie. (Not pictured). It's simple, but rich and you get both a fruity treat and some good deep chocolate flavor!

Chef Marcela IG: fashionpastrychef

I love the Strawberry ring is simple, and super delicious! The service could definitely improve. The sandwiches and salads are also great things to order!

Krista Chugg

Very cute little bakery! The outdoor seating is really romantic with all the lighting! A little on the pricy end but worth it

Jeff Glover

Excellent desserts in the European style. Light and not overly filling. The regular menu is above average, too. Outdoor seating is nice in good weather. A favorite of ours when in SLC.

Johnny Stone

Very tasty, colorful, calm, and welcoming. Only had a dessert, thought they would have more options.

Winston Behle

This place is really hit or miss. I've had some amazing dishes here and some pretty bad ones too. Their french onion soup is awesome, and their brie bacon grilled cheese is amazing... if it's cooked right. I've had them bring it out to me nice, toasty and crisp, and I've had them bring it out soggy and sad. If they could be a little more consistent I'd give them a higher rating.

Scott Baird

The passion fruit (lilikoi) mousse cake is always incredible! Most if the other things they sell are amazing as well.

The Pie

First time visitor to the restaurant and I was impressed. All the cakes and French pastrys look amazing. I had the salmon en croute for dinner and I thought it was really food. The lobster sauce is so good I would put it on everything.

Nada Plooster

Great service! Clean place and delicious food!

Emily Stewart

Fantastic food! They made a great steak, and the pastries are to die for. I could easily go back over and over just to eat desert. Prices were also reasonable.

John Vo

Some of the best French pastries you can find in Salt Lake. Their food is also really yummy! Be careful going on a weekend evening, since it's always packed. I seriously recommend their passionfruit mouse cake and their strawberry mille feuille (which is almost always sold out). Parking is a bit of a challenge at times in their lot, so keep an eye out for some street parking.

Shiz Shangor

Always really great food and atmosphere. Service is great too! Recommended.

Sitti Sufliah Suhardi

LOVE the place. Dine in or take out always happy with the cake. Its such nice place for a date or just hanging out with friends. Just remember on Friday and Saturday night it usually packed. So plan your visit. But you wont be disappointed.

Matt Herr

Amazing. Been in Salt Lake innumerable times and wondering how I ever missed this spot. Lord have mercy the Kouig-Amann is unbelievable! Great service, lovely outdoor patio area and decent coffee. They have other items besides pastries but I doubt I’ll get to that part of the menu for quite a few visits. They have decent parking but I’m guessing lunch hour might be tricky.

Suzanne Ostler

Pastries are simply magnifique!

Jessica Watson

The dessert and customer service was great but I wish the prices were lower :)

Chris Rule

My wife and I walked half a mile to eat breakfast here. It was worth it! In hind sight, we could have driven, there is parking. We ate a light breakfast and got a Strawberry Ring pastry to go. It was FANTASTIC!! The coffee is great and the atmosphere is bright and inviting. This is a cool spot!

Enola Pineda

Excellent pastries and coffee. The food is ok.

Dakota Cannell

This place should be called Gluttonise. The fruity desserts are fantastic; light and refreshing. While the chocolate desserts are enough to break the bank and your caloric intake. And though I've normally gone only for the desserts, their meals are phenomenal as well. And the shaded patio is a pleasant place to sit on a cooling summer eve.

neil b

I got soup and a couple desserts, which were very good. However I wanted a loaf of bread, which they didn't have. They offered to sell me individual slices of bread for 1.71 each. No thanks I just stopped by Harmon's for a sourdough boule.

Toodull Wang

Moved to another state and I will come back for the delicious dessert.

Dave Sonntag

Worst croissants ever. Staff abuses the dough. Go to Smith's instead, just slightly less over-developed gluten.

Kendra Rone

Great food with wonderful gluten free options!

Kaitlyn Sciortino

Good gluten free options. Salads do not disappoint.

Mitch Mayfield

I guess I am used to sweeter and more flavorful pastries. I thought it was eh, I wouldn't have minded the expense if it was as tasty as Mike's in Boston, MA.

JD Caldwell

Gourmandise certainly needs no introduction as one of Salt Lake's best bakeries, and their service either at counter or for dine-in has always been very friendly and timely, and they are always willing to give a recommendation on what to try! Centrally located and easy to find, this is a perfect place for an evening jaunt to satisfy your sweet tooth and grab a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. Bring a friend and share bites!

Daren Couch

I love this place! My wife and I used to go here when we were students at the University of Utah. We found that we really liked going for breakfast with our daughter (we now have 2). The food is really good, delicious, and the atmosphere is inviting and lovely. Great work Gourmandise!

Maritza Galvan

This place is one of my favs!! The brownie and hot chocolate are amazing and the cake is perfect for any occasion. The service always it's nice, but I think that it's no a place for food, I tried the salad and was so small, but all the desserts are delicious

April Dansie

One of my favorite bakeries in the city. Always excellent service, and the food is always delicious. Try everything! ❤️

Johnny Murdock

This is a must if you haven’t been here before. Here are the reasons why: • There is original food here that you can’t find anywhere else which happens to be incredible • The vibe is awesome and comfortable • The staff is super friendly. Jamie was awesome! • And they have incredible yummy treats for dessert of every kind you can imagine My wife and I Live in bountiful and are definitely going to be coming here regularly. This was our first visit and we were blown away.

Sabrina McPhearson

The desserts used to be better. They also just discontinued the best gluten free dessert in the valley, the Expresso torte. I was very disappointed.

Craig Winkler

Parking here is atrocious, that's why they get 3 stars, the bakery is pretty good but they have the same stuff at Delice on state street and around 2600 s for a little cheaper (the old pastry chef from here opened it up). I have been here many times, and they are open a little later so good for a late night treat while you are in the downtown area. Food is good as well, try the French onion soup.

Peter Batemon

I got the chocolate decadent cake for my wife's birthday. Listen to me: eat small pieces! This cake was so rich that you'll be satisfied after a half slice. This is my new go to for desserts.

Geraldine Pedroza

I love this place, it's so relaxing and the food is great!

Steven Jackson

Delicious. Best French bakery west of the Mississippi. I have only ever had their desserts, but I hear their dinner options are great as well. Typically I order the canoli, or one of their many fruit pastries. They also have really good macaroons. If you are visiting Salt Lake City, Gourmandise is a must.

Taylor Stringam

Absolutely delicious! Anything on the menu is worth ordering, but make sure to save room for dessert. I particularly enjoy the French onion soup, and the quiche de jour is almost always fabulous.

Brenda Hinkle

Such a awesome place, food and dessert is always good. Service is great.

Lara Mountford

Great service and the food is delicious.

Elizabeth Perez

If you're looking to have a small gathering then this place is perfect for it. The vibe is cute and it never got too loud. Delicious and good quality food for a decent price. I had the Trip Tip Steak and it came out to be flavorful. The cheese sauce under it was a little too much. The potatoes had a good sweet kick to it. The only down thing about it was that nobody was attentive to us at the beginning. My guest and I were sitting at our table for over 10 minutes before I had to ask for water. Another 10 minutes later I had to ask the hostess for a waiter. Seemed like no one assigned a waiter to us and nobody cared to ask. This place was also really hot inside so if you go during the day time I suggest you avoid the window area since you'll have more heat from the sun.

Dallin Fairbanks

Gourmandise has a beautiful venue, and you can't help but feel elegant and refined eating there. The food was well prepared and enjoyable, but when I visited, their sandwiches weren't as savory as I would have liked. They were a little heavy on the sweet side of the spectrum for my taste. That being said, dinner and dessert were still both thoroughly enjoyable, and I plan on visiting again soon.

Tausha Turner

The desserts are delicious, the meals are very hit or miss. The steak is definitely not worth the price they charge and it came with some pretty sad looking inconsistently cooked broccoli. The fruit bowl.. not in a bowl and I found a slice of strawberry in my french dip sandwich, the fruit also was really dry like it had been left out in the air all day. Some of their options are really good, but again it is hit or miss. The service is pretty much the same, some servers are there to take care of you, but others ask you how everything is when you've only got water, then don't show up again till you're waiting for the check. If I go back it will be for dessert only.

Tony Wand

Good food and delightful service

Sara Plum

Go for the desserts not the for the dinner. All three meals were bland and over cooked. Our server was great, she did her best to accommodate the issue with the food. But in the end, the desserts saved our pallets!

Allyson Jennings-Johnson

The food is delicious and their selection of treats was amazing! It was very busy when we went on a Saturday afternoon, so seating was difficult for my party of 8 (mostly because we were near a high-traffic aisle and people were bumping our chairs.) But overall, a nice experience!

Grant Rust

I have had numerous business lunches and a couple of breakfast at Gourmandise - Downtown and one lunch at the Draper Location. Fantastic service, food and ambiance for a nice but not formal business meal. I often order a variety of pastries to take to my office and the team absolutely loves everything! Great to have an option like this on both ends of the valley.

Jace Jensen

This bakery is awesome. I love the deserts and the food is excellent that is when they actually have it. My favorite sandwich there, is the French dip. It’s amazing. Yet recently they have made it a week day only lunch sandwich. Everything else is on the menu except this. In the past you could order it any day any time. Yet now you can’t. I don’t understand why you guys would mess with perfection and not have it available at all times. Your menu needs to be revised and rethought to include your best menu items being available during normal business hours. Extremely disappointed. I literally walked out of the restaurant when they didn’t have this on their menu for dinner with my entire party. Just to respond to the owner. We did ask our server and she said that they can’t do that and it’s only a lunch, weekday sandwich. It’s not ‘sweating the small stuff’ it’s with multiple items.

Cade Jackson

My wife loves this place. Great selection and service.

Jacque Warren

Always delicious sandwiches and raspberry tart.

Sharon Robinson

One of my favorites in SLC... wished they were open on Sundays! But always make it one of my stops especially for the bakery PEACH! It is 'to die for', as they say. And just found out that they are both (SLC & Draper) for brunch and drive thru! YEAH!

Brittani Hammer

Great ambiance. It was packed on a Friday night but we were seated quickly. The dessert displays are gorgeous. Packed up dessert to go because we were stuffed after our meal. Disappointed in no fry sauce available. The aioli was good though. The French Onion soup was delicious. The portions we're sizable. All tasted very fresh. Great date night or girls night location.

Someone Sargent

Today I stopped in for two Peaches. It is my son’s birthday and the Peach is his favorite. It was so disappointing to cut into them to discover one was obviously old. Day old? At least, but probably even older. The cream inside was shriveled, the exterior bun was crusty and bottom was so soggy and gross we didn’t eat it. Nothing like paying six dollars for a treat any grocery store wouldn’t have sold.

Melissa Lerner

Great food, great service, and wonderful atmosphere!

Scott Roskelley

Started coming here over 15 years ago. It has continued to impress. Fast service, amazing food, and IMOHO, the best pastries this side of the Mississippi. My only complaint is they stopped making Florentines. I miss those.

Cat Cosby

Everything was so good! The fries had a great flavor. The chips were surprisingly very good! I was expecting a regular chip! But they were more than expected! It was filling and delicious...

MANUEL VARRO

Very good pastries and cakes at a decent price! The food is also good!

Larry Bush

Heaven in our mouths! Every single thing we tried! New favorite treat when visiting Salt Lake area!

Joseph Petramalo

I have been coming here for 10 years. They keep changing their menu and have gotten rid of most of their really good items. Also have changed several of their pasteries and they are eh. Very disappointed in the drop in quality.

Nichole Carmichael

This place is a gem. The savory meals are really good. Their French onion soup is delicious. Of course their pastries are to die for good!

Greg Parson

I’ve dined there several times over the past couple of years. The servers are attentive and prompt. Strangely, I like the entree items better than the bakery items. The entrees are tasty and of good quality. The backers item have great presentation but the flavor just isn’t quite up to par. The cheesecake is a perfect example - looks great but the flavor isn’t as good as a specialty cheesecake should be. Nothing tastes bad, just comes across as generic?

I love all deserts , its hard to decide which one I want

Superb pastries and desserts, great selection, per usual. They seem like they're edging up onto the expensive side (over $5 each, even to go). However, it doesn't seem to be hurting their business, so more power to them.

This place is AMAZING!!!! The food is absolutely incredible and the staff treated me and my husband on our honeymoon like royalty! This review is very long over due, we were there in June 2018 like the very last days of June...the food was incredible, the staff was incredible. Me and my husband are foodies so we’ve been to lots of places and this place is definitely one of the BEST! We love it! And thank you to whoever was June 30th, you are all amazing!!! Keep it up! We appreciate the amazing service and food!!!!!

Thought the peach was going to be delicious. It had an odd flavor. No one in my family of six wanted more than a taste. Cookies were good. Expensive.

Quick, friendly service despite being fairly busy. Coffee was good. I had the croque madame and the bread was freshly baked. The eggs were over medium instead of the traditional easy but the dish was still very well balanced. I'm not a huge fan of potatoes but the vegetable mix had some and was still tasty. I went with a friend who had the croissant sandwich and he enjoyed it. Five star service. Food is great for the price but it won't knock your socks off.

Lovely spot for coffee and dessert. We got the raspberry mouse cake and it was delicious.

So delicious food and perfect design! Awesome cake quality which rarely find elsewhere

liliana padilla

The food super good. And the pastries all of them looks so good! But the service....i saw like 7-8 persons working there and they took sooo long to help us. I think they don't have enough organizations with the employees. At the end for paid the bill same story. We spent more time waiting for them at the beginning and at the end than the time we used to eat there.

Super cute place, I've only ever tried the desserts but they've all been delicious. Try the peach! It's my favorite!

Brinley has the best smile and BEST service. Thank you for always making our experience a positive one! We have such a good time when she is waiting on us.

PhilandEmily Adams

Amazing desserts and extremely good service.

Delicious food, fun atmosphere, great service!!I have some food allergies and the waiter was so careful I will be back!!

Michael Erin Strong

Such a cute, charming SLC staple! I love the pastries. One annoying thing is that their staff doesn't know their products. In spite of having many yummy gluten free things, I've had servers repeatedly say that they don't.

Jennifer Hazeldine

I love all the dessert I've tried so far! I love the eclairs and the tiramisu.

Breanne Sanders

Delicious! Get a group and order a bunch of different pastries so you can share and try them all!

We were just in the restaurant for dessert and were seated there for 20 mins... Inspite of repeated requests, none came to help us. Exasperated, we left. However, a gentleman was kind enough to open the door for us on our way out. That was the silver lining of our dining experience and deserved a star.

Leah Schwemmer

Amazing bakery with some of the most delicious desserts imaginable. Pricey, but worth every penny.

Carlos Galindo

Wonderful place. We found it by accident on a side street. Had the BEST sandwich baked desserts and cappuccino. Superb!

gio guiulfo

Sooo good. I always get the tiramisu because it's my favorite, but everything looks so good. Great staff as well, I never get the sense of attitude from any of the staff, quite the opposite actually.

I pre-ordered a birthday cake for my boyfriend 24 hours in advance, and when I went to pick up the cake the next day, it was frozen and stale. Very disappointing considering the price of the cake. Do not recommend. I’ve been a customer for over 15 years, but the quality has gone down tremendously.

Gourmandise is one of our local favorites. It would be the perfect spot for Sunday Brunch if they were open Sundays! Portions aren’t huge, but the food is high quality. Good wine pairing choices and some of the most delicious desserts around! There can be a wait for a table and while food comes out pretty fast, the service isn’t always as attentive as other sit down places. Otherwise they’re friendly and the food is top notch for quality and presentation.

Jennifer Kitterman

Every dessert I've ever tried is so decadent and delightful!

Chirelle Pearson

Drinks were great! Dessert was great! Dinner was alright. Definitely the go to place for some delicious dessert. Parking was fine. Probably one of the only places downtown with parking! So that's always a plus. Staff was great!

Gus Humphrey

Truely huge cup of coffee, it's exactly what I like to see. Amazing spot for lunch

Cameron Bigler

Amazing food, great atmosphere, wonderful staff, deserts beyond compare and parking that is a complete cluster, but totally worth dealing with anyway.
