REVIEWS OF Eva's Bakery IN Utah

Kristel Sterling

Had the eggs Benedict (which has a French name that I can't recall). It was delicious and the potatoes were seasoned SO well. The service was quick and friendly. Cute atmosphere and I would enjoy coming back here for more of their delicious looking menu.

Cameron Shurtz

Excellent all around. Great location. Clean. Nice staff. The bakery items are great. They have a few things that you can’t find at a lot of French bakeries. The restaurant is great also. Great vibe and atmosphere. Definitely recommend to others.

Ryan Folant

A cautionary tale of phone-in orders... Any pastry aficionado knows that a good bakery sells out by noon, so since I was not able to arrive at Eva’s bakery until 1:30pm I called ahead early that morning to place a phone order for afternoon pickup. They took my name and pastry order and set it aside for me. When I arrived downtown for the sole purpose of picking up my order from Eva’s, I was told it must have accidentally been sold. To my utter dismay, I went home pastry-less.

When you have been talking about a cinnamon roll for days after having it, it’s a amazing cinnamon roll! The chocolate croissant was amazing as well! I wished I lived here just so I could enjoy this place more often!

Blueberries441

This place was good. I got chocolate cake at the end of the day and it was kinda dry. But it was the very end of the day so I guess that’s par for the course. Very friendly staff.

Courtney Reisig

Our first time here and we want to go back already! This place is so delicious! I love that you get a salad with breakfast, get those veggies in. We were so impressed with the delicious croissant breakfast sandwich, potatoes, & side salad. And we also ordered a chocolate croissant to split and it was sooo tasty. The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because my husband ordered a cappuccino and didn't get it until 40 minutes after we ordered and by then we had already finished our meal. The atmosphere was nice and very much like a french pastry shop. Loved the option for outdoor seating as well! Overall, great place to grab a bite.

Rachel Dabb

Eva's is one of my favorite places to stop in for lunch downtown. They have great grab and go options if you're looking for something to take out. They also have a larger menu if you want to sit down for breakfast or lunch. Plus, the bakery items are always delicious.

Daniel Rubiniak

Fantastic food - top level pastries and well balanced dishes. Lovely decoration and very friendly service. I live in NYC and wish we had a place like Eva's bakery here. Highly recommended!

Amber C

Smelled delicious, my friends swear by their coffee. Their staff is amazing and kind. Their bread pudding is divine

Nicholas Velarde

Extremely great food. There breads are amazing. Service is fantastic.

Colten Hoth

They have fantastic pastries

Toni

Cozy place to have a cup of coffee and a quick bite. I loved their pastries and will try their food items next time.

Emily Minor

Gorgeously smooth coffee, delicious buttery baked goods, and one of the best cooked quiches I’ve had.

Joseph Pollard

This place looks amazing from the outside, so I was very excited to try it. I couldn't have been more disappointed. Because I don't dress or look like a hipster, I feel like the staff didn't want to serve me. I would like to say that I was atleast treated with disrespect, but the truth is that I wasn't even acknowledged. Not one thank you or one hello. I would ask questions and get nothing but rude, short and annoyed responses. This place needs to hire employees that will allow it to be the amazing place that it has the potential to be. My tea and pastry would have been wonderful if it weren't served with a side of attitude! If you are in the mood to be ignored and have eyes rolled at you, then Eva's Bakery is the place to go!

Alice Wang

Cute bakery shop right in downtown Salt Lake City with high quality food. A bit pricer than average but the quality and the ambiance justify for the experience. Young and friendly staff. Avocado toast is a must!

Annabel Phillips

The places is so warm, cozy, and chic. They have vegan, dairy free, and gluten free options! Also, a lot of dishes, like the avocado toast, can be made vegan, and the waiters are very knowledgeable about what's in the food. A wonderful bakery with a delicious brunch menu. A bit small and cramped but I think that just adds to its charm. I definitely reccomend!

Steven Price

Enjoyed the bakery; tasty croissant sandwich, pleasant atmosphere in a quaint building. Definitely seemed to be a local favorite!

Nora Dahlberg

Came for brunch on a Saturday and had the eggs Benedict--I swapped the ham for bacon and OMG what a brilliant idea! Everything was absolutely delicious, and yes, we had to wait a while for a table but it was a Saturday afternoon so that's to be expected. The only real complaint I have is that I had a slice of cake from the bakery afterwards and it was very dry...probably due to the fact it was 2pm and the cake was baked and sliced early in the morning but I would suggest to Eva's that they slice the cake upon request instead to prevent it from drying out.

CJ Haas

Absolutely amazing. Fantastic bread, pastries, and coffee that are only topped by the service. I have never had a bad experience here. On the downside, I may have a serious baguette addiction that might require rehab. PS: Abigail and Madeline were particularly helpful today. Thank you!

Clinton Olsen

Stuffed french toast and a cappuccino is the way to go. I would recommend eating a brunch here for sure! It's not the largest location, but the atmosphere is very friendly and comforting. They have all sorts of pastries and entrees to indulge in.

Una Bellow

Great place great baked good

Charissa Mider

If you are looking for Healthy options, please visit this place! Food is great but they need to work on portions. There were days its a big portion and there were days its small. Customer service is great but they mess up a lot. Over all, great experience ❤️

Karen華蓮

I recommend it :) Cute shop with vintage style. They offer staff service (e.g. getting sitted in a table) there is a classic selection of bread and drinks; overall it is affordable. I noticed that most of the costumers are in their mid thirties and over and they seemed very happy. If you come you have to try avocado toast! Overall I felt content with the place but I was not excited.

Beverly Dortch

Ordered srambled eggs with a butter croissant...croissant was delicious as always..eggs were a BIG disappointment sent them back..waitress explained the way the eggs was cooked..I appreciated that.. her service was good and I appreciated her explaining why the eggs were cooked the way they were..hot chocolate was delish

Joseph Massaro

I just got back from Paris less than two weeks ago and based on the reviews I was expecting to be at least somewhat impressed. I wasn’t. The croissants tasted like they were from Costco. The layering was erratic on the top, it was too dense and the Macarons tasted worse that the Private Selection frozen ones you get at Smith’s. Plus we had to go to the counter and get our coffee that had been sitting for several minutes and was lukewarm. Very much not impressed.

Madeline Panti

The pistachio creme puffs are unbelievably good.

Alexandria Wells

It depends on when you go... the first time I went, I had the Potato and Bacon Croque Monsieur + German Chocolate Croissant. Each bite was divine. I went for brunch another time and they barely had anything in the front. Decent service but love that everything is local.

Nicholas Anderson

Amazing croissants! Every single one of them. And the espresso is fantastic! This cafe was one of the highlights of my trip.

Rich Interdonato

Delicious coffee and lunch options. Super friendly service!

Halle Harris

The food is absolutely amazing! Very poor customer service though. The people at the front were very rude.

tessa cantrell

Super cute, and really yummy!

Clifford Newman

Great bakery. 1 dollar baguettes on Mondays

James Keary

Little pricey but great place. Nice service and meal. Everything was fresh and well made. The info and pictures on its site do represent the place accurately. Nothing crazy or innovative in the menu with the focus on fresh and quality which it delivers

Jeremy Barney

Good food, friendly service. Busy, so there was a slight wait, but we got hot chocolate while we waited.

David P

Wonderful start to the day! Positive atmosphere, great food, professional courteous servers.

trinity steffensen

Cute atmosphere, but the coffee was lukewarm and in this kind of place, I would expect to have a saucer under my cup of coffee to lay my spoon on. I had the stuff french toast, the filling was wonderful which help because the outside was a little too over done. Not sure if I would go back.

Keith Malone

First, I NEVER give fives, so giving four stars means a lot to me. I’m accustomed to being disappointed or, mostly underwhelmed. At first, I was, but my perception was quickly erased by helpful staff, good green tea and those evil, evil, evil, gluten-free macaroons. It’s my first visit to Salt Lake City and this is one of several shops that are welcoming and have personalities all their own.

Terri Gioffre

The food was excellent, Stuffed French Toast was delicious. Service is great. Best Macaroons, I can't wait to try the other goodies I got.

Linda Stodola

Nice bakery and you will get more flavors and varieties and pastries were amazing.

Jacqueline Ohayon

Came with my husband on a weekend. The closest thing to actual French food was the macaroons which are so far from the actual pastry that it should have another name. My husband and I spent the last several years in France and he is French. They didn't even have any French breads. This place is a bastardized starbucks that looks like a French bakery on the outside. Would not recommend.

Michael Rodgers

My personal favorite coffee shop on Main Street

Bob fabiano

Great breakfast and pastries.

Joe Pemberton

The stuffed French toast is amazing and they serve breakfast all day.

steve durham

Very Good Croque Madam. Best I've had in this country. The only thing lacking was the service.

Braedon Mccracken

I loved the pastries and their avocado toast is awesome.

Alycia Smith

I have never had a bad experience at Eva's. The pastries are to die for, and everything on the menu for the cafe portion is fantastic. The stuffed French toast is absolutely amazing. When you look at the prices, you may think it's overpriced, but when you see the plates and taste the food you'll see that what you're getting is definitely worth what you're paying. The staff is always friendly, and although there may be a line to be seated, I can guarantee you it's worth the wait.

Josh Masin

The food at Eva's Bakery is delicious! The coffee is good! The place is warm and has an at-home feel to it! However, they use buzz words like "cage-free" and "natural" on their menu, as a subtle way of justifying the higher prices they charge for the smaller portions you get. Otherwise, not too bad.

Liana Hershey-Nexon

If you go here, do not sit near the kitchen. I was there for lunch today and the whole time, the servers were SCREAMING non-stop to the kitchen staff about how behind and incorrect all the orders were. I also had to flag someone down to place an order and had to ask for the check twice. I'm giving two stars instead of one because the decor was cute, I enjoyed my iced mocha, and the food tasted good. However, my dish (a tomato croque sandwich) was supposed to have herbs on it according to the menu, but it didn't. If a server had stopped by to ask me how it was, I might have said something about it, but I mostly just wanted to get out of there asap because of the noise. I left with a huge headache.

T C

If I could give more stars I would! This place has the best food I've had in a long time! Delicious! We had the French dip and French toast. Can't wait to go back next time we are in the area. Unfortunately we live in WA state so not soon enough.

Anna Lucero

Great food, really reminded me of the bakeries in Europe.

Good breakfast pastries look amazing

space girl

First, I'll start with the good...this place always has amazing baked goods. Any time I'm downtown, I like to stop in for a little treat to-go. When I'm down with my son, he always asks to pop in with me for a hot chocolate and one of their incredible pastries. Seriously, I could eat my weight in their morning buns. The bad, their service has always been terrible. I've been popping sporadically for the last couple years, it's the same treatment. The staff is almost always talking to each other while I patiently wait with a smile. I've even had a few openly flirting with each other right in front of me. After a few minutes, they wrap up their chatting AND THEN take my order. Then there's the attitude I receive...how dare I come in to their place of business and want to purchase a pastry from them? I rarely ever get a pleasant staff member who treats me like my purchase matters. I know it's not just me. I just today had a work colleague from out of town order pastries from Eva's for a morning meeting for our office. He said "while the pastries were amazing, the gal helping him was all but happy to help him". I was embarrassed because I feel like Salt Lake City is a friendly place to visit. Had I known better, I would have told him to go elsewhere.

Derek Hurd

Sooooo many great pastries, breads, all made from local organic flour! The coffee us great too. The only reason for a 4 star is because there didn't see to be any urgency in any of the employees. It took 15inutes to get a black iced coffee... Other than that this place is really neat and worth a visit!

Milks Nicte-Ha

Very charming, really good food and desserts. Definately going back next time I'm in the area. A little pricy but the food is so good it was worth it for me.

Gerhard Kast

Nice food, friendly service.

Kerron Mitchell

In true European fashion, this bakery is done correctly! With the best pastries and baguettes in SLC area, the only time to be disappointed is when they've run out of the top items. Delicious breakfast

Petra Kranzfelder

I had one of the best German chocolate croissants in the world here!

Jim Kino

Always great and delicious in spite of the long lines. Well worth it!

Joseph Simonson

The food was delicious! It was pretty packed when we were there (around 9am), but it was worth it. You can order pastries to go from the display case or get a table and order full meals. I had the French Frittata meal and it was awesome, especially the potatoes that come with it.

K G

The croissants are amazing. The decor is very nice and welcoming. The coffee was fantastic and the chai latte was amazing. show up early or all of the good pastries will be gone, you will definitely be back. Parking is downtown so it might take you a moment to find a spot. I would recommend this establishment to a friend.

Michael Chang

Came here on Memorial Day. I was a bit worried about the wait since I could already see a long line through the front door window, but the staff was fast and we were seated within 10 minutes of arrival. The place is extremely small so I do not recommend dining in with a large party. Our table was literally inches apart from other guests...so close in fact that we had to move the table to the left or right just to let people squeeze through. That was a bit disappointing as it doesn't make dining a comfortable experience. My wife ordered the avocado toast with beets and I opted for the french toast. The avocado toast and beets were pretty good. Wish I could say the same for my french toast. It was completely drowned in a blueberry sauce and made the entire meal soggy. All in all, this place was just average and not worth the hype by other reviewers.

Joshua Parsons

The stuffed French toast was very good. Prices were average for a downtown spot. Service was excellent. I'd recommend stopping by for a coffee or treat. The salads looked good, but I did not try one.

Haley Mackenzie

Cute atmosphere (felt like a hole in the wall in Paris), decent food, very thoughtful customer service. Ordered the French frittata which was filling but not my favorite. Not crazy about the breakfast potatoes either; thin and inconsistent texture with little flavor. Husband ordered the stuffed French toast which he enjoyed but wasn't crazy about the pile of soggy blueberries on top. Our food was delayed or forgotten and took forever to come out so the waitress comped our drinks to make up for it which was wonderful, and the mocha was excellent! Was hoping for more gluten free options. Glad we went but probably would go back again.

Katelyn Emerson

Absolutely spectacular croissants (huge ones!) and excellent coffee. Well worth a stop!

Vickie Hall

Fresh ingredients and great customer service

Sasha Hacon

I came here during a break in the school day, and I was wowed by the restaurant, the service, and the food. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the beautiful, cozy feeling of the restaurant. Promptly, a waitress approached me and my friends, and offered to us to dine in. She was extremely helpful, and the food was amazing. (Recommend the stuffed french toast and the eggs Benedict)

Fallon Price

Delicious food, but operations seem chaotic. Popular - so busy - and there are few places to sit or stand while waiting without being in the way. Customer service is as expected for busy DT brunch spot.

Carla Hutchinson

Charming atmosphere, yummy food and friendly service.

Ash Tilden

I was so excited to come across this place, and all my friends were just as happy with their experience here as I was. The food was fantastic and the coffee stupendous. I had a mocha and the garden benedict, but I was also able to try the avocado toast and quiche; all of it was great. We took pastries to go as well, and I spent WAY too much here just cause I wanted it all!

Kayla Silvey

The pastry selection is wonderful! Lots of complex craftsmanship for a variety of the pastries, but always executed well.

Ariel Davis

My favorite place in Salt Lake, definitely recommend to anyone looking for a piece of Paris ❤️

Jacob Stoof

Didnt have wbat we needed

Erin Olschewski

Although it can be challenging trying to get a table at Eva's, that's part of what adds to their allure. Their quaint, cozy space is truly unique. Everything I've ordered, whether sitting down or grabbing a pastry to go, has been absolutely delicious. Notably, their Kouign Amann are so flaky and moist and some of the best I've ever had. I also dream about their stuffed french toast -- truly decadent. Plus don't forget to order a latte, they serve them in large mugs that add to the cozy vibe.

Dale Green

We went for my daughter's birthday. The servers were friendly, and attentive. The bread was really tasty, and the food was good. It's meant to be "small plate" so don't expect large portions, but the food is well made and delicious. My wife had the French onion soup, which she really liked. My pastrami sandwich tasted great. Would definitely recommend Eva's.

Lisa Dunton

All out of several pastries and forgot half of the food for our table. But the food was great when we finally got it.

D Buck

Food is delicious, atmosphere is reminiscint of a café in France and prices are reasonable - especially for the food at the counter.

Jason Brain

Just moved here from Boston where my frame of croissant-reference is Cafe Madeleine. A hard standard to surpass, but I think Eva's Bakery makes the best croissant I've ever had.

Andre Garber

Try the coissant sandwich. It's hearty and flaky. Get here early in the day for a decent selection of baked goods. The service for dining in was fine, but not particularly friendly.

Betty Jackson

Love this place. They have a wide variety of unique desserts from around the world. Always something new to try. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. I always make time to stop by when visiting the area. The desserts are absolutely beautiful as well as tasty. I really love this place.

ohmyheck31

Amazing baked goods!

Sijia Zhang

Most of the pastries are pretty good, but I'm very disappointed with the careless service. I came in today with my BF at 3PM or so to buy some pastries, including some day old discounted pastries ( I know that they were discounted because they're wrapped in plastic wrap and I was charged the correct discounted price for one of the pastries when I went in 30 minutes prior). Imagine my surprise when I look at the receipt a few hours later and realize they charged full price for all the discounted pastries (the full 2.75 for a canele instead of the $1 or so it should have cost and the full 3$ for the corn cake). Good pastries but the lady working at the counter today really needs to start being more careful. We even mentioned it was the discounted pastries when we handed it to her, assuming she'd know to charge us the right price. That's what I get for trusting them instead of checking the receipt immediately after I guess!

Katie Reid

Absolutely the best French toast in the whole world!

Dalton Janssen

The quiche is incredible! Light crust and full of flavor! Comes with herb potatoes and little spring salad. Always fast service and the ready to eat stuff is great too. Strongly recommend!

Maureen Flanagan

Great food and drinks

Hassan Youssef

One of the view places that serves an amazing tasty French toast in salt lake

Mark Mackinnon

Please sit outside. Great Cafe with a little French flair. Tasty food and good coffee

Amber Bateman

Bought a piece of chocolate cake which was very dry & not tasty. Also bought a piece of lemon pound cake which was dry gritty & the frosting was unremarkable. Some of the worst bakery items I've ever had.

Chris Hildebrand

What a cool restaurant and bakery!

Dawn Beagley

Went for breakfast this morning. The food was mostly good but the server was smug. He forgot my coffee and it took me several attempts to get his attention. It was very busy, but he walked by our table empty handed a lot. When he finally brought it out he forgot the cream that he asked if I wanted when I ordered it. I was able to grab another staff to get it for me. Then he forgot my niece's hot chocolate and when she asked about it he said with an annoyed tone "sorry the barista is behind" but then brought it right over. It was busy and we were a party of 6. All the food was good besides the stuffed French toast, which was really burnt on the edges. The server never checked in with us after our food was served, but the same one who got my cream asked if I needed another coffee. It is a cute place, and the majority of the staff seemed nice, but our server seemed irritated and unapproachable. I don't know that I'd go back.

Vlada Edwards

Came in for breakfast this morning, there is a sign "wait to be seated", so I waited for over 10 minutes. The server is running around, not once making an eye contact to acknowledge my wait. A person before me left 5 minutes into my wait. I left as well and won't be back. Hire more people and train your servers to acknowledge people and let them know they will be right back.

Laura Gerlach

Vegan plate is amazing. Cute spot!

Michelle Smith

Lemon tart was disappointing. Crust was hard and burnt tasting. The lemon filling was delicious.

L Hammer

Had a great sandwich. Quiet place with a very friendly staff.

Sam Mattingly

The service isn't my favorite, but the foods always worth it.

Ilya Oyzerskiy

Great brunch and delicious coffee. Definitely coming back to get more french toast

Taylor Jacobsen

What a splendid place! The atmosphere, the food, and the service are spectacular. A great place to get a tasty bite and some great Ibis coffee. Great vegan or vegetarian options, and the meats and eggs are top tier as well. I love the brunch quiche with ham and potatoes. Weekend brunches are busy, but it's a short wait for such good quality. If you're flexible, you might be able to ask for the counter, even, and skip the wait.

Thomas Schwarz

Went there for breakfast with the family while visiting, the food was terrific, the service was terrific, the place was clean as a whistle. I can't wait to go back!

preston liebelt

Your lemon tart changed my life. Thank you.

Richard Blanchard

Great food

schjoeke S.

During my hols in SLC last week and being from Belgium I couldn't resist this bakery. The outside of the bakery reminded me slightly of a "French" one. Tried out some pastries and yummy, they were good! Regular croissant and a chocolate one were delicious. Certainly not to be missed when being in Downtown SLC!

Sarah Bartol

Wish I could say I tried a pastry but we stood at the counter for almost 10 minutes waiting to order while the staff ignored us and chatted amongst themselves, there were no other people waiting to order or for their orders to be filled either. I guess taking orders is a major inconvenience?

Randa Wharton

Great place to get a bite to eat. Yummy food.

Taylor Stringam

This is a wonderful Salt Lake gem. Brunch is delicious (and reasonably priced as well). I had the French dip sandwich and it was delicious. You can also just order coffee and a pastry up front if you aren’t a fan of waiting for brunch. Either way, the food is delicious and the coffee is fabulous. The service here is also fast a friendly. This place is definitely worth a visit.

Clo

Very good quiche and croissant.

Bailey Hall

Amazing pastries and drinks! Great environment and employees. Eva's is awesome!

Adriana Van Vliet

One of my very favorite places in salt lake for lunch! Everything on the menu is amazing! Yummy French food and pastries, delicious coffee, very charming atmosphere.

K Mitchell

Fabulous bakery with wonderful meals. We stopped in for breakfast & pastries. Old world artisan breads & pastries of extremely high quality. Absolutely worth a visit.

Parker Neff

Food is absolutely amazing. I have never had trouble with the service either. I totally recommend this place to friends and family.

Ivana Notyers

Wow. The real deal. Try the Queen-a-man (that’s how you pronounce it).

Jodi Jacobs

Best cinnamon roll I've ever tasted! Such a treat!

William Anderson

I haven’t had the food here really but the bakery items are hands down the best I’ve had downtown. I love their brownies — they definitely have that “homemade” taste to them, their cinnamon rolls are to die for, and they have a great selection of macaroons. If you are having cravings for something sweet, I high recommend checking Eva’s out.

Jessica Palmer

We came in on a busy Saturday, a party of 7, and waited over an hour for a table. My husband and I were certainly frustrated at the beginning of the meal, until we were completely won over by the exceptional staff, apologetic for the wait and took our food orders instantly while also bringing us some delicious homemade bread to snack on. They only have one big table so seating larger parties is hard, now we know. We were all really happy with our food (the stuffed french toast is a must!) and would happily wait an hour again. Thank you Quest for the great service!

Firefly Supernatural

* Has a great French feel to it. * Been here a couple times, food menu is very tasty. * Staff is friendly and attentive * Saturday parking downtown is free - Places to sit (depending of # of ppl) can be a bit snug - Depending on when you go, waiting times can vary from 15-25 min.

Michelle E. Lange

Amazing food and service. Love the European feel. It's a fantastic place to eat

Steven Gelb

This is a four rating behind some of the best bakeries in the world. I'd still drive 40 miles to eat baked goods here. One of their baked rolls, perhaps cinnamon, was a five, but the rest were solid 4, which on my scale is very very good. I'm not comparing to Utah, but to SF, LA, NYC, Paris. We also sat and had a breakfast egg choices that all 3 of us enjoyed. But I'm rating the place primarily on their baked goods. The breads were a 3 though. Perhaps best in UT, but still a 3.

michelle thompson

DEFINITELY going back. Tristan was fantastic. All the employees were very nice and patient with my first visit. Brought home some treats for dessert

Victor Hernandez

Try the egg Benedict's! Great atmosphere and very attractive decoration. Service can be slow so don't go in a hurry.

Wayne Wallace

Cute place, excellent coffee and tea. We had the best lemon tart.

Jess

Delicious! We recently moved and miss the close walk from home. We can't stop bragging about the amazing brunch. Will be sure to bring friends and family by any time we get the chance!

Gregory Ley

Delicious stuffed French toast and a veggie eggs Benedict! Nice folks there even during the Sunday brunch rush. If you are bothered by places where the seats/tables are very close to each other, you might want to go at a less busy time. Worth it either way.

Daniel DiOrio

Expensive but the best chicken pesto sandwich I have ever had.

Sadie Gray

Delicious food I recommend the chocolate croissant

ian pardo

Very good pastries and a regular coffee. The environment and service are excellent..

Tercia Jarvis

Service is great and food is delicious. Sometimes there's a wait but it's worth it.

Nicki Terry Heitz

Eva's Bakery was busy but the service was good and the food was delicious

Elna Shelley

Hostess was rude and water served warm. Bread was excellent.

It's Monet

Cute little bakery! We loved it. The lemon mirage pie was delicious!

Ron Larsen

Good food. Relaxed atmosphere. Decent prices

Christopher Takashima

The chocolate croissants were delicious and tasted just like the ones I had in Paris.

David Fox

We love this place! Wonderful pastries, coffee, and food. Food and service is always excellent and consistent, and prices are good. Cute, quaint, and well done interior, Eva's is loved by a wide range of people. This is the kind of place SLC needs more of! Highly recommended.

Kelsie Mecham

My husband and I love Eva’s but they seriously need to get some new to go coffee cups. We stopped by on our way out for a long road trip for some coffee and it turned into a disaster. The lid would not stay on the cup. After about an hour of fighting with this coffee cup, we decided to just pull off the free way and throw the entire coffee out. We were both covered in spilt coffee, not to mention the coffee all over my car. The frustration and mess is not worth it. Definitely don’t recommend getting their coffee to go.

Randi Moore

Everything I've tried pretty amazing here. The quiche is divine and the Benedict is amazing. Sometimes service can be a tinsy bit slow but the waiters are always courteous. Also, I haven't seen these very often but if you have the chance to get a plum tart, do it. It is soooooo good. Wish I saw it more often.

Alyssa Farrar

Amazing breakfast/brunch options. Sweet and savory. our one complaint was the mimosas. We chose not to finish them

M Gallegos

Best French toast in the valley and the chai latte is fantastic, made with in-house brewed tea!

Des Lownds

I love this place, their pastries are excellent, the coffee is a tasty dark roast.

Gonzalo Reyna

Very clean restrooms and great service.

V Escobar

Food tasted fresh. Bread was amazing. The wait time for a Saturday was over an hour which seemed pretty high but there isn’t a lot of seating as it’s a small location. The waitress forgot part of our order, maybe next time we will just order out since the wait and service was the only thing we did not like.

Derrick Tornow

RBF! The pastries are so-so. The cashier was so smug. A smile and a hi or a thank you can go a long ways.

Taylor Anderson

The food is good, but expect very slow service.

Anita Sharp

Eva's Bakery is a charming French-style Boulangerie in Downtown Salt Lake City. They offer a small bistro style menu for dining in, and there is a large variety of freshly made French pastries to enjoy there or to go. There's a limited amount of seating indoors-ask to be put on the waiting list for a table, or you can sit out on the sidewalk and dine alfresco! The food was cooked perfectly-our Quiche Lorraine was amazing, and the eggs Benedict was outstanding! Be aware that if you order water it is served at room temperature! This is a wonderful little restaurant and well worth a visit!

Gardner Jermaine

Amazing

Ranna Seah

It is truly...the best breakfast place in Salt Lake City. But I am open for suggestion. Please let me know if you know where else is as good as Eva. Limited seating unfortunately...thank God we went early on a Saturday morning.

Albert Aranda

My wife and I found the food and the venue "Fabulous!" It's fun to discover places like Eva's whenever we return to Salt Lake.

Heath Bowers

Perfect little place to relax with a great atmosphere. Very friendly service. Good coffee and tasty pastries. I’d recommend the raspberry macaroons! I’m not typically a mocha fan but with their house chocolate added in it I’ll likely order it again.

Lindsay Orozco

Amazing vibe and food!

Alisse Cassell

Good service, great food!

This is such a cute little cafe with the atmosphere of a casual coffee shop from Europe. Try the croissants, they're delicious! Don't believe me, ask the dishes!

Seemed great! But... saw the prices and left soon after.

Such a sweet little place! The coffee and eclairs were excellent. I loved the classy feel, very shabby chic!

This place looks like it could be a movie set! The employees were super helpful in selecting the best breakfast. The food is so amazing that words don't suffice. Go there and eat and you'll understand. I recommend the German chocolate croissant or the cheese and ham. Worth the trip to Salt Lake just for this place.

I’m told the food is good. I wouldn’t know. After taking our order and giving us our drinks, we were ignored by everyone (including our waitress) for the next 40 minutes. After finally waving down a different waitress who noticed we’d been there a while, we were informed that our order was “lost”. Ok, I get that mistakes happen, but did our waitress who walked past us at least a dozen times really not notice that something was not right? I have great respect for those waiting tables. They put up with a lot and I’m always generous in my tips, but come on. Spend a little time training your staff. Seems I’ll never know if the stuffed French toast I ordered is any good.

Seemes understaffed... Service was slow... But cappuccino and baked goods were tasty...

What better place to get brunch. Take a cute pic, meet up and catch up with the girls. All the while enjoying such delicious food. Their french toast is to die for. I order it every time I go. My work is close by and I like to stop by for a quick pastry.

Cute French inspired bakery/coffee shop. Music was a little loud but the drip coffee was excellent and service was fast.

Eva's Bakery has to-go bakery items in addition to the sit down part of their restaurant. The menu has lots of yummy comfort food items and they serve breakfast all day. The boulange potatoes are to die for! The food definitely deserves 5 stars, but I gave Eva's four stars because the service is a little under par. The staff isn't super friendly and they don't explain the restaurant very well. For example, when you come in the restaurant the staff doesn't ask if you want to do take away pastries or a sit down meal. Lots of first timers end up standing around not knowing what to do. Also, even though it's a sit down restaurant you're supposed to pay at the register. The first time I went here I waited for a long time for them to bring me the check because they didn't tell me that I needed to pay at the register.

Everything I've had at Eva's has been absolutely delicious! Both from the breakfast/lunch menu and then their pastries. But the coconut macaroons are TO DIE FOR! No trip to Eva's would be complete without them.
