We’ve come to Beaumont several times, and knew the service is slow, but today may have been the day we don’t come back again, even though we adore their food! We were sitting for one hour before being acknowledged at all, and that was the hostess getting us water, after one hour! I complained very nicely and didn’t get an apology at all; however, it did get someone to our table. We asked to order everything all at once, and the waiter tried to impress by not writing everything down. Because of this, we were missing many items, and got different meals than we ordered, but didn’t want to wait another hour so we didn’t speak up and just ate what we got. Also, 4 tables came in after us and ate and left before we got water! We were there with two small children who were very frustrated having to be there so long without food or drink. We had to go to the to-go counter to buy cookies just to curb some hunger, again, before being served even water. Once our food was ready, it sat on the counter for quite a while and we saw waiters standing around it talking and laughing. I love supporting small businesses, and love the food, but this is completely unacceptable and would have been more sympathetic if they’d been friendly and apologetic for the delay in service. Super disappointed :(

Megan Schwien

It took exactly 20 min for a simple to-go order for one person. There were 8 people working and no one in front of me in line. Big bummer.

Liesl Petersen

A surprisingly delicious and classy little lunch venue in an unassuming neighborhood. Great staff, feel-good food!

Kevin Hutchison

The food was good, but the service was terrible. We had to find out own menus. All of the waitresses kept saying it was someone else's table and it took a long time just to get coffee.

I visited this cafe/bakery back in March while visiting my 10th grade best friend and I couldn't remember the name of it to save my life. Thankfully I was able to check my timeline on google lmao. Anyway, this bakery was awesome and we really enjoyed our visit. We tried these awesome little raspberry/chocolate treats. Super yummy. Definitely will visit again whenever I have the chance to come to SLC again

This place is the best! Amazing croissants and baked goods. The coffee and breakfast is awesome too, and the service and staff are top notch.

Elizabeth Carter

Loved the açaí bowl and veggie sandwich. Really great food and atmosphere.

Service was slow, but I think it was due to the kitchen moving like molasses. We ordered 5 sandwiches right after we got our waters, 4 of which had fries and the last had a salad. It took 20 minutes to get the first 2 of 5 sandwiches only one of those had the fries they were accompanied by. Another 5 minutes for the third sandwich which arrived with 2 fries, but not the salad it came with. The fourth sandwich arrived about 5 minutes later with the previous’ salad and an order of fries. The 5th sandwich came out 5 minutes later and waited another 5 for fries. There were 3 adults and 2 kids. How/why did it take so long? The server apologized a couple of times, but never alerted the manager on duty to stop by the table for an explanation. The only saving grace was the tuna sandwich with jalapeño cheddar bread and the tasty croissant loaf bread for a sandwich. Overall a 3/5 for the food flavor.

This bakery is an improvement on the previous (short lived) establishment that was here. The pastries are really great, and worth stopping by for. The menu items are also really good, but do suffer from a consistency issue, and that is a common issue. My wife and I have been frequenting Beaumont several times a week since it opened, and definitely have some favorites, but we do have a few points of frustration. The Beaumont Burrito is filling and delicious, and I love the fresh flavor added by corn, roasted red peppers, and avocado. It's served with a house sauce on the side, which is a slightly lime flavored sour cream and tomatillo(?) sort of drizzle. To be honest, it's really bland, sort of on the right track but needing a whole lot more roasted jalepenos or something. The Breakfast sandwiches are consistently good, and the acai bowl is a big portion with great ingredients. We really like their coffee, especially the Spicy Chai Tea, made a Dirty Chai with an added double shot. Unfortunately, it's been super inconsistent in both final product and price. After long waits at the drive through, I've been charged several different prices, had the espresso left out (multiple times), and last week I got home to find that my wife's drink was something entirely different than what I had ordered. I really want them to succeed, and feel they have great product potential. This spot needs a good, consistent and unique coffee joint. If they can address a few issues, I think they will. Hopefully starting with having salt, pepper, hot sauce, and napkins available; as well as perhaps some adult supervision for the young staff's inconsistency issues.

Best BLT i've ever had! Their baked goods are really amazing and delicious.

The food is consistently good, but the service is consistently slow. Caution: don't use the drive through if you are in a hurry!

Steven Straw

Warm upscale atmosphere.

Antoinette Jones

Ridiculously slow service, do not use the drive through if you are in a hurry.

Angela Dumke

I love this place. Dinner is especially good because the crowds are gone! Delicious!

Courtney N

Their pasteries and baked goods are phenomenal. They take a fresh perspective and provide gourmet pasteries without the cost. They are still on the pricier spectrum for their pasteries but it is because they are flaky and delicious. They also provide breakfast like avocado toast and a delicious breakfast burrito. I can’t wait to see what they come up in the future! They would get five stars but they need to improve their online presence with a menu and phone number so customers can call in and check in on their daily specials (get the white chocolate coconut croissant! To die for!!! Couldn’t take a picture because I ate it too quickly). This place is also clean and fairly quiet too so it’s a great place to go in and relax with a cup of coffee and a pastry to get your day started.

Despite the slow service and disorganization, I still have to give this classy joint a five

Michelle Martinez

I love the food here, but I am always a little frustrated because my order is incorrect honestly 90% of the time, and the prices seem to vary. I order the same type of coffee each time, and the price for it varies over a range of a dollar. This morning, two elements of my coffee were off (cream and sugar parts, there was coffee, which was the only part that was correct), I ordered food, which she repeated back to me during ordering, but had forgotten about by the time I got to the window. Once I ordered a tuna sandwich, and got a turkey sandwich. Once I ordered avocado toast without the cheese, and it came with cheese, etc. etc. The other thing is, they rarely offer to fix it. Usually I just get, "oh..sorry...." I keep hoping they'll work out the kinks since we've been trying to come since their soft opening, but it seems to get worse and worse. It would be one thing if it were cheap, but it's also fairly expensive. The people that work there are all very nice though!

Heatehr Dourado

$5 grilled cheese. Nasty and burned! I have a picture but it won’t let me post it

Amy Lund

We have been to the bakery two times. The first was for dinner and everything was sold out. We left with out ordering. Today we tried lunch. It was terrible! After waiting 25 minutes with out our lunch I asked the worker. They had forgotten about us. It took 20 more minutes to get a grilled cheese and soup? The two children with us where restless and grumpy by the time we finally got our lunch! WE WOULD HAVE LEFT HAD WE NOT PAID ALREADY! We Left very unsatisfied! Don’t go! Expensive and frustrating!

Alex Estrada

I live in the neighborhood and have been coming here multiples times a month since it opened. At first, I was very forgiving of service issues because it’s a new place. But after consistent service issues it’s clear they have not figured it out yet. From extremely long drive thru times (45min ++ on multiple occasions) to forgetting items altogether... it’s just a huge bummer. I want this place to succeed and the food is decently good, but hopefully their service starts to turn around soon.

Burger was raw and got me sick

Shantae Maddocks

Absolutely amazing. My husband and I thought it looked like a nice place so we stopped to eat. I tried to substitute the tuna for turkey but wasnt able to. So happy that I couldn't. They know what they are doing. Best sandwich of my life. Service was fantastic as well. Worth every single penny. Will definitely be going back. 10/10

Best French toast EVER! The staff was very, very friendly, accommodating and professional. The restaurant has a gorgeous view of the mountains. Barista coffees and fresh pastries available. Would highly recommend.

Valeria Sagers

The best chocolate mocha cookies in the world!!!! Everything is delicious!

The food, ambiance and, especially the staff are amazing at this lovely little spot. The presentation of the food is a visual delight and delicious. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Not overly expensive, not exactly priced low either. Would give $$ out of $$$. Our experience featured high quality food, very present customer service, and a zoo exhibit like glass wall to look straight into the kitchen to see the uncomfortable being watched looking pastry chefs diligently working. Can strongly recommend the burrito, croissant, and coffee; they really set the bar with the burrito, would give

Food was delicious! Service was extremely slow.

Adam Canton

Have been three times. Love this place. Simple and good food. Other reviewers have referenced the slowness of service but have failed to acknowledge that the formal opening has not yet occurred (soft opening only). I’ll keep supporting this great local restaurant!

Sammie Skipper

Jewel was an exceltent server for my family last Friday morning. Very attentive and fun to interact with. I also highly recommend the French toast, so yummy!

Jacob Dahlgren

The turkey sandwich I had was flavorless, small and overpriced. It's like they needed some more items to fill a menu and guessed at what turkey sandwich should taste like with out even caring enough to make a good one.

Wendy Smedley

Super delicious pastries and brunch.

Michele McLaughlin

This place has really delicious food, but the service is severely lacking. They're slow, inattentive, and dismissive when you bring it to their attention. We ate there today, we sat there for 15 minutes waiting for our server to come to our table, and finally had to walk up to the front desk to ask if anyone was going to serve our table before someone actually came over to our table. No apologies, no attempt to make it right, just a "What can I get you to drink other than water?" We ordered a coke and a coffee, and it took another 10 minutes before we received our drinks, and another 5 minutes before they brought cream and sugar for the coffee, and the water we had originally asked for. In fact, they never brought the water, my boyfriend had to walk up to the front desk again and ask for a glass of water, which he brought back to the table himself. The food came to our table in two separate phases, I received my sandwich 10 minutes before my boyfriend received his burger. At no point did anyone apologize for the service, or try and make us feel welcome. Based on this awful experience, we won't be going back.

Jennifer Wiegand

Went to the drive through today to order two sandwiches. The slowest service ever. We literally waited for 30 minutes while watching their staff mess around even after going inside to say something. Extremely frustrating and will not be returning.

Brad Hatch

Erin Olson

The food is great but overpriced. The customer service is the worst. VERY slow service and some strange nasty looks. I’m confused. Too bad.

Ron Steed

The coffee was tasty but the service was erratic. The food came out for each member of my group at different times and cokes and coffees were hard to get a refill on. Some of the food was tasty but for example the fries were not fully cooked. A pretty random experience overall. Good luck!

Kevin Wilson

Rebecca Chesser

The food is good but unfortunately the service is extremely slow! I was hoping they would would get the swing of things but after a year of going there nothing has changed. I live in the neighborhood and never stop by anymore;/

Jessica Winkler

We visited at 2 pm and they still had fresh options coming out. We took home a croissant muffin, a pistachio croissant, a ham & cheese croissant and cookies. Husband said the ham & cheese was okay, the ham was a bit soggy. My pistachio croissant was amazing, I've only ever had croissants with chocolate and this one was filled generously with a pistachio pastry cream. Delicious!

Marco Llona

buaaajajaja cry for something is no longer worth it!

Rachel P

The Turkey sandwich today was divine! I can't remember that last time I enjoyed a sandwich so much.

Jen S

I really enjoyed the place that was here previously (Round) so I was disappointed when they left, but I was happy to see that a similar type restaurant took it's place. I've been several times because I really want to like it. The turkey sandwich is extremely dry and I've tried it on several different occasions. The coffee is extremely bitter and tasted burned (we were told that it's specialty coffee and it's supposed to taste like that. Um, okay). They just added a BLT to their menu, the bacon was delicious but the bread to ingredient ratio is way off. It was a run of the mill BLT on sourdough. The sourdough was delicious though. Their breakfast burrito is actually really good, however, depending on who is making it, you may get the ingredients fairly dispersed throughout the burrito or each bite may contain only one ingredient. The first time I had it I thought it was just egg and cheese but 3/4 way through I got a surprise ending of several bites of peppers and avocado. What type of chef doesn't mix their burrito ingredients before folding? I have not tried any of their pastries, so perhaps that is where I'm missing out. Their sandwiches are severely disappointing and overpriced.

Beaumont is quickly becoming my favorite breakfast jaunt. Great coffee, even better food! I’ve tried the French toast, breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich, oatmeal, and pain au chocolate and every one is incredible. My wife is a travel agent, so we’ve been lucky enough to dine at Michelin star restaurants in 5-star hotels in Paris and those pastries don’t have anything on this place - seriously!

Jake Danielson

Heidi Hultquist

Hands down the very best avocado toast I have ever had!!

Colleen Nelson

Fantastic Food, and delicious coffee. We went today when it was cool and rainy, and were there for the breakfast crowd, had the breakfast burrito and the grain bowl......amazingly fantastic. They were short on staff and I felt bad for the woman who was covering the entire, busy cafe. She was amazing. I highly recommend the place, and the pasteries look delightful.

Douglas Bagley

Loved every bite. Best bakery this side of Paris.

Brian Maness

A great place to grab coffee and a small bite.

Molly Sparks

The most amazing food and pastries.

Megan Ulfich

Bread Pilgrim

Customer service, though maybe a little forgetful sometimes, was friendly. The coffee is quality, Id personally recommend the iced chai. The “Queen Aman” pastry is flaky buttery perfection and I’m excited for the new fruit tarts they’re trying out. I really hope this place sticks around!

Chris Duncan

There is this thing called a CRUFFIN. It's an alchemy of flakey crossaint wrapped around a creamy strawberry mascarpone in a tall muffin shape. Everything else was also delicious!

Stephen Regginello

Oh the French toast! First visit from out of town.

Chandler Whipple

This place just opened a few months ago. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I got the veggie sandwich and it was great. The fresh bread they used was amazing. It would be cool to see some vegan offerings in the future.

Emily Voorhes

Perfect place for a foodie! Delish!

Christian Morrison

Love this place.

Sally Harvey

Hey Owner~ get back involved with your staff!!! I have been here at least 5 times and keep coming back trying to overlook the VERY slow and not so Friendly service because the food is so good. I would love to see you thrive, please Owner do some more staff training...

Kjerstie O

I was a little worried about eating here after all the reviews about slow service, but I went for Friday brunch and the food and service were amazing!! Loved the morning bun and avocado toast. Will definitely be back before my trip is over!

Gwyn McNeal

5 star food combined with 1 star service. Please please please fix the service here because your food is amazing. Or at least give people a quick serve option so if you don’t want to have to sit and get frustrated with the service you don’t have to.

Aubre Gamblin

Igor Areinamo

One of the best places in town for sure. Loved their Nutella croissants!

Toya Denice Mann

Great food and service. Can get really busy in the morning and afternoon.

Sydney King

Delicious french inspired food! Eating here everyday!

MC M

Bakery very good, sandwiches not so good. Ingredients right, just sort of”put together” - not warm like it should be, etc

Anderson Strong

AMAZING FOOD, but part of a good restaurant experience is the service, we LITERALLY had to walk back to the server area to get help. 10 stars for food 2 for service.

Melanie Topham

Friendly service. I usually do take-out of their pastries and cookies (the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie is unbeatable), but staying to enjoy a burger and fries is great, too.

Christian Johnson

Hands down the worst service I have received, which is too bad because the food is great. Both times I have been is on a Sunday separated by 4 months. Both times we received free pastries to make up for the poor service. On this last visit we waited over 5 minutes for water. After we were able to get a server to take a drink order it took over 10 mins to get a coffee and an iced tea. The sandwich I ordered came with a side salad however the salad was never delivered. Everytime our server arrived at the table the first word out of his mouth was "sorry". After observing the wait staff while we were there it was clear they were more focused on themselves then working.

trajan benson

We talked outside on patio for an hour. Our sweet waitress checked every 15-20 mins one awesome lunch

Lary Evens

This place is horrible, Bread is so hard even Moses couldn't part it! The service was slow and rude. Did I say the restaurant was so stinky?

Judge Leverich

Good sandwiches. Still hard to beat the views from this locations patio. Hopefully they are around longer than the previous tenants.

Katie Young

This place is amazing. Everything I have tried is good. For breakfast get the truffle bun. For lunch get the pea soup and the best ham and cheese croissant in town... The sandwiches are also excellent and don't forget a peanut butter chocolate oatmeal cookie. In the words of my 4yo: "The best cookie ever is this cookie." We are so lucky to have such an excellent bakery out here in the burbs.

Cynthia Dobbs

Great food! Would highly recommend.

Joe Callahan

Drive thru was super fast, employee at window was very pleasant, and sandwich was good.

Finn Mcghie

This place is a joke. Went in on a weekday (mid day). I had a half hour to kill before an appointment. I asked for an iced coffee and was told that I could not sit at the counter because all seats are full service. This place had 2 people sitting at a table and the rest of the dinning room empty... Wow customer service? I should have looked at more of the reviews guessing customer service has been an ongoing issue. It's to bad because I live in the neighborhood and would like a new coffee spot.

Jaimee Hansen

Food was great! I think they forgot about my order but they eventually figured it out when they asked me what my order was. UPDATE: this is the second time I had an issue with my order. I asked for half and half. They got most of my drink right and it tastes great (16 oz. Iced Shot in dark w/ half and half) but they forgot the half and half. It still tastes really good so I didnt complain or try to exchange it but I'm gonna take this down to 3 stars till they fix the intercom or train the employees to listen better (I'm pretty sure it's the intercom though) also this place is super overpriced. A 16 oz. shot in the dark at other places is usually 2.75 and it was 4.04 here. Thank you for listening to my first world problems

Second time I'm here. First time I was here it wasn't the greatest experience. When I get my order wrong after I left the drive-thru I had to go back and they had a remake everything. So The second time I've been waiting 35 minutes minutes after waiting for food and a drink in the drive-thru. Remade my drink 2 times. I'm writing this review as I'm waiting. The food is okay. Carmel macchiato that I ordered tasted like coffee grounds. I ordered a caramel macchiato a breakfast burrito and a side order of bacon. I had a repeat that I wanted the bacon on the side and multiple times. It was for my dog. They couldn't hear me in the drive-thru my car is silent. I had a scream into the microphone. but my overall experience I definitely will never come back to this place again. The two girls work in window dumb as a box of rocks.

Kevin Syyong

I had been here before to have some pastries for takeout. The French cruller and Kouign Amann are excellent. But today, I was there with the family for an early breakfast. Everything here was on point. The atmosphere was clean, polished, and relaxed. The staff attentive, friendly, and kind. We ordered a tuna sandwich with fries, artichoke soup, and a truffle bun. The jalapeno and cheese bread that they use for the tuna sandwich is a nice touch. Their fries are amazing. Good fry sauce too. The artichoke soup was flavorful, and creamy. They use Campos beans for their coffee, which was very good. (I had a light roast drip coffee.) All in all, this place reminded me of some of the best cafes I've been to in Australia. It makes sense that they even use coffee beans from Australian roasters. My one minor issue was that the truffle bun was a little disappointing; the flavors felt unbalanced to me. It was kind of tangy and sweet, whereas I would've expected something more savory and bold. The textures were excellent though, thanks to the fluffy brioche bun and fluffy scrambled eggs. Nevertheless, it was a highly satisfying breakfast experience for us and we'll be back! Excited to try some of their dinner items when they become available. Our server mentioned that their burger is great, and they'll have a flank steak available soon.

Patricia Anderson

Was trying to be forgiving with the cold breakfast and cold coffee because I hate to complain on a beautiful Saturday morning. But, when we got home and 3 out of the 4 pastries we ordered we're wrong, I felt I needed to let people know. Tried to call, no answer, full voicemail. Annoying.

Heather Schettler

They're very intentional about making the place feel like a restaurant so if you're planning on staying to enjoy the view (which you'll want to do if you're getting the latte) just go find a clean place to sit, and you can order from there. My favorite place to sit is the high table facing the window to the mountains. You can tell I'm a Utah native.

Jeannie Kranendonk

We came into Beaumont for our first experience and after standing at the counter admiring the pastries for about 5 minutes, someone finally came to greet us and told us if we wanted to eat or drink there, we had to wait to be seated and order through the server. Once seated, we waited for 15 minutes and were never greeted by a server. We were so disappointed in the lack of customer service that we decided to leave and head to Beans and Brews down the road knowing we would receive good service and product there. The food looked great at Beaumont, but the service would detour me from coming back. Management needs to make some large changes regarding the attentiveness of their staff.

When you take you're first bite and before you finish swallowing it all you know you have to bring your wife back on a 30 min drive to try it, you know you've found something great. It was a good place for a business lunch, certainly busy there was a15 min wait to be seated. People certainly enjoy meeting here as much as they enjoy eating. I had the Avacado Toast with an egg easy over on top. I left with several pastries that were incredibly make sure to take some kruellers home with you.

I just bought lunch 10 minutes ago. I ordered a turkey sandwich with house cut fries and a pastry. Instead of a turkey sandwich I received the most smashed up and disgusting tuna fish sandwich I have ever seen. Thinking my meal couldn't be worse I ate the fries only to find an entire clove of garlic in my single serving fry sauce container. Having passed through the drive through I would have expected a couple napkins which i did not receive. I was not given a receipt either. 0/5.

We came for lunch and were surprised to find no menu availble for lunch items. There were two paper ones that the people in front of us in line were using, but no more; and no posted lunch items. Also, no hours were posted on the window/door. The service was slow, and first the server forgot silverware, then also our water. However, the food itself was quite good and the pastries looked delicious. After looking online, I found that they opened at 7 am and closed on Sundays. Disappointing. I wish they were open earlier in the morning and on Sundays for coffee times with friends.

Katherine Smith

I went in for coffee one day. Drooled over treats, but managed self control. Went in for treat and coffee to stay the next. Cruffin. To. Die. For. Flakey. Lovely flavour. Fresh. Other diners were seriously having food envy. I was not sharing. It almost makes me want to hurt myself again on the ski hill in Utah so I can go back and find solace in pastries and coffee. Service ok. Friendly and refilled coffee, and charmingly nice. Great experience overall! K

Food is very fresh. Great service. Great coffe (very particular interesting taste). Salmon bowl is awesome. Avocado toast please add the egg and is wow.

I was a naysayer when they first opened after a poor experience, but I am the first one to correct my opinion after a wonderful experience. New staff and fast service made their yummy food and good coffee hard to beat. Keep up the good work Beaumont! You are a wonderful neighborhood staple in the Cove.

I went to the place that was here for a couple of brief months before closing and never went back due to awful service and a staff that had absolutely no idea what they were doing. I gave this new restaurant a try and they still don't have a clue what they're doing. When I went the place didn't even have napkins out and there was cleaning equipment laying out in the middle of the floor where customers had to walk by to order. Nobody bothered to move it or pick it up. I'm not sure how 2 back to back places could be so poorly ran.

S K

They are imitating the Gourmandise and Eva Boulangerie route with the sweet bakery display. The tuna sandwiches are good with a little jalapeño bites slipped in. Croissants very crunchy, not sure if I like the cream cheese filled everything croissant, bit too rich. Service was decent other than not getting utensils with the food.

Addie Naegle

Spectacular food and excellent atmosphere and service. Today we ordered the avocado toast, french toast, eggs benedict and a couple pastries. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Kiersten is a great waitress. I highly recommend this place.

crysta Pleatman

Drive Thru opened so we decided to give it a try. Service was slow the first few visits but the food is consistently yummy! The Acai bowl is huge- its a mixture of fresh fruit and frozen blended Acai - a super healthy snack! The croissants are to die for and thats says a lot because I just returned from Europe. Today I was back and tried the chopped salad with the sesame vinaigrette dressing and I'm addicted! I would like to see the lettuce be chopped into bit size pieces like the veggies... hint hint. I love that there is no cheese on the salad and that the dressing comes on the side. Servers are friendly and smiley so give this cute place a try!

Larry Bohne

Fantastic food! Everyone should eat here. The cookies are amazing!!

Sammy Linebaugh

Great food and the owners are incredibly nice! They offered us a free dessert to try- a salted caramel donut pastry and it was amazing! Quality, gourmet food and great people. I’m so excited they’ve opened up!

Nikk Bobo

Big group and the service was great, the food was so tasty, and the pastries to die for. The everything croissants with cream cheese inside are definitely worth a try

Alexa Hanson

Speaking as a former barista, from the two times that I have been here, the coffee has been amazing. The pastries caught my eye on my first visit and I decided to try the chocolate croissant, which was delicious! The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because their service is quite slow. While I would normally not mind waiting 10 minutes for an iced latte and a croissant, when I’m trying to get to work, I would rather not wait that long.

Brian Van Ausdal

I may revise this later, should I try to ever go back and actually eat there. We sat for about 15 minutes without any attempt from what appeared to be the only server to give us a menu or let us order. He was moving like molasses and didn't seem to care that 20+ people were waiting on him. Mind you, there were three people behind the pastry counter, one of which was cleaning the glass so at least the glass is clean? Sorry, hate to do a review when I haven't eaten somewhere, the food is probably fantastic but we just left and went over to Wing Coop where we had food in far less than 15 minutes.

clancey henderson

Came highly recommended for its croissants...by another bakery. I was not disappointed. Very cozy feel.

Simriti Schwobe

Everything we ate was great. Love this neighborhood addition.

Updated: I finally got around to trying this place again, this time for dinner. This second experience is from February 2019. The service has gotten a lot better, meaning, it is faster and more friendly. I had the Turkey sandwich with fries and my wife had the Avocado toast with a fried egg. The Turkey sandwich was good, but could be made a bit better. I liked the texture and flavor of the bread. The fries were subpar. But I am a fan of the double fry method, and fries that are a bit more crispy. Chewy fries are not my thing, With all of that said, my wife's Avocado Toast with a fried egg looked amazing. She said that it was excellent, and if tasted half as good as it looked, I could agree with that. I did not get any of the deserts or pastries, but they looked good. In the classic French cafe / bistro vein I think there needs to be a hot Poulet (Chicken) dish on the menu. But other than that, I think the menu looked to have several good options. I will try this place again, and kudos to the owner for improving the service. My wife and went here last week (2018-September), based on the reviews. At first glance, the decor is nice and inviting, the pastries in the case look yummy, and the food people were eating looked really good. We were seated and given menus and were given a minute to look over the menu. A full 20 minutes later, when the server did not and would not come back to take our order (we tried flagging her down but she just looked the other way an ignored us) we left. The table next to us even commented when we tried to flag down the server "good luck". This appears to be a restaurant that has good food but no experience managing wait staff and ensuring they provide good service. If you continue to provide table service, please fix your wait staff. I would love to come back, if I knew I could actually be served. The other option is to go with counter service. But something needs to change.
